Nice stay in Orange!
We really enjoyed staying in the apartment beside Katie's home! It's a lovely place - very comfortable! My only disappointment was that a hot tub was advertised on the VRBO site, but it didn't exist. Katie refunded us $100 and said she will update that on the site. Their backyard pool isn't heated, so it was too cool to use it without a hot tub in the fall. Katie was very nice.

We loved out short stay that allowed us close proximity to Chapman University for homecoming and a space to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine in the outdoor patio. Katie as such a gracious host. Gem of a find for our family of 4. Tranquil and quite.

All of the comforts you could ask for and so close to Disney!
I flew out to California from NJ to meet up with my 19 year old son who is currently a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. My son was a huge Disney Cars fan as a child and he wanted to visit Disney California Adventure Park during my visit on the west coast. He had one request which was to stay somewhere that had a pool, so I found this place on VRBO and booked it for a weekend. We couldn’t have picked a better place! All of the comforts of home, a beautiful pool and the most gracious of hosts who went above and beyond to create a memorable stay for both of us. Thank you for that! ❤️ Would highly recommend your place to any body!

Great location, great property, great host
3 of us stayed to visit family. Very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable - but also conveniently located near grocery and main streets. Google Maps is wrong - pay attention to the street address, but that was the worst thing that happened to us the whole time and Katie was right on it. We didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. Easy, convenient off-street parking too.

Lovely stay in Orange
Katie and John offered us this apartment while visiting family nearby. The location was perfect and the apartment was very comfortable and spacious for three of us. There is a lovely deck with a table for breakfast, and their unheated pool was just right in the hot weather and generously shared by the hosts, with a large variety of pool accessories. The apartment was well furnished and had many of the little things that other apartments lack (adequate towels and pool towels, plenty of toiletries, full refrigerator and stove, microwave and dishwasher, ceiling fans, etc.) Very enjoyable stay and would gladly stay there again. Thanks, Katie and John!

Loved this VRBO! Such a cute place and a great location. Katie the host was very communicative and friendly with me before and during our stay and got back to me quickly if I had a question. We were provided everything we needed, and located right across a grocery store. Highly recommend, I’d readily stay here again! P.S. highly recommend Lucky’s Thai Pantry around the corner, especially the crab fried rice!! Please try it if you stay here

Just what I needed
I would definitely stay here again. It was clean and quiet, two things that are very important on a Disney vacation! The owner was very nice, and even came outside at night to help us find the house upon our late arrival.

Felt like home
We had a wonderful stay at Katie's apartment! It is an upper unit of a triplex, which is much more intimate and less crowded than a traditional apartment. Katie was a receptive and accommodating host. The unit was clean and was appointed with high quality furnishings, including the comfortable recliner sofa and beds! The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. We look forward to staying again in the future when we are in town for Chapman events!

Katie was very communicative prior to check-in. Check-in was simple. Katie was easily available during our stay and even went beyond our expectations by inviting us to dinner and offering to drop us at Disneyland if needed. The apartment was clean and had everything as advertised. The size was good for our family of 3 and could have fit more comfortably. The proximity to Albertsons was convenient and the parking was very easy. Driving distance to Disney parking about about 15 minutes. We visit the area at least once a year and would stay again.

Great Location
We stayed at this property while I attended a work conference at the Anaheim Marriott. The location was perfect for this, and very centralized in Orange County for visits to other sights and restaurants in Orange, Anaheim, Tustin, Irvine, and even the beaches. The unit had everything we needed for our stay, and the owners were very attentive, checking in to make sure everything was OK. The area is a quiet suburban street, but very close to a grocery store and Starbucks, which was convenient for us! We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

Quiet and peaceful neighborhood close to everything. Amenities are excellent.( Including a nightlight in the bathroom) and scented candles..Katie our host baked us delicious banana muffins upon arrival. Will highly recommend and surely will stay in the property again.

We were looking for something away from the crowds and this was the perfect spot for us. This was a tucked away space that had a full kitchen, well-equipped living room, and comfortable beds. The host was amazing and was helpful at every step in the process. We would definitely stay here again.

Katie and her husband were wonderful hosts. We visited from NorCal for baseball camp for my son. Their home is well cared for as well as the neighborhood. The market is close by and was perfectly located for us to attend baseball camp at Hart Park and Chapman and Concordia Colleges. The main bedroom had a very comfy bed. I think a nice bed pad would go a long way in the small bedroom. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very safe neighborhood and would stay again if the need arises. Thank you for being great hosts. We are John & Katie Goosman, semi-retired and loving it. John is an avid golfer and the adoring doggie is Sandy! I have practiced the art of Interior Design for longer than I am willing to admit. We have lived in this beautiful home for the past 13 years and love being close to all the beauty that Southern California has to offer. I love the beach, John loves his golf and we travel several times a year to visit friends, or just to see various and interesting locations. Some of our favorite spots have been Hawaii, Sedona, Austin, Vancouver, Niagara by the Lake and many other locations. Both of us were born and raised in California and my family dates back to the late 1800”s.

Why they chose this property

We are centerally (driving time) located between Los Angeles and San Diego and just a short drive away from the Iconic beaches of Newport, Corona Del Mar, Laguna and Long Beach.
Minutes away from the historic district of Orange, Disneyland, Angel Stadium, the Honda Center (where the Ducks play Hockey), the Anaheim Convention Center, Segerstrom Center for the preforming arts, Chapman college and hundreds of other attractions. Located within walking distance of the grocery store and several restaurants, this is an ideal place to lay your head at night. Close by in Santa Ana there is the Bowers Museum, The Discovery Cube, and for shopping there is the prestigious South Coast Plaza. South Coast Plaza is renowned for its luxury shops, such as Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Saks Faith Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales, to name a few. Long Beach hosts the renowned Queen Mary and the acclaimed Aquarium of the Pacific. Buenaventura Park plays host to Knotts Berry Farm, The Pirates Dinner Adventure Theater and Medieval Times. In Corona Del Mar you can visit Sherman Gardens, stroll through the gardens and enjoy lunch. Close by in Newport Beach, Rodgers Gardens recently added a farm to table experience restaurant.
There are so many and various things to do close by that there is never enough time to explore Orange County, let alone our beautiful Rivera of the Pacific.
