About this property

Deer cottage, comfort of 130 m2 with view on the park a hinds

Chantal & Christian are pleased to welcome you to their renovated cottage in 2014, located in Birkenwald, Alsace.

This beautiful house, has a superb flat foot, spacious 130 m2, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The apartment has an individual entrance. You will marvel at the direct view of the deer and deer park from our property.

Escape to this small village of 300 inhabitants, near the forest to admire its landscapes and its castle of the sixteenth century. Hike, enjoy nature, discover our Alsatian specialties with our two gourmet restaurants.

Here nature is king. We invite you to relax to the quiet surroundings: take the time to pause and open your senses; listen carefully to the songs of birds, the call of the deer. Rediscover the smell of the air, flowers and even that of the earth.

Residents adjacent to the cottage, we are at your disposal to direct you to the different sites, cities and monuments to visit (Strasbourg, Saverne, etc.). 5km from the village shops.
Discover our beautiful Christmas markets (Strasbourg, Colmar, Kaysersberg)
Taste good pie outbreak, pretzels and all of our other Alsatian culinary specialties .... Allow yourself to simply live!

Réunion familiale

Chantal et Christian se sont montrés chaleureux, disponibles et prévenant. Très bel espace intérieur/ extérieur très fidèle aux photos. Très bien situé et un comité d'accueil tip top (moutons Cameroun et cervidés). Amoureux de la nature, nous vous recommandons ce séjour.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Bereits bei der Anreise wurden wir sehr herzlich von Chantal begrüßt. Mit vielen guten Tipps und Vorschlägen für Ausflüge hat sie unseren Urlaub sehr bereichert. Sehr schön war es auch, abends mit einem Gläschen regionalem Wein im Garten zu sitzen und die Hirsche zu beobachten. Die Umgebung ist für Wanderungen und Ausflüge nach Straßburg oder Colmar sehr gut geeignet. Wir können die Ferienwohnung und auch die Vermieter nur wärmstens empfehlen

Idéal pour une mise au vert.

Idéalement placé pour rayonner sur l’Alsace, de Colmar à Strasbourg. De Strasbourg à l.Allemagne. Vu très rapprochée sur un parc avec une trentaine de biches et de cerf.

Très agréable séjour

Le gîte est fidèle aux photos de l'annonce, spacieux et très propre, bien équipé. La literie est confortable. Le site est très calme ; la maison est en bord de route, mais il ne passe quasiment aucune voiture. Excellent accueil de la propriétaire qui donne de bons conseils pour les visites aux alentours. A recommander.

Séjour parfait dans la campagne alsacienne

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au gîte du cerf. Spacieux, confortable, propre et bien équipé, la communication avec les hôtes est facile et chaleureuse :-) Balades sympas dans les environs, et cadre très agréable. Équipement bébé sur place bien appréciable ! Astuce : on avait bloqué l'accès de la cuisine avec des sacs de voyage pour éviter que notre tornade marchante de 15 mois ne s'éparpille trop, et c'était parfait ! Tout le monde a adoré ce séjour ! MERCI !

Great Place to Stay

Fabulous property in a beautiful village location. Everything is very well presented and very clean and tidy. Chantal, the host, is most agreeable and accommodating, and will go out of her way to help if you wish it, or leave you alone to your own devices if you don't. I highly recommend a visit to the area for all the sights and sounds Alsace has to offer and the warm welcome you will receive..

Idylle pur

Man kann es kaum beschreiben! Die Vermieter sind super nett, freundlich´, in jeder Hinsicht kommunikativ und zuvorkommend. Bei diesem Objekt fehlt es an nichts und man kann bequem mit leichtem Gepäck anreisen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wer sich vorab kundig macht kann auch in der näheren Umgebung viel unternehmen und Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen. Diese Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen. Ich werde dieses Angebot bestimmt öfter wieder nutzen und dann mit Anhang vorbeischauen. Ich freue mich schon auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!

Magnifique maison mais pas de réseau

Le maison est très belle avec une superbe décoration, très propre, la cuisine est exceptionnelle, nous avons eu un bel accueil. Cependant son point fort est son point faible, il n'y a aucun réseau téléphonique et la boxe a un débit d'il y a 20 ans. Parfait pour le calme mais sans les enfants :)

Excellent séjour en famille.

Ancienne maison bien rénovée et modernisée. Literie confortable. Accueil avec produits de la région. Arbre de Noël brillant de tous ses feux. Le calme de la campagne. Les excursions dans le pays alsacien. Tout est là pour vous régaler. Ce que nous avons fait sans modération. Nous recommandons le gîte du cerf.

Zurückgezogener Familien-Elsass-Urlaub

Die Wohnung ist riesig, wir haben mit unseren drei kleinen Kindern lockerleicht rein gepasst. Die Aufteilung ist sehr gelungen, mit der großen Durchgangsküche im Mittelpunkt, zur linken Seite dann die Schlafräume und Bad, zur rechten Seite Essbereich und Wohnzimmerbereich. Wir Eltern konnten oft noch am Esstisch verbleiben, während die Kleinen im Wohnzimmer mit Lego gespielt oder durch das bodentiefe Fenster die Hirsche und Schafe beobachten konnten. Das Bad ist sehr klein und das Klo separat, ist aber sauber und renoviert, reichte also vollkommen aus. Bei herbstlichen Temperaturen war das Haus bei unserer Ankunft schon angenehm beheizt und auch während des Aufenthalts immer schön warm. Das Außengelände ist schön für Kinder bis 10 Jahre, mit kleiner Sandkiste, Boules-Platz und Tischtennisplatte, dazu die drei Schafe im umzäunten Gehege der Vermieter. Außerdem ist man fast direkt am Waldrand, wo man schön spazieren gehen kann. Im Ort selbst gibt es kaum interessante Ziele, höchstens die guten Restaurants. Dafür gibt es in den umliegenden Wäldern unzählige Burgen und Ruinen, verschlafene elsässische Dörfchen, ein Schiffshebewerk, eine Sommerrodelbahn, dazu sind Straßbourg und die Hochkönigsburg in erreichbarer Nähe. Auch das kleine Städtchen Saverne ist einen Besuch wert. Die Vermieter sind spitze, sie wohnen im Nachbarhaus und geben gerne Auskünfte und gehen auf Wünsche ein. Der Gugelhupf und Cremant zur Begrüßung sind genial. Wir waren von den 10 Tagen sehr begeistert und überlegen wieder zu kommen.

Accueil très soigné.

Tout est mis en œuvre pour que les locataires passent un séjour douillet. La maison est parfaitement équipée et extrêmement soignée et l'environnement est magnifique.
