This was the perfect spot for a family of 4 to 6 to spend in beavers bend and Hochatown. This cabin was the perfect size and very clean. The fire put and hot tub were the cherry on top to the perfect ending of each day. There was plenty of activities for all in broken bow and hochatown. The property manager was responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back. :)
This cabin is in the top 3 we have stayed in at Beavers Bend/Broken Bow. The lot is spacious, perfect for parking a boat and a couple of cars. The firepit was a nice distance from the house and we spent every night sitting in the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The cabin was stocked with quality dishes, plenty of flatware, and more utensils/pots & pans options than most cabins I've seen. Loved the choice of decor, also high quality, as well as the layout. My only complaints/disappointments with the stay were that they didn't provide paper towels in the kitchen or handsoap in bathrooms, both are necessities for a 3 night stay w/ kids and lots of cooking. And, sadly, the bedroom we stayed in w/ a queen bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on....we had to purchase a $60 tempurpedic mattress pad to avoid aching shoulders, necks and backs for the remainder of our stay. If the owners would invest in a better mattress, I would love to stay at the cabin again, but this would deter me from any future stays because of how uncomfortable it was. Our children stayed in the bunk room and it was perfect for two boys, the top bunk has a nice rail (which was a necessity to make me feel comfortable with having my 5 year old sleep there). My last comment would be that the cleaning crew could have swept/vacuumed a bit better prior to our stay, some previous guest must have had a large dog that shed a lot in the cabin because we found large hair clumps all weekend. All in all, it is a beautiful home and was a fantastic weekend, with a few tweaks I would've given it 5 stars.
This was the fourth different place we rented in Beavers Bend and the best by far!! The cabin has everything. Beautiful decor, tons of outdoor seating and the extra touches. There is plenty to do: cornhole, foosball, shuffle board, chess, large size Connect Four, large outdoor Jenga. We have already recommended this place to our friends!!
The cabin was just as described and we had plenty of room for the four of us and our 2 dogs. The hot tub was great, however did have a bit of a mildew odor. We added the chlorine that was provided and let the jets run a while as directed. The fire pit was enjoyable as well, however for the price I felt like some wood could have been provided. Otherwise we enjoyed the cabin and had most everything we needed during our stay.
The cabin is just like the pictures shown but the pictures don't do it justice. It was an absolutely beautiful cabin. It's in a neighborhood but you don't feel like you're exposed. It has good privacy with the trees from the neighbors and the road. It is ridiculously close to Beavers Bend State Park and close to Hochatown for dining options. And has a fire ring, horseshoe pits, hammock, and porch swing in addition to several more seating options on the porch. It was easy to park by the back door for loading and unloading. The hot tub was at the end of the porch and was nice and hot and lovely at the end of a hiking day. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy to prepare meals daily. The TV had Roku. It has one king bed with bathroom. One queen bed with bathroom that can be accessed from the bedroom or hallway. And another room next to the queen bed with bunk beds. The living Room furniture was very comfortable. The cabin was all one level. No step from the gravel drive to the porch. One bathroom has almost a walk in shower. The floors are concrete. These all make the cabin more accessible for those with mobility concerns. The Queen bed was much too firm for me and I ended up sleeping on the couch after a couple of nights.
This cabin was so nice! Great location, Great amenities, very clean.
Does only sleep 4 adults comfortably, the bunk beds are definitely for kids only. But will definitely go back!
