Cute house in a great location. The clubhouse and pool is awesome and there was so much to do. We played a lot of pickle ball. Close to Waterville Valley as well so would be a great place to stay and ski.
We had a great time at this cute updated home.
Everything seemed to be brand new and updated, Had everything we needed in the kitchen to fully cook meals.
was at the end of a cul-de-sac and was very quiet, never heard the neighbors.
We enjoyed the communitee center with 2 indoor pools and out door poos and hot tubs. and adult only area was great, i was able to use the hot tub by myself and enjoy the breeze and views of the mountains.
even though it was a drive it was very short.
Mavryk, my dog and I went for a hike every morning in the trails that they had located nearby.
the only thing is the stairs going down stairs were wood and newly sealed. i slipped with my socks on half way and slid down the stairs. don't wear socks going down the wooden stairs.
the rugged stairs going upstairs were fine but a little steep if you have an older dog. or a dog with a broader front.
we also used the gas fireplace on the deck and cooked s'mores at night and enjoyed the peace and stars outside.
it was nice to have one family downstairs and one family upstairs. it worked out well for all of us.
would stay again if we have something to do in the area again.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Waterville Estates
This was a great condo just a short drive to the rec center. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Little hiccup about the code for the key, as one email listed a 3 digit code in the body of a message while another email gave a 4 digit code. Also, in reading the description, it sounded like 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 on the main floor, and a futon in the basement. It was actually 1 bedroom upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a futon in the basement. No bathroom on the main floor. This was a bit of an issue as one of our guests was trying to avoid stairs (bad knees). In the end it worked out just fine, just not as I had expected. Great stay and very easy communication with the owners.
On a side note, I did bring all of our own bedding, as I realized the comforters were not being cleaned after each use, as the renters are the ones cleaning and doing the laundry. The washing machine is way too small to wash these as well.
A nice house with easy access to the White Mountains
Nice getaway in the white mountains. The cabin was clean, modern, had nice furniture and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was a good base for hiking and biking in the Area and the community center offered nice pools and hot tubs. The owners were very responsive and flexible.
Very happy with our stay, the home was closely located the beautiful hiking trails and the recreation center. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and sheets. Host was easy to communicate with, and very pleasant.
The home was nice but it should be made mentioned that you need a 4 wheel vehicle in the Winter.
The home needs a better system of getting rid of trash. We thought we could use the dumpster down at the village and we were given a code to get into it but the code didn't work. The smoke detector is missing on the upper level. and we couldn't oprn the door in the basement level in case of an emergency.
This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s clean and has everything you need! The trash situation can be a bit cumbersome since you are responsible for removing trash and the there is only one dumpster nearby. It was full but other than that I would highly recommend it!
We had a great time. The house was clean and had everything we needed to just relax. The rec center was a short walk or drive and was amazing. 4 pools and 2 hot tubs plenty to do since it was a little rainy.
Nice location and accommodations. We very much enjoyed our stay. The upstairs bedroom gets hot so I would suggest bringing another fan. We would stay here again. The outside sitting area was awesome!!!
The rental property is comfortable like your home and in a good location to the recreational center. Access to downtown is about 20 to grocery store, DD Marshall etc. Fireworks were great at rev center for the 4th. The pond has paddle boats kayak access tennis courts we brought our rackets and also hiked. The gym in the rec center is amazing and 4 pools 2 jacuzzis are great esp when it rains- and this is included in your rental using their passes. We enjoyed our stay went to Clark’s and it’s about 18 miles not bad. The luxury of hotel if your NOT looking to clean cook everything like that this isn’t for you. But besides that we enjoyed it all! Great memories!
The house was excellent and as described. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores for everyone after a day of exploring. The house had games to play and dvds for the kids to watch. We will definitely stay again!
This house was a great "base" for exploring the Presidential and Sandwich mountain ranges. It was nice to come back to this cozy house after a day of hiking in the cold to cook a meal in the kitchen and sit by the fire. The owners are super-responsive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
We had the absolute BEST time here! The house was the perfect amount of space and it was easy to buy groceries and cook meals for ourselves as the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc.. The house was a little dusty and musky when we first arrived but other than it needed a quick wipe down, it was clean! It’s in an AMAZING location being right in the mountains. The back yard with the fire pit was gorgeous and such a nice surprise way to spend our evenings. Would definitely book again!
The accommodations are exactly as stated, with all the necessary amenities... plenty of room for our group of friends... and my LARGE (and happy!) dog. The location is convenient, with easy access to all the local attractions. The whole rental and communication process was a breeze. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Was up here with my wife 2 kids and dog. What a great pace, secluded, clean, quiet, close to many things to do in the area. Owners are great with communications and answering questions. Would recommend to anyone looking on the area.
Overall, our stay here was very enjoyable. The location is excellent with plenty of things to do nearby during all seasons. We were here in the summer, so we weren’t able to take advantage of Waterville Valley or Campton Mountain ski areas. The house is actually located on Campton Mountain so that ski area is extremely close. Also, the rec center was closed unfortunately due to COVID. So we weren’t able to enjoy the pool. But the pond was open for swimming and for the paddle boats. We had a lot of fun there and the kids really enjoyed that area. The pond was bigger than I expected from the pictures. In addition to the pond, there is a nearby river for swimming and tubing which was nice . We did some hiking nearby and went to Clark’s Bears and Squam Lake Science Center. Lots of fun things to do here in the summer too.
The house was clean. It was nicely decorated inside and very cute. There was some wear and tear inside (mainly with the appliances) but this is expected with a rental. Lots of games for kids on rainy days.
The outside needs some upkeep. A paint job and some landscaping would work wonders for the property. But the fire pit area is very nice. We enjoyed having fires and roasting marshmallows.
Check-in was a little rough because we were given the wrong code for the lockbox. And there was a wasp nest near the front door and two of the kids got stung. But the owners were very responsive and we were able to reach them quickly to get the right code. They were also very apologetic about the wasps nest and offered to reimburse us for the spray that we bought to get rid of them.
I can understand previous reviews that mentioned it being difficult to get the house cleaned and all linens washed before check out time as it is true the washing machine is small. But we opted to pay the extra cleaning fee so we did not have to clean the house ourselves. I would recommend doing that if you stay here. We did strip the beds and started washing as many sheets, towels, etc as we could before we left. We did not have time to finish washing everything so we left some things still in the washer and dryer. Hopefully that was okay with the owners but we did what we could with the time we had. There was no way we would have had time to vacuum or clean the bathrooms so the cleaning fee is worth it!
You have to remove all your trash before you go. But this was no problem because there was a dumpster nearby on the resort property for us to use.
