The sliding-glass door wall, over-sized picture windows and enormous covered deck that wraps across the entire length and width of the casita, all capture the mesmerizing panoramic views of both the Santa Catalina Mountains and the twinkling city lights at night, so the views are 24/7!
It's a 1 bedoorm/ 1 bath, open-concept design, ideally suited for a couple looking to splurge in total luxury and comfort. Whole house water-softening system, solar paneling, ample granite counter-tops, travertine stone walls, electric built-in fireplace, two Samsung LED 8K Smart Ultra HD TVs, two dual, top-grain leather, fully reclining sofas, dual oven, dining room in both the kitchen and the city-side by the fireplace, outdoor dining on the deck by the private grill just outside the kitchen with full Mountain View’s! Two outdoor lounge chairs and two outdoor dining tables, so u can choose to dine or wine by the mountain or city views! There are tons of nearby hiking trails, close to Sabino Canyon National Forest and Finger Rock, and biking trails, golf courses, museums, downtown shops and restaurants, convenient nearby restaurants and grocery stores, the Encantada Mall, Mount Lemon, in addition to many other local attractions and neighboring towns. Also within a mile away from "The Loop" where you can park your car and bike, walk or run the recently completed 131 mile long trail that is paved and spans all across Tucson!
This listing is relatively new as we have just completed the construction just over three years ago (listed in March 2018). The ambiance that was created in the construction and furnishings capitalize on the essence of Tucson and all of its beauty!

I don’t normally give reviews but this place is top notch. It looks like new construction and is beautifully decorated. It offers incredible night time city views and daytime Mountain Views. It is close to restaurants and great hiking. Karen went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Gem on the Hill

My husband and I had a wonderful time in the casita. The place is very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We were close to Sabino Canyon and other hiking trails. There are restaurants and shopping close by. The best part was coming back and enjoying the amazing views of the city. The sunsets were spectacular! Karen is an amazing hostess! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful home with a million dollar view

This house has a beautiful view set in the foothills of tucson. Fully equipped kitchen wit cabinets full of supplies and every tool a chef would want or need. We loved it so much we rarely left the property. Perfect for 2 people, the Hostess Karen was very helpful and kind. We will definitely return here again and stay longer next time.

Wonderful in every way!

My husband and I had an exceptional experience at Karen’s Casita. Listing photos accurately portray this very clean rental and it is equipped with everything you need for either a short or long stay in Tuscon. It is situated in a very safe neighborhood, conveniently close to restaurants, food stores, pharmacies, etc. Karen, the home owner, lives adjacent to the rental and is the queen of hospitality in my estimation. A five star plus rental with unbelievable views!

Absolute Gem!!

Incredibly beautiful space with above and beyond gracious host. Situated in the most desirable foothills location, this property offers breathtaking day and evening views from a wonderful wrap around porch, along with many large windows. Designed with everything in mind, it is truly spectacular with neverending little touches. The host, Karen, is delightful, extremely accommodating and very attentive in assuring that our every need was met. My daughter and I were sad to leave. Albeit, we plan to return, soon.
