Welcome to Papakea Beach Resort! This DIRECT OCEANFRONT ground floor, newly remodeled condo has everything you would need for an amazing vacation!

Kick off your shoes at the front door and take in the spectacular oceanfront views from this corner condo. Walk right off your private lanai to feel the grass beneath your feet. Take a stroll across the bridge, that is located just to your left and you will find a small adjacent beach area. Depending on the time of year the beach area will change in size. But, not to worry the start of North Ka'anapali Beach is just a short walk away and from here you could walk all the way to Whaler's Village if your heart desires!

This newly remodeled condo has all new beautiful furnishings! This fully functional kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. You will also find the cabinets well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils to help make cooking a breeze! The bedroom provides a comfortable KING size bed, a 40" Flat screen TV and plenty of room for your belongings. If additional sleeping arrangements are needed, there is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living area. The living room area provides seating for up to 4 guests, a 55 in flat screen smart tv, along with a dining room table. Other features include a washer and dryer inside the hallway closet and a split air conditioner system with 2 air handlers, one in the living area and one in the bedroom! If you prefer not to use the air conditioner, there are ceiling fans throughout the condo.

Papakea also provides WiFi and basic cable . You will also find misc beach gear such as beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and coolers for your day trips to the beach!

Papakea Resort is a four story, oceanfront, condominium complex and is situated on 12 tropical acres with palm trees, bamboo, freshwater Koi ponds, fragrant tropical flowers and Tiki Torches illuminating the walkways during the evenings. In addition to the beautiful grounds, Papakea provides the use of 2 swimming pools (Lanai pool is heated), 2 large Jacuzzi's, multiple gas BBQ's located by the pool areas, 2 meticulously groomed putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lighted tennis courts! There is a friendly on-site concierge located in the lobby who can arrange island activities such as luaus, whale watching tours in season, sailing, snorkeling trips, golf, biking down the volcano, and more. Papakea does charge a daily resort fee of $25.00, this includes parking for one vehicle.

This property is located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua. If you would like to stick closer to home, you can walk or take a quick drive to Whalers Shopping Village in Kaanapali. Your are also within walking distance to the grocery store, the popular Farmers Market, Fish Market, and much more!

Fantastic property and location

This property is absolutely amazing! The location, within the resort, is probably the best. We watched whales EVERYDAY from the living room. The unit is very quite so one can get peaceful sleep at night. We really appreciated that it was very well stocked; our kids took full advantage of snorkel, boogie board and golf clubs on a daily basis :). Aside from whales, we saw fish and turtle in the water right in front of the unit (being that the unit is on the bottom floor is definitely a plus). Even the monk seals made an appearance on our last day. The resort itself is also well cared for. We never saw any trash or any unsightly things laying around. Very friendly resort staff. As with anything, there's always room for improvements. First, the unit doesn't have a door between the water closet/ shower and the sinks. This inconvenience was highly noted as only one person can use the bathroom at a time. Second, the resort pools are underwhelming. Very simple and small backyard type pools; no elements to draw you in. Third (and most annoying), the response time of the property manager is very disappointing. Responses to inquiries takes DAYS! In one occasion, I was completely ignored so had to reachout again. In conclusion, this was a fantastic experience with a short term rental for my family. I would rent this unit again if opportunity allows.

Great condo!

Beautiful oceanfront condo. You can just sit in the lanai and watch the sunset and hear the waves. Close to everything. Condo is very nice, clean, very well stocked and so many extras. The condo has great modern updates. Just bring your swimsuits! Resort is well maintained, has many amenities, and activities. Checking in/out was a breeze. We would definitely stay at this condo again.

Perfect Spot

This condo was perfect for the two of us. Everything we could have possibly needed was supplied (except laundry detergent which we picked up at Times Market). We appreciated having an ice maker, and also the large bathroom counter with 2 sinks. The location is perfect; walking distance to the market, various restaurants, food trucks, and a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina. We hope to stay here again.

Amazing Condo

Stayed at the Papakea Resort December 3rd thru the 10th. Unit L-101was spectacular, location is ground floor and ocean front. Check in was fast and parking was steps from the unit. Hands down the best location on the entire Papakea property. Condo was beyond expectations and had everything you could ever need. Thank you condo owners and Bree for your prompt communication’s and directions. We will definitely be returning for future vacations! Mahaol.

