Reviewer Comments:
We loved staying at Cookie on the Rocks. The North end of Abaco is quiet and laidback. Just what we wanted! The house is beautiful and well appointed with plenty of towels (including beach towels) and sheets. The kitchen is equipped to cook with plenty of kitchen utensil and cookware. We had a good experience getting groceries delivered before we arrived through Sunkiss Priovisioning (). It was worth the provisioning fee because when we arrived in the afternoon we didn’t have to go grocery shopping and could relax and enjoy the views. We ordered water through celestial water () and had a 7 gallon container of drinking water delivered. (I would have done this ahead of time if I had known about it. Also we didn’t have to use a bunch of plastic single use bottles). Celestial picked up their container at the end of our week and issued a container refund. In the house instructions, it does say you can drink the water, but warns for some it may upset their stomachs. We decided to play it safe and order water. There is a coffee machine and a French press for coffee people (like me). Coffee selection is minimal(think Folgers) at the grocery stores (Vernon’s and LVA convenience) so if you like good coffee you might consider bringing your own. We rode our bikes back and forth to Hope Town, which worked out great. We rented them at Hope town Canvas. We rented a boat through Island Marine and moored it at the north end dock. Overall we had a great stay. The house is beautiful. Elbow Cay Properties were great, too. The beach out in the front of the house is turquoise on top of turquoise. I would recommend doing a little stargazing too. A wonderful trip!
