Welcome to the condo for the beach lover in all of us! Conveniently placed across the street from the beach and a fishing pier, this condo is perfect for a family vacation. It is a short walking distance away to anything that you could possibly need. 2 swimming pools are in the complex, one being heated. With a comfy queen size sleeper in the living room, two bunk beds, to a nice queen bed in the master, this comfy condo can house up to 6 people(4 adults 2 kids). This condo was recently renovated and cable and WiFi are included.

Not exactly as pictured.

Sheets were soft and AC worked great! I was surprised when I was notified of the $40 parking fee the day before my trip. That should have been in the listing. Lots of hair on the floor. Especially in the bathroom. Floors throughout do not look like have been swept between guests which is unsettling. The email had the wrong lockbox code so I had to call the host for the correct one. Thankfully she answered right away but the correct code should have been sent the first time. Unit had 3 towels, no hand towels or washcloths and gnats were flying inside. I would not rent this unit again.

Very cute a quaint Getaway

Property was very clean and nice. It was small and cozy perfect for just 2 people. The kitchen had many amenities and supplies for u. It was in walking distance of everything. Very nice would stay here again.

Great Galveston Weekend

Our stay at this condo was perfect. It has all the amenities we needed. We were close to anything we wanted to do on the island, yet the condo was quite and private. The owner was very great with communicating with us. I would definitely look for this proper when returning.

Casa del mar

The condo we rented was small but nice! Should know: not all of the condos are owned by the same owner! You do have to pay a one time parking fee of thirty dollars with casa Del Mar’s front desk! The code to get the keys for the condo were not in the instructions upon payment. Had to call the host of the condo to get the code upon arrival! ( took a few phone calls for her to respond, her Inbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message. When she finally called back she argued that the code was in the instructions but agreed to give me the code. The condo is across the street from the beach and we could see only a part of the beach from our balcony but the view was overall still beautiful! Note: if you have any issues with contacting the host for your condo.. the front desk does not have any affiliation with the other owners or hosts of the condos ! Make sure if you have any questions..contact hosts or owners before you book your reservations and all questions are answered by your hosts or owner of condos once trip is reserved. Trip was still amazing and the room was cozy and clean. (You do have a cleaning fee but still have to clean the condo yourself before you leave or they will charge you another cleaning fee)

Lived up to the reviews

I’m always nervous about booking something other than a hotel because you never know if the reviews are true. I was pleasantly surprised to see that reviews were accurate. Jennie was extremely helpful and accommodating with everything before our stay. We booked late, so it was a little far out from the events of the Lone Star Rally (the reason for our visit), but it is conveniently located to everything someone would need if they were there to enjoy the beach. I would definitely recommend!

Weekend stay

The condo was clean and there was ample sleeping space for my husband, myself, and my adult daughter with the pull out sofa bed. There was also a futon and two wall bunk beds for small children. The pool was beautiful and the stairs down to it were just outside our door. There is also a small kitchen if you choose to cook while you are there or there is a Golden Corral just a short walk through the parking lot. It was great stay for the three of us!

Nice stay and pool was great!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and a close walk to the beach. We arrived in October so peak season was over. We pretty well had the pool to ourselves many times. The pool is beautiful and very large. The kids loved it as did we.

Weekend Getaway!!

Beautiful condo, very clean and comfy. Loved the location it is in front of the pool. Great commute to everything!! Highly recommend this place.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT WARNING!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

RENTED A SPECIFIC UNIT OF MY CHOICE. DID NOT WANT A UNIT WITH A BEACH THEME. I CHOSE A MODERN UPDATED UNIT. APPARENTLY THE ACTUAL UNIT THAT I HAD BOOKED HAD A WATER LEAK SO THE PROPERTY OWNER, JENNIE, PUT ME IN ANOTHER UNIT. THE BEDDING ON THE BUNK BEDS LOOKED WORN AND OLD. THE DECORATIONS WERE TACKY. THE COUCH THAT SLEEPS TWO IS NOT COMFORTABLE. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF ANY CHANGES OR OFFERED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION. PARKING IS ADVERTISED AS FREE. IT IS NOT YOU PAY FOR PARKING TWICE. $20 AS PART OF YOUR RESERVATION FEE AND THEN YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE PARKING PASSES FOR YOURSELF AND ANY GUESTS VEHICLES WHICH WAS AN ADDITIONAL $21.65. I WILL NEVER STAY AT CASA DEL MAR IN THE FUTURE.

Unsatisfactory The internet photos were not correct. The access code I was given is wrong. Jennie sent a man out there to change the bloody bed spread, change the air filter, when he arrived he never even knocked on the door he walked right in. You have to pay to park there they will not give you a receipt. There was No dish soap No dishcloth the smell from the refrigerator was so bad. FYI There's more but I'm going to stop here.

Christmas Week

Check in was a breeze. Room isn’t 5 stars, but I didn’t pay a 5 star price. We did get (above) what we expected. Room is the farthest from the crossing to beach, but I consider it a plus do to all the traffic on the roads out front. This was our first time to Galveston. It’s a little pricey for our taste. But everyone we met and dealt with were very pleasant. Especially for being Christmas week and having to work. We didn’t do a lot. We were here to relax and that’s what we did. The owner suggested the Shark Shack and we loved it too. Thanks you Jennie for sharing your home with us.
