Come, enjoy friendly Green Valley and a great view of the Santa Rita Mtns.

The townhouse is located on the 13th fairway at the Springs at Santa Rita with an unobstructed view of the Santa Rita Mountains to the east.

Guests have access to 13 Green Valley Recreation facilities including arts & crafts, painting & drawing, games, dance & music, health & fitness plus classes on a variety of topics, day trips and overnights. The facility at "The Springs", besides the Olympic size pool and gym, include a clay studio and a dedicated area for drawing and painting. There is also a very active photography club at "The Springs" with computers, editing software, classes, and equipment for matting and framing. Golf is also quite popular with 7 courses just a short drive from "The Springs".

Short day trips include the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park Titan Missile Museum, Pima Air Museum, Tubac Art community, Tumacacori National Histoical Park, Madera Canyon, Colossal Cave, and Kartchner Caverns State Park. Longer day trips visit Fort Huachucha (US Army), Chiricahua National monument, and Nogales a town straddling the US-Mexican border.

There is definitely no shortage of interesting activities to enjoy in southern Arizona.

Abundant Morning Sun

The property looks nice in the listing but it’s even better in person! The neighborhood has walking trails that connect to the Anza Trail and there is a recreation center with a pool and gym. The morning sun comes in through a wall of windows and warms the living room during chilly desert mornings. On warmer days, you can enjoy the sunshine on the patio. We had family stay with us during Christmas week and they enjoyed the privacy of their own bedroom and bath.

Springtime in Green Valley

The townhouse is very nicely decorated and has everything you’d need for your stay. There is a great view over the golf course to the Santa Rita mountains. The owners are very easy to work with. I highly recommend this townhouse.

Perfect location for Tucson,golf, or Mexico.

Considering the changes because of Covid, everything went extremely well. The property was everything we thought it would be and more. It was a really great month.

Best sunrise ever

This is a lovely condo and watching the sunrise over the Santa Rita Mountains is a beautiful way to start the day. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to return to the area. We were here with a dog and found many great places to walk.

Gorgeous view

Very comfortable home with a great view of the Santa Rita mountains. We loved listening to the coyotes and watching the roadrunners. The location on the golf course and a view of the desert and Pecan trees made the townhouse seem very private. The rec center is two blocks away with a huge swimming pool, jacuzzi, and exercise room (when safe to use due to covid ). The owner, Dan, is very responsive to any issues or concerns. This is a very friendly and quiet neighborhood!

A great place to stay !

I would recommend this property very highly. It was everything as described in the listing. The Mountain View’s were incredible. The owner was very responsive. You will enjoy it’s convenient location to many things in the Green Valley / Tucson area.

What a view!

You couldn’t ask for a stay with a better view. Spent A LOT of time on the brick patio right on the golf course with mountain views. The property is so clean and lovely decorated. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars all around is the beds. Advertised as a king in the master. It is not and it is not very comfortable as well. Second bedroom bed is really no better. One more thing. Be aware that the pool and facilities are an extra fee. Run by Green Valley Recreation the fee for pool use was a little steep.

Fantastic Experience

The property was clean, beautiful, well-stocked with everything needed. This was a 5 star experience. The view of the Santa Rita mountains from the back patio was spectacular. Could not have been more pleased!

Wonderful place to stay in Green Valley!

Our stay was for November and December of 2018. The patio home was very well maintained and furnished. It is on the 13th hole of a beautiful golf course, and has a fantastic view of the Santa Rita mountains. Within walking distance is a recreation center with an outdoor pool and other amenities. The out-of-state owners were very considerate and easy to correspond with. We would definitely rent this place again!

We live in the small coastal town of Homer Alaska. My wife and I are both retired and although Alaska is a beautiful place the cold dark winters are not as much fun as they used to be. Hence Arizona; we have spent the past several winters in the Tucson area. We have really come to enjoy the Green Valley area and finally bought a townhouse in the Springs at Santa Rita. We will now be spending our winters here in the "Springs", but would love to share the amenities of the "Springs" and all of southern Arizona with others.

My wife, Pat, trains dogs in the sport of nose work where dogs learn to identify and find particular odors. I like to ride my bicycle and am an avid photographer.

We both love to travel and we have visited a number of countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and South America. But there are still several places on our "to do" list. - Australia?!

Why they chose this property

The townhouse was immaculately maintained by the previous owners and we intend to do likewise. But the view is what really gabs you! The view across the 14th fairway and over the pecan trees to the Santa Rita mountains is pretty special and can be spectacular at sunrise.

What makes this property unique

Green Valley Recreation, Inc has 13 facilities all within about 5 miles of the "Springs". They offer a wide variety of activities, classes, and tours. The facility at the "Springs" has an Olympic size pool, a fitness center, studios for clay/sculpture and drawing/painting, and a very active photography club complete with computers and editing software and a matting/framing room.

For the golf enthusiast, there are 7 golf course in in Green Valley. All within a short driving distance of the "Springs"

For birders, Arizona offers great birding opportunities with a bird list of over 550 species. Spring and Fall migrations are particularly interesting in southeast Arizona when rare and vagrant species are sighted regularly.

Arizona is justifiably renowned for its sunrises and sunsets. The sunrises over the Santa Rita mountains can be spectacular and even the sunsets can occasionally cast a pink hue on the mountains.
