The Seashell - Updated OCEANFRONT home away from home!

Ocean front cozy home with stunning white water ocean views and invigorating ocean breezes. Nestled in the heart of Pacific Beach, 30 seconds from the famous Pacific Beach Boardwalk and walking distance to the lively Garnet Avenue where you can enjoy a variety of delicious food, pubs and clubs. Centrally located in San Diego, this beachfront condo is close to Downtown San Diego, The San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Cove, Seaworld, Belmont Amusement Park and the Crystal Pier. The giant wall of glass windows bring the outside in. When the blinds are up it transforms the living spaces into private balconies over looking the Pacific Ocean. Please come and enjoy the panoramic views.

Beautiful one bedroom one bath with lots of room to spread out. Over 800 sq. feet of oceanfront bliss! We recently added new furniture including; a large leather sectional sofa, new dresser and night stand, new dining table, chairs, and remote controlled ceiling fans in each room, plus new beds! We also updated the bathroom and floors. Good luck leaving!

I will be available by phone and email at any time. The best times to communicate with me are in the afternoon and evenings, Pacific time. I look forward to helping you enjoy your stay to the fullest!

My home is very easy to access. You will enter through a lobby and collect your key at the lock boxes. There is a parking spot for you in the garage. The pool, spa and rooftop terrace are shared.

Pacific Beach has everything you want. Whether you prefer to spend your time with your family at the beach in peace and quiet or hanging out late with your friends at night there's always something to do. The neighborhood is very safe, there is constant police on patrol. If its peace you are looking for, avoid garnet ave and mission blvd between 10pm and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. If it's a party, you will find it on those streets in full swing on Friday and Saturday. Also, don't miss Taco Tuesday which is celebrated everywhere in Pacific Beach. No matter what your style is, there's something for you here in Sunny San Diego!

Wanna get around? Nearby are bike rentals, scooter rentals like Bird and Lime, and taxis. But my favorite way of transportation in San Diego is Uber or Lyft. I have them both downloaded and check to see which gives me the best deal for a quick trip. Of course, you can always rent a car and use your included parking spot. Just don't forget to avoid traffic between 3pm to 6pm!

Oh what a view!
The sound of the ocean combined with the views were completely relaxing. The walk to the beach was extremely short and easy. This is our second stay. When we knew that we were returning to San Diego, we had had the perfect stay here the first time and we were happy that it was available for this trip.

The views of the ocean were great. The place definitely needs some upkeep, duct tape covering up holes in the bathroom,dust everywhere. Pictures in photos are a bit deceiving. The living room chair was disgusting. seems to be very outdated. In need of major renovations of bathroom.

Great view. Great location. Loved walking along the beach and down to the pier. Watching the surfers. My only complaint was that the check in process did not go smoothly. Our email from Vrbo with the check in information said our keys were in lockbox 202 and there wasn’t a lockbox identified by that number. I called the property manager and left a phone message and he never got back to me. The person at the front desk was new and didn’t have an answer but he called his manager and from that call we learned that our lockbox was one of four that began with the letter G. I entered the access code into the G lockboxes until I found the one that opened. Looking back it was kind of a minor issue but at the time it was frustrating. I hope the lockbox information gets corrected for future renters. I would still give the property 5 stars overall and definitely rent it again.

I stayed here with 2 friends and it was fabulous. Perfect view of the ocean and surfers every morning. So cool! It is in the perfect location also, you can walk to everything and the boardwalk is right in front of the condo. Condo had everything we needed & it was clean!

3 of us stayed for a few days. Amazing views from balcony overlooking the ocean. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Bring your own coffee. Coffee maker on site. Right on boardwalk and real close to restaurants and shops.

Location was amazing! Walking distance to everything you need. If not within walking distance most of the places we wanted to see were a 20 minute drive. Was great having our own parking space. Place could have been a little cleaner. The *brand new* furniture as stated in description was very worn with recliners that didn’t work. The lack of screens on the windows was a little strange. Overall we had a great experience and the view was unlike any other!

We enjoyed our stay at this small condo. The location is great, the unit was cozy and clean, the owner is easy to deal with. I strongly recommend that the owner provide a booklet for information and guides(internet password, tv and dining light function, etc.)

Location and views are TOTALLY worth it!
I love staying at Capri by the Sea, the views and the location is absolutely perfect! The suite is has everything that you need. The owner is incredibly quick to respond with questions. He was very prompt and came to help right away. The Pros: * Very comfortable bed and the flexibility of having a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double on the bottom. Very good for kids! * Had everything that one will need, the bedroom closet is stocked with extra fans, beach towels, etc... * Incredibly quiet * Ceiling fans in the bedroom! Coming from AZ, this one is huge since I always need to have the fan going! The only Cons that I noticed were: * There is no screen door, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving the door open over night. Not that the area isn't safe, but it was more for what bugs or maybe a bird, that could fly in :) * I did notice dust bunnies on the ceiling in the bedroom and along the closet door Overall great stay and LOVE the spot! :)

BEACHFRONT SLICE OF PARADISE!!!
You can't get any closer to the boardwalk, the sand, the waves, the surfers, and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean than this hidden treasure! We were simply mesmerized our entire stay! Right on the beach, this condo offers beautiful sunsets, all the amenities you could ask for - including a most comfortable king size bed, reclining sectional leather sofa, reclining chair, beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards! All kitchen gadgets, small appliances, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and even a dishwasher were available. Matthew was always available to answer our questions, large or small. We found a small grocery store nearby name Geldens (sp) with the BEST espresso in town! (That's saying a lot being that we're from the Pacific Northwest where there's an espresso stand on almost every corner!) All this to say... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED when you stay in this little "Slice of Paradise!!!" We will be back one day!

Location! Location! Location!
It's tough to find a better spot in San Diego! The views alone are worth it! Not to mention you're steps from the beach as well as a short walk from all the restaurants and fun of Pacific Beach. The condo itself is modern, clean and beautifully decorated to make you feel like you're truly on vacation without a care in the world. Host was available and immediately responded to any questions. The sound of the waves right outside just fills the air with calm relaxation. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

Well maintained and updated condo with a beautiful view
Perfect beach getaway. View is fantastic. The crash of the waves resounding through the place when you crack the sliding door. Place is well maintained, furniture and appliances are updated. Perfect place for a solo couple or one with small kids (1 bedroom.) Great having your own gated parking spot as the area streets are usually filled up. Highly recommend!
