This beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2400 sq ft home on the water of Lake Buchanan is waiting for you! The amazing thing about this home is you have the comforts of a spacious, professionally decorated home matched with all that Lake Buchanan has to offer. No matter what brings you to the Texas Hill Country, this home allows you to relax on the decks, eat some of the most amazing fish you catch in our deep water, jet ski/boat, float in the lake, explore the historic town of Burnet, Wineries or Spider Mountain! If you bring your boat, you can tie it onto our large dock. *
Features include updated kitchen, washer & dryer, hardwood floors, 2.5 bathrooms, STARLINK wifi , A/C, heat, and fireplace, huge upper deck and extended deck right at the water, new deck off queen bedroom downstairs, boat dock, new artificial turf, new exterior paint, roof and windows, charcoal BBQ, library and games. We are a bit rural out here and on a well that has a UV water softener system. This home is in a neighborhood.
We have 2 kayaks and a couple life jackets for your use. Lake Buchanan is the largest of the chain lakes in the Austin area and the water levels fluctuate often. *WATER LEVELS ARE LOW AND DOCK IS CURRENTLY DRYDOCKED.

Memorial Day

Beautiful property and house right in the water! Lots to do, kayak, horseshoes, swimming, and the view from the deck is lovely. Plenty of room for the 8 adults to eat in the kitchen or play games in the living room. We’ll be back next year!

Eclipse getaway on Buchanan Lake

Magical! The decks were well used and offered beautiful views of the lake and eclipse. We also lucked out on the weather. Kayaking was lovely. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. There was some sort of ‘event’ at the dam with loud music all night- probably eclipse related. The house was well insulated so we didn’t hear the music from inside. I’d highly recommend this stay.

Wedding Weekend

Great visit and host!

We visit hill country at least twice and a year and always enjoy what it has to offer. This time around, we stayed at Connie's place and it did not disappoint! The home was in a great location close to a lot of things including, restaurants, shopping, groceries, bait store, Longhorn Caverns, Marble Falls, Inks Lake, Kingsland, and others too many to mention. Its about a 50 minute drive to Krause Springs but always worth it. The house itself is great with plenty of room and amenities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The upstairs AC did go out during our stay but the host got on it and it was fixed the next day. Though the dock was dry and the lake super low, we still enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, and just hanging out by the water star gazing. Great location, great host, and great times. Highly recommend and will come back.

Spartan Race

Me and friends participated in the Spartan race and this house was the PERFECT spot to stay! Very convenient to course! Super nice house with great deck to rest and recover after race! Host was amazing with communication! We are already talking about entering race next year and hopefully this house will be available again!

Weekend family trip

Great location, beautiful sunsets, great deck area. The water was low, but we still enjoyed fishing and skipping rocks and collecting shells. Hiked in close by Inks lake, enjoyed the strawberry farm in Marble Falls and the Longhorn caverns tour. We had to wipe all deck chairs before use because of the pollen. We had to clean off the turf area due to excessive animal droppings.

Great escape!

I've frequented this lovely home on the Lake over the years and love the recent updates! The new beds are super comfy (may even get the same mattress for my house) and the new private deck on one of the lower bedrooms and the patio cover give more enjoyable locations to enjoy the views of the lake. Owner is very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Great communications with the host. The house was fantastic and well stocked. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was so well stocked that it made the trip so much better than others. Since we are at the lake we always cook all of our meals there and this kitchen was a dream. Everyone in the family rated it higher than others we have stayed in around this area.

Family Lake House Vacation

Our family of five enjoyed a wonderful week on the lake. The view from the decks were beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the shaded deck and in the evening amazing sunsets with deer walking through the yard. We ate all of are meals in and enjoyed the remodeled kitchen and long dining table. The dock was dry docked due to the drought but we were still able to swim and use the kayaks. Very quiet neighborhood and there was hardly anyone on the lake. We rented a boat with a tube from Thunderbird which is less than 10 min away and would recommend doing. If you’re looking to go off the grid for vacation this is the place. We brought our favorite games including a portable corn hole and a puzzle of a lake house. We hope to be back and make more family memories!

Great Stay!

5 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids all had a great time on this home. Town is 15 min away for groceries or to eat out. Home is right on the lake with great views. We did alot of fishing and would have been a great swimming spot if the water was warmer. There are many stairs, just keep in mind, but that didn't stop us from anything!

Lakeside h(e)aven!

We loved staying at this home! Love the way the home has been decorated and the view is breathtaking! We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Host was super nice and responsive. They even added holiday decorations for us including a tree!

Our impression and review

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. The house and bedding had a bit of a musty smell and navigating the tv channels was virtually impossible. I had to eventually enroll with FuboTV to watch the cowboy game., Besides that the house was very comfortable, the updated kitchen was great and the view of the lake was beautiful. The windows could use a little cleaning. We will return here again and tell our friends of this beautiful house and lake.

Why they chose this property

This is a great home for multiple families, kids, and adults. It does have stairs so is not ideal for people who have trouble with them. It's in a nice quiet cove that's perfect for floating, swimming, boating, fishing and watching fabulous Texas sunsets! We've just finished remodeling most of the house, including a brand new kitchen so it's even better than before.
