This gorgeous home is located in a private cove of Lake Shasta.
This home has it all. The privacy of the cove allows you to moor your boat at the house safely. It is also great for fishing, swimming or just relaxing on the water. The backyard has three levels which tier down to the water. This gem is so beautiful and peaceful that it is a great place to hold family reunions and retreats.

Walk outside your balcony and enjoy breathtaking views every day. At night relax around the large fire pit under the stars. After a long day of fun soak into the jacuzzi hot tub for total relaxation. BBQ on your own private deck or relax in your own recreation room, complete with fooseball table,pool table,T.V. and games for the kids. Our gourmet kitchen and grand dining room table allows seating for up to 14-16. Its a great place to gather for family meals or meetings. Lake water behind the home drops depending on the season and when it does it allows for great hiking. Pool is not heated.

The property is located walking distance to restaurants and market. This home is located in a private cove of Lake Shasta. Water fluctuates on Lake Shasta. We cannot determine the water level at any given time. SORRY NO PETS.

Repeat big group renters

Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point.

Relaxing getaway

Be prepared to enjoy some R & R! House is great and backyard is beautiful! We loved the view and didn’t want to leave ! Close to 2 Marinas for launching or renting a boat like we did. Hot tub was a highlight at night to just sit back and enjoy the night sky ! This could be our go to place !

Huge Disappointment

Pros: The inside of the house was clean. The maintenance guy and pool guy were wonderful and did their best to save our vacation. Cons: House is in a run down very sad neighborhood. The house itself is very rundown and poorly maintained inside and out. We were absolutely shocked to learn it is only ten years old. Everyone's' guess was 35-40 years. The furniture is old and broken down. Outdoor furniture was obviously left out for the winter, tattered and mildewed. Doors and windows don't function. Only one lamp in the living room and switch on it did not work. Nothing in the house seemed to function as it should and quality is poor.At this price point it should be exceptional. For us the worst situation was the pool. We discussed on no less than four occasions before arriving, IN WRITING, that the pool would be cleaned and functional, and that we would have pool heat. We even discussed the cost and how this extra cost would be paid. We were shocked to find a completely filthy pool, pool area and what appeared to be a long non-functioning pool heater. We immediately contacted the owners who placed blame on the pool guy and maintenance guy. To their credit these men came to the house and worked for four days trying to get the pool usable and the outdoor areas usable. We were told the pool heater hadn't functioned in six years. They were unaware guests were even going to be there. Due to this we were able to use the pool only one day of our stay. This could have all been avoided if the owners had been honest when I first contacted them and asked " will the pool be cleaned and open?" and "can the pool be heated?" Another shocking situation arose one afternoon when a man and women who stated they were the property managers arrived. They wanted to go through the house to gain access to the garage to "look for a basketball ". We were either being checked up on or cased. Very unprofessional. Non of this was ever satisfactorily resolved. Lack of concern by the owners is notable, we were never contacted and our attempts to contact the owners ignored. We have rented vacation homes across the US and abroad many times. With the exception of a few minor hiccups we have had great luck and have not been disappointed. Our luck ran out with this rental.

Place is great for big groups. Many beds and separate sleeping areas. Didn't use pool area, too cold outside. Great place for fishing trip

Beautiful Home

We stayed at this rental for my mother’s 70th birthday. When we pulled up the house was even more stunning then the pictures. The kids thought it was a mansion. The kitchen was big and had a lot of supplies to cook with. We even baked a cake. The bedrooms had newer mattresses (at least the one I slept on). The gaming room is a bit smaller then we thought it was going to be but it was still plenty of space. My kids rarely left it (this was huge). The lake was extremely low so we did not get to enjoy that but the pool and spa were great! Due to the lake being so low it did open up a a great opportunity to hike around. We are hoping to return next year!

House was perfect for the group that we had over. Everyone had fun the pool was the savior since the weather was in the 90’s. Host was great at including instructions throughout the house.

Great place for friends to gather.