Perfect Rental and Location

Listen to the waves crash

This condo sits right at the water, and the sound of the waves greets you through your stay. Papakea isn’t the fanciest resort, or the newest, but it is well maintained and the location is really hard to beat. The condo is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great place to stay for couples, or even a small family with use of the sleeper sofa. We’re glad we chose to stay here and you will be too.

This property was everything we expected and more! We will for sure be staying here again! The unit was fully stocked for our week long stay. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Best ocean view, quiet property in a great location!

We loved this place for our Anniversary. The ground floor ocean view is to die for. Loved the location, close to lahaina but away from the hustle..very peaceful beautiful property. Will only stay here in L101 if we're ever in Maui again.

Napili-Honokowai is a real gem

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Napili-Honokawai! I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that all the details in making this spot terrific have been well thought out. It’s stocked with supplies. Too hot? It has Air conditioning (a unit in each room) and plenty of fans tucked away in the closet. Making a scrumptious meal? It has lots of plates and utensils, along with pots / pans, blenders, etc for sharing a meal with loved ones. The pullout couch is even comfortable for sleeping! The location is perfect. As a family, we especially enjoyed it as grass is out front for playing / picnics and the beach is <100 yards away. We enjoyed the complex in general what with two pools, pickleball/tennis courts, putting greens and a lovely boardwalk that heads south along the coast just a quick walk away. Again, place was well stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, putters, pickleball paddles and tennis racket. Also, it was absolutely lovely working with the the rental manager, Bree. She was quick to respond and the place was immaculately clean upon arrival. In the case of Napili-Honokowai, the condo IS the vacation.

Excellent condo!

We stay in a VRBO property usually twice a year and this is by far the best property we have ever stayed at. The extra items available for use were extremely helpful. For example four different sizes of coolers, a hair dryer (that’s good quality), a blender, nutri bullet, cutting boards, good knives, good quality silverware and cooking utensils, 2 nice back pack beach chairs, several high quality beach towels and so much more. The bed was great, the furniture was clean, the shower was amazing, the towels were good quality. Bree was super friendly and helpful. I could go on and on. The very best part though was the absolutely amazing beauty right out the sliding glass doors. I loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunset. The day we left there was a rainbow right outside the door. You can not go wrong renting this property. I hope to be back soon!!

Beautiful place to stay

Condo was well stocked with everything you need to enjoy Maui. Coolers , beech chairs , boogie boards. Very clean. Wonderful sunsets every evening from your patio. I would highly recommend this condo for couples.

Perfect for us

My first time getting a walk out and it was perfect for us. I loved sitting on the patio with my juice int he morning and a cocktail in the evenings just watching the water. The bed was extremely comfy (and we are super picky about the bed) and having 2 a/c units was a huge plus. Another family of our group only had one a/c and their unit was not as comfortable as ours. We only had to use the living room one in the later afternoon for a little while and the bedroom overnight. I expected us to use them more being in August but the unit stayed very comfortable with little use of them. The kitchen had everything we needed and we had cooked for others with plenty of space. It was a fabulous time and we are already planning a return trip. THanks so much for everything.

Fantastic Location

The resort is a fantastic spot for families to stay. Much easier to get to your room than the big resorts. The unit itself was perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen was fabulous and stocked with ample cookware and necessities for cooking. The view from the kitchen and living room is awesome. So great in fact that we did not eat one dinner out! The unit was extremely clean and well taken care of. Bree provided prompt and detailed information regarding all details. We will for sure stay in L101 when we return to Maui!

Great vacation property with a view to die for

This is easily one of the best vacation rental properties I've ever stayed at. Exactly as the description said. Corner plot, ground floor, you could access the sea anytime. Walk out on the back patio and sit on the lush green grass for hours, amazing sunset views right from the couch, enjoy a stroll at night and gaze at the stars. The beach was right next to us. This was our first time on the island with our 8mo old in tow, and all of us really enjoyed our stay. This unit was well stocked with basics such as oil/condiments and kitchenware. Very happy with the amenities and will definitely be back. Mahalo
