1,500 s.f., 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom beach bungalow on the desirable North Shore of Hood Canal. Panoramic 180 degree views of the canal, mount rainier and surrounding majestic Olympic Mountains - watch the sun rise at the East end and set at the West end of the canal, perched high above the canal, on a 40 foot private deck. Southern exposure provides for full day of sunny delight. Whether you're eager to get out and explore or you prefer to let the stress melt away while relaxing at the water's edge, you'll want to make Tide's End Beach House a regular destination!

ADDITIONAL HOME DETAIL:

This is a single level home, with master bedroom on one end and two bedrooms, with a shared bathroom, on the opposite end. The two large living areas in the middle, offer comfortable couches, additional captain chair seating and a large dining table that easily accommodates 6-8 people. You will outstanding views of the water from the dining table. In the living areas, three large picture windows look out on the water. You'll love the cozy nautical decor and the cooks in your group will rave about the well-equipped kitchen, while enjoying the amazing views out over the water! Large refrigerator, oven, stove top, microwave, large pantry, Keurig coffee-maker, and fully stocked cabinets with new dishes, silverware, glasses, and cookware. Washer and dryer provided in laundry room.

OUTDOOR PRIVATE DECK and DINING:

The jewel of Tide’s End Beach House is the 40-foot deck that extends over the water, and lower terrace with seating around the firepit. Perched 10-12 feet above the tide-line, relax and enjoy the sound of the tide, splashing against the seawall with the ebb and flow of the canal. Enjoy a book or cocktail while taking in amazing views, gazing across the canal. The sunsets are absolutely spectacular with pink, orange and red glowing colors, as my pictures will attest.
The deck is furnished with a large outdoor patio table, umbrellas, and 2 chaise lounge chairs. There are 8 comfortable padded chairs surrounding the table, with additional seating if needed. Want to BBQ outdoors? The deck is outfitted with a propane BBQ with side burner, perfect for steaks, burgers, seafood, etc.
Walk down a few steps and enter the water without having to touch the rocky beach floor. Water temps are in the 72-74 degree range in summer. Close your eyes, relax and breathe the fresh salt-tinged air. Cuddle by the fire-pit on the lower terrace or just hang out and watch the variety of water fowl, seals and other marine life that inhabit the canal. You may even see an eagle soar overhead!

THERE IS A FANTASTIC, PRIVATE, SPACIOUS, OUTDOOR SHOWER!

Perfect Getaway by Hood Canal with Excellent Host and Stunning Views
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin by Hood Canal! The place has so much character, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the deck provided the perfect spot to relax and watch the tides come and go. Randy is a fantastic host who communicated with us promptly and clearly. He even offered us the use of his kayak, though we didn't get to use it because the water was a bit too choppy. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

House on the water
We spent Thanksgiving weekend in the house. I couldn’t believe how close the water came to the decking. House was well furnished and kitchen well stocked. We brought all the food but there is a Qfc and safeway in Belfair. Great spot to get away from it all.

This is a great little place that is right on the water. The views are amazing and you couldn’t ask for better access to enjoying the sound. Having access to the SUPs and kayaks was also a nice added touch. Great communication with the owner as well. All in all, a great stay!

Perfect Family Getaway
We had a lovely vacation at Tide's End. The property was perfect for our family with elementary-aged kids. We all had a blast in the water and enjoyed almost every daylight moment on the deck. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the house was very clean. And the outdoor shower is amazing! I appreciated the owner's detailed welcome instructions and thoughtful texts. We felt very welcomed and prepared for everything. There is not much I would change about our trip. We brought a few of our own games and puzzles, which I recommend bringing for a rainy day. My only advice for travelers: Bring band aids! Everyone in our family had an encounter with a sharp oyster shell -- a very PNW souvenir.

Waterfront and Charm
It was very interesting and fun to watch the tide come in and go out. We used both paddle boards and kayaks and appreciated that life vests were available too. Our grandkids got a kick out of the many little crabs scurrying around the water’s edge and the handful of beautiful starfish enjoying the warm sun. We found it very clean and tidy, we liked the fun nautical décor, and comfy furniture. It has a well-stocked kitchen with a large pantry that came in handy. The beds are comfy with nice sheets and our grandkids enjoyed the bunk beds. There’s plenty of towels including lots of beach towels. The patio deck offers beautiful views and has great furniture to relax and enjoy each other, it’s completely safe and enclosed for small children and our little dog. We used the lower patio to BBQ and enjoyed gathering around the nice seating in the evening with a glass of wine. There is plenty of hiking and sightseeing nearby. Randy is a responsive, wonderful host.

Beautiful October
Great location, the patio is what sells this place. Great selection in kitchen of pans & pots, nice plates for cooking in. Full closet of towels for indoors & outdoors. Clean sheets/bedding & comfortable beds and sleeping arrangements. A couple of suggestions that would make it better/cozier for the fall/winter months when you can't spend all the time on the patio. Throw blankets on the couches. Games/puzzles for indoor activities. Cleaning could have been more thorough and kitchen needs organizing and maybe getting rid of some the older things & replacing with new. Also would suggest some information on the local area- restaurants, hikes, family friendly, kid friendly, adult only, etc. Instructions for remote (volume on TV would not cooperate) would go from MUTE to very loud.

Perfect place for us to gather our family for Thanksgiving.
Tide's End Beach House was a great home for the 7 of us to spend Thanksgiving. The house itself was literally a step away from the water's edge, which provided beautiful views from outside on the deck as well as from inside the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were super comfy too. Randy was a wonderful host and very attentive to any questions we had about the property and surrounding area. We would love to return again!

Spectacular experience
The location is perfect! It has beautiful sunrises and sunsets right on the water. Every day, we spent hours on the beach front deck with our morning coffees and afternoon cocktails. This spacious cottage was very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed as if it were our own home. The owner, Randy, must have put a lot of time and care into this place. We will come back here again!