We stayed with four other couples and had a great time at this property. The pool is great for staying cool. The outdoor gathering places were very nice. The kitchen is big, clean, and fun to work in while visiting from the dining area. The table fits 12 people and the living room is very comfortable. It is well stocked and Saundra was easily reached when we wanted the hot tub serviced, he came the same day. Unfortunately, due to the low water level in CA, there wasn’t any water in view. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Beautiful space!

The area this property is on is absolutely gorgeous. The house is incredibly spacious and had plenty of sleeping space for our group. The back yard has tons of seating and a great view for the sunset!

Great location, plenty of space

We had a great time staying at this beautiful house, there were plenty of parking space and lots of room for the group stay. One thing we noticed the pots and cooking wares were old and furniture and some mattresses were in need for an upgrade. Overall the property was clean, and we will stay at this place again.

Gathering Oasis

The Pool made this property an Oasis in this current drought. The Kitchen was perfect for our Annual Family gathering The additional Referigator and additional island sink made our group cooking a pleasure. The Kitchen Table was large enough for ALL to eat together and play games as well.

Great floor plan!

We had a large group for a week at the lake. The layout of this home it ideal—lots of bedrooms & bathrooms as well as 2 large gathering rooms. The large kitchen, big island & long table accommodates a lot of people. They have 2 fridges, a wide selection of pans & bowls, good knives & all the necessary serving utensils. We appreciated the many towels & bed linens. The pool & decks are so refreshing after a day in the sun. We also appreciated the large long driveway for boat trailers. The house is well thought out & obviously used by the owner. They have all the necessities. It’s close to the stores & marina. The lake was low but still had a great view. The home is a little worn & tired—it could use a little TLC, but otherwise a great home.

Family Getaway

This was a great space for us to meet up with our five adult children and their significant others. Lots of room to spread out. The pool was a welcome getaway from the triple digit heat! There are a few things that need some updating, and the A/C struggled to keep the downstairs cool (but...again...it was triple digit heat outside). We also loved walking down to the Basshole Brewery for beverages and food (about a 10 minute walk). Overall, we could not have asked for a better space to spend time with our family.

Terrible house cleaning, dirty bed, badly cleaned bathroom etc. The pool heater does not work, they would have commented that the lake was dry, since the reason for going there was because of the lake and they did not mention that. among other things that happened.

Memories to Cherish

This house is absolutely beautiful from inside out. The host responds quickly and are very nice people. My family and I enojyed the lake, making smores, and the games the host provided. The pool was very cold therefore it wasn't utilized. The hot tub was amazing with the beautiful view. We created many memories to cherish on this trip. We all enjoyed ourselves so much. We will definitely rent from them again.

The place was nice overall

We had an enjoyable stay. There were a few amenities that were on the video that were not in the house. For example there was no pool table..the hot tub did not smell nice at all... we added bleach but did not succeed after a few days.. the pool heater did not work so the young adults only swam in it once.. no tv in one of the rooms .... our buddy took the ceiling cleaner broom n cleaned out all the cobwebs in the window very high up near the ceiling. We enjoyed our stay overall but just those few lacking amenities Was one of the reason we rented the place. Thank you

The property is gorgeous and the house Architecture is beautiful, the parking is awesome with plenty of room for our boat and several other large vehicles. The house just needs a deep cleaning and new furniture the couches are so old and have no support left in them and the beds all need replaced. There are cobwebs everywhere in the house, but the kitchen and all bathrooms were clean. I would also like to say if you have more then 4 or 5 people you need to bring Utensils. Overall this is a great place to stay and we would stay here again.

Amazing family vacation

This house was pretty amazing! Some highlights...The house was in a beautiful no wake cove. We were close to Antlers Marina where we rented our boats. We were able to tie up/stake our boats in front of the house. Having a pool was priceless. Nice deck off the back of the house. Our kids enjoyed the fire pit. The huge kitchen and family room was great for our crowd. Closely located to a small general store, restaurant/bar. There was a few things that need some attention. 2 of the 3 A/C units did not cool part of the house sufficiently. The refrigerator's door ice machine and water was not working. Could use a good deep cleaning. Needs to update furnishings (beds/bedding, couches). Would we stay there again??? Absolutely! Thank you for a lovely stay.
