The townhouse is located on the 13th fairway at the Springs at Santa Rita with an unobstructed view of the Santa Rita Mountains to the east.
Guests have access to 13 Green Valley Recreation facilities including arts & crafts, painting & drawing, games, dance & music, health & fitness plus classes on a variety of topics, day trips and overnights. The facility at "The Springs", besides the Olympic size pool and gym, include a clay studio and a dedicated area for drawing and painting. There is also a very active photography club at "The Springs" with computers, editing software, classes, and equipment for matting and framing. Golf is also quite popular with 7 courses just a short drive from "The Springs".
Short day trips include the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park Titan Missile Museum, Pima Air Museum, Tubac Art community, Tumacacori National Histoical Park, Madera Canyon, Colossal Cave, and Kartchner Caverns State Park. Longer day trips visit Fort Huachucha (US Army), Chiricahua National monument, and Nogales a town straddling the US-Mexican border.
There is definitely no shortage of interesting activities to enjoy in southern Arizona.
