The home is a wonderful place to relax while still being close to everything. It has 3 bedrooms and a large loft. There are two full baths and a laundry area. The home has large porches and a downstairs patio. An outdoor shed and pier for the renters to use are on the property. The yard is large to allow for plenty of parking. The home is perfect for a family, a group of hunters or couples. It is across from the Outer Banks and a short ride to Cape Lookout. This location would also be great for wedding venues or as a reception, please contact us for further details

Had a great stay!!! Beautiful home with a beautiful view! I loved sitting on the back porch watching my boys fish and chase crabs around the yard can’t wait to come back
The property isn’t near all the tourist trap areas, which is what I prefer. It’s a short drive to a beach, maybe 45 minutes to Morehead city. The view off from the deck is definitely worth the drive.
This is the third year we have stayed in this property and we have it booked for next year. It is clean and well stocked with everything we need. The full moon over the sound is incredible.
The back porch is our favorite feature of the house, sitting out there watching all the bird life, the bunnies in the yard, just enjoying the peace and quiet.
Relaxing and welcoming stay did not disappoint. Even with rainy weather we could enjoy the view. Owner was excellent to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs.
The property was as described, clean, and well provisioned. The view from the porch is spectacular. I took a group of employees down for a fishing trip and this was the perfect base for a great week of fishing. We had a blast and plan to go back next year.
This home was just what we needed to come back to after a long day of duck hunting in Cedar Island. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it has plenty of room. The property manager was excellent to work with as well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in the Cedar Island area.
The house was a great location, stocked with what we needed, and easy to clean up at checkout. I had a question upon arrival and it was quickly answered.
Highlights of this property: Great back porch overlooking the marsh and waterway. Comfy beds. Great layout. easy check in and check out process. So quiet and restful. Great bird watching. Be prepared to drive 30 minutes to restaurants.
Men’s fishing trip. This was a great spot to hang out with a group of guys for a flounder fishing trip. Great views from the back porch, convenient to several boat launches. Everything we needed for half a dozen guys to fellowship, fish, and just generally hang out and have a good time. Definitely would stay here again. We stayed last year in a similar house from the same folks,, it was great also.
This is the 3rd time we've been here and loved every stay. The back porch overlooking the marsh and sound is the best. We love watching the birds and wildlife from the porch and eating meals there. There's usually a breeze that keeps the insects at bay. The nearness of the boat ramp at Salter Creek is another bonus and the beach at Cedar Island is a wonderful place to go and not be surrounded by other folks. It's a good place to go to relax.
We wanted someplace to go where we could rest and relax. This was perfect. We brought all our food because we didn't want to go out at all. The kitchen could use a few more items like baking dishes, tops that fit the pots, etc. Towel racks in the bathrooms would be a great addition as well. There were a few dust bunnies around, but overall it was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was spacious and clean. We walked in and were so happy with the open concept and good size rooms. The dock is just off the back yard where we had fun catching blue claws, several of which were keepers and good eating. Plenty of baitfish to catch just no luck fishing off the dock. The location was terrific, we were looking for a quiet location but close enough to our adventures. Beaufort and Cedar Island Resort are a quick ride from this home. Parking under the house and covered deck upstairs was ideal for some rain we had.
