The cabin was gorgeous and well maintained. If you want to be high on the mountain, this is your place, there is only 1 row of houses closer to the Summit. Gorgeous view. Ensure that every last bit of food you may bring is removed from your car. We had a large Black Bear stroll by our car within 30 minutes of arrival. The only issues with the location are not the owners fault, the roads leading to it are often "2 lane roads" that are one way with blind curves and blind peaks to the hills leading up to the cabin. The driveway to the cab is steep and then from the driveway to the front door is a fairly steep hill followed by stairs. (That kept a barrier from the bear on the driveway) But made it difficult to get in if you have physical limitations.
However, the property manager is very responsive to inquiries and comes across very professional and personable.again a very nice cabin that is well kept.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
The property was in a lovely secluded area. Fairly convenient to downtown Gatlinburg.
Pros: Overall great experience. The cabin was as explained and nice. The king bed was very comfortable and plenty of room on the pull out couch for the kids. The price was very fair. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg and a beautiful drive through the mountains.
Cons: most of the window treatments/blinds were broken and the access to the cabin was a little challenging. Totally fine for us since we have a newer truck and 4x4 if needed, but during rain the grade is quite steep and my wife was not able to drive to the cabin without me. Very cool though as long as you're comfortable driving a little out of your element.

Everything was great.
Only problem we had was no washcloths or trash bags. Outside trash was not emptied but overall it was a great time.

Nice little cottage!
A neat little cottage in the mountains that gets you away from the touristy aspect of Gatlinburg. The cottage was very clean, easy to access, everything worked and the owner was very responsive to all of our questions. Would rent from again!
