The house was adorable, well-apportioned, and really well located. It was an easy walk to downtown and there were some fun cafés right nearby. The host was incredibly accommodating when we needed an early check-in and a late check out. And very gracious, and easy to communicate with. Our family loved staying here. I recommend it highly!
Great house! Very clean. Close to downtown. Just be careful entering and exiting driveway especially if you have a low car.

Worth a 4.5
The house was beautiful and very clean. Air conditioning worked extremely well and the showers were nice. The upstairs bathrooms were missing hand towels and when we parked, there were 3 cars in the driveway. I messaged the owner asking if this was to be expected and never heard back which surprised me. Next door there is an old fire house (also listed on VRBO). They hold events there and the music/noise went till 10:00 both nights. The neighborhood is OK. It might still be considered the “historic district” but it’s definitely on the outskirts. Due to trees and neighbors, the house doesn’t get much sunlight and the lighting was just barely sufficient. Overall, a really pretty house and if you plan to drive most of the time to see things, this is a great option.
This house is just perfect for an intimate gathering and an ideal bouncing off point to explore Wilmington. My sister and cousins wanted to escape our husbands for a weekend and relax at the beach and have nice wine and food, and this house was remarkably cozy and made us feel like the “coastal grandmothers” we are! The kitchen was well stocked, making cooking easy, and the showers were stocked with great toiletries! We also loved the bedding! Entry was super easy, and if you’re not afraid of heat, historic downtown is walkable! Otherwise, this place was also really easy to navigate around by car! To use the off-street parking is pretty difficult because of a steep dip and tree roots, so I wouldn’t attempt without a high-clearance vehicle, but street parking felt relatively safe as it’s a quiet neighborhood. AND there’s a fresh seafood market catty-corner to the house, so pop across the street and get you some shrimp to steam up while you’re here! Would love to come back!
This house felt like home the moment we entered! It was very updated, and the beds were cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to town for food and entertainment… not too far but enough distance for good exercise. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
The house has old charm on the outside with a completely renovated interior. Everything was perfect. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were very clean and the porches were great for visiting with family. The RX restaurant is on the corner and it was excellent. We were able to walk downtown in about 15 minutes. Would stay there again.
I can’t say enough good things about this property. It is very roomy and easily accommodated 7 adults. It is very well decorated and appointed. It was an easy walk to downtown and was across the street from an amazing restaurant. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!
Wonderful home in the River Arts District. Very spacious, modern, and clean. Home is in a good location between downtown Wilmington, UNCW and Wrightsville beach. Neighborhood is in transition.
Highly Recommend!! The house was super clean and exactly like the pictures. It's also super convenient to the River Walk / Coffee Shop / Restaurants. Parking on the street was easy, navigating to the house was simple and Ashley was really easy to contact. The beds were also really comfy. 10/10 would revisit!
This is a beautiful house that is well decorated and comfortable. It's in a cute artsy district of downtown Wilmington about a 20 minute walk to the riverfront. Nice coffee shop and breakfast cafe around the corner. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We only wished there was a coffee maker or actual coffee in the Kurig (there was only hot chocolate).
We loved everything about our stay -- the lovely accommodations, the perfect location to walk to town and through a beautiful historic district, the coziness of being in a real home. Ashley was there if needed but we really didn't need anything -- everything had been considered. We look forward to staying there on a future trip to Wilmington!
Very nice townhouse that needed to be better cleaned.
The house was lovely but not entirely clean with lots of dust under furniture and pots, pans, dishes put up dirty. Oven and drawer below oven dirty. No pans/ dishes available for oven use. One towel per person for week and one dish cloth. I would stay there again as was very nice but the above issues would need to be addressed. I made no effort to have these things addressed while there but I’m sure they would have been had I called.
Loved the house! So we’ll appointed and comfortable and convenient to downtown, sites, and our family who live nearby.
Will definitely stay there again!
We really enjoyed staying at your home. What a beautiful home and comfortable furnishing. Everything was perfect. Very close and quick access to downtown. The bridesmaids enjoyed the huge master bedroom and bath getting ready for the wedding. Didn’t get a chance to eat at the Rx Restaurant across the street, but the aroma coming from their kitchen smelled great. Maybe next time. Thanks again!
We were 6 ladies on a business trip and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The house was beautiful and spotless. So much attention to detail. Ashley was great in checking in with us and responding to emails. We had a wonderful time and all of us would highly recommend this house!
This was a very nice house to stay in a charming area of Wilmington. The house was very nicely decorated, very comfortable. We liked the area of town because it was not in the heart of the tourist area. There were several restaurants that we could walk to as well as a couple of antique stores. The kitchen was well appointed.
