About this property

This designer condo at Laketown Wharf is on the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful views overlooking the lake on one side and only steps to the sandy white beaches of Panama City. The condo features a master bedroom and a bunk room with two twin beds. There is also a pull out sofa that makes another queen bed. There are two full size baths that each have a tub. The master includes a 12'' rain shower head and the middle bathroom has a nice handheld shower so you can wash off all that sand. You have an eat in bar, a kitchen table, and my favorite is the custom built fish table to eat on the balcony. You will have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. There is a dishwasher so you don't have to worry about the dishes and nice front loader washer and dryer. There is free WIFI, cable, HBO are provided. I have a closet with beach gear you are welcome to use and return. All glasses, dishes, and cookware are provided. You can cook your own meals or go out if you wish.

Due to new COA policies you will now need to purchase your Resort armbands and parking pass upon arrival.

Laketown Wharf features 5 outdoor swimming pools, a spa tub, a fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The condominium resort offers a nice restaurant called The Wharf that was featured on Tanked TV show, Juan's tacos (very authentic and delicious), Lorrie Morgan's spicy chicken and an on site store. Pineapple Willy's famous restaurant is right across the street and Walmart is right across the street as well. There are many restaurants you can walk to. You can also walk to Coconut Creek golf course, Beach stores, Beach rentals, and Ice cream shops. You can park your car and never have to leave if you like. Everything is right there.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful stay!! Great communication from the owner. The property is a short walk from everything. The kids loved the bunk beds and all the pools. The condo was more than enough room for our family. Everything was nice and clean. Check in & check out was very easy. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Great place to vacation!!

We stayed here with our 2 boys in June for a week. Absolutely LOVED the condo! Beautifully decorated and clean! Great location within walking distance to nearly everything!! Melissa was always accessible for questions and very helpful. Highly recommend!! Only complaints are that the wait time for an elevator is awful (not enough elevators for the number of condos) and the check in staff weren't very friendly.

Our stay

The location was perfect and the manager was very helpful. The condo wasn’t that bad it was beautiful but there was a water roach in the kitchen and the bed sheets had nasty stains on them. We went to Walmart bought our own sheets to replace the ones on the beds and kids room. The air unit it kept changing on its own and the temp kept going up. There was no electrical outlets in the kids room and no tv for them to watch.

Loved it

We loved our mini getaway last year. It was perfect for me and my 3 kids. The host provided everything we needed, even beach toys and chairs. The elevators were slow at times but that is to be expected. It is one floor away from the parking garage which was great. My son loved being able to use the gym on-site and daughter loved the kid pools. Beautiful view of the pond and light show. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice condo.

Spacious- lots of room. Slept 6 comfortably. Nice outside balcony also. Washer dryer, open kitchen. Good communication with the host. 2 bathrooms. Tv in master bedroom. Very close walk to beach access. Dishes , towels, etc… included during stay. Lots of pools to chose from on different floors. Quiet area. Loved the open floor plan of living area/kitchen.

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful condo. We loved the décor and that you had games available if you wanted to use. OH and the beach chairs and beach toys made it so much easier for me to pack to come to the beach. Made loading the vehicle so much nicer without having to have our bulky beach chairs. The door you added for the bunk room was also great! Our grandchildren could go to sleep and we could stay up and relax without the worry of the sound bothering them. We have stayed at many condos here and yours is the best!! Can not wait to book with you again!

Don’t go during busy months

The location of the condo sounded amazing online. Instead, we found it loud, noisy and not facing the beach. The traffic was horrendous when trying to check in and throughout the week. We couldn’t even get out of the garage to get groceries at Walmart because the garage was backed up to the 3rd level. Walmart was closed at 8pm every night which made it hard to get groceries during the non-busy hours. Tons of people j-walking and driving all over the road with golf carts. The Laketown wharf beach access key code did not work and no one could get in until someone came out. Kids at all the pools, and the hot tubs were out of order.

My kids absolutely loved this place ! They loved the room and the fact that they can choose from many different pools . Right across the street from pineapple Willy’s. It was the best stay !!!

Great location

The elevator issue mentioned in reviews never came up for us because the location of the property makes using the stairs for a couple of floors easy. Communication was excellent, but also proactive so we never even had to ask anything!

condo at Lakeside Wharf

The condo was nice, in the review on VRBO it said King size bed, it was a Queen size. It did have 2 baths and bunkbeds, and a queen size couch, which was somewhat uncomfortable, but most pull outs are. There was a box that said " inflatable matteress" apparently someone else needed it. Was not there. The maids in my opinion did somewhat of a shabby job cleaning. never pulled out the furniture and cleaned, the closet where the extra pillow were kept was so dirty. I cleaned it. Melissa was great about keeping us updated due to AC problems for the first 2 days but we were compensated for those days which was very nice. Its good location, elevators near the condo were slow, during high volume but did do good early morning or late in evenings. We did have a great time, pools are very nice. Restaurant at the condos are nice long wait but good food. Like any beach traveler places its a wait anywhere. Melissa was great to rent from. she was very quick to return text, Nice place.

Beautiful condo & great location!!

We had such a blast on our first trip to PCB!! This condo is very nice & the location was perfect for us! The property owner had great communication & everything was laid out perfectly! We had some up & down weather during our stay which caused most days to be double red flag but we took a ferry to Shell Island & were able to swim & had a blast! There is so much to do around the area that the weather didn't really mess with our vacay at all! We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Melissa!!

Last minute booking!

Had some unexpected time off work and decided on a Wednesday night to book and leave Thursday evening to arrive Friday. The property and location was gorgeous and we had a blast. Owner was super responsive we will be looking forward to coming back soon

The condo is great and has plenty of room for everyone. Bunk room is perfect for kids. Cleaning service could be better, because we had to sweep when we arrived.

Great place, small issues

I booked this very last minute because it was super affordable and looked nice. I was pleasantly surprised that it looked exactly like the pictures online! We only had a few small issues, like the floors were not cleaned at all(I know we did show up 20 minutes early though) the fridge not getting cold, and the couch was kind of wonky and worn out but overall we really enjoyed our stay. This place has a lot to offer and is really just right across from the beach and has a TON of pools. We will definitely be back in the future!

My husband and I decided to purchase a small piece of paradise. We enjoy the outdoors and especially the beach. Swimming is one of our favorite activities.

Why they chose this property

Panama City Beach has beautiful sandy white beaches and gorgeous weather. Even when it rains it blows over so quick you rarely lose a day of vacation to the weather. One of my favorite parts of this property is the lake. I am a beach lover but the lake is such a nice change and it is perfect with boardwalks and restaurants right on the property.

What makes this property unique

The most unique benefit of this property is that even though you are basically on the beach you still can relax by the lake. My favorite thing is to sit and have coffee out on the relaxing balcony or have breakfast or dinner out on the custom built fish table. There are more than enough options for pools and swimming. I also really love how you can go to the beach and just park your vehicle and walk everywhere. There are good restaurants to eat at and even Walmart is right outside the door.
