The house is a bit dated and has a musty smell, but there were scented candles and ceiling fans to help. It’s rustic and tidy, and appointed with basic necessities.
The master bed is quite comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets. The view from the firepit is nice at sunset and they provide plenty of firewood for your stay (which is great!).
Without the firepit, there would have been very little draw for just hanging at the house, and it’s a bit overpriced for other comparable rentals, but it’s a decent and comfortable place to rest your head for day trips around the area. Oh, and the owner was VERY fast to respond to communication/questions. We give it an overall 7/10.
