About this property

Lake Winnebago Waterfront Private Resort / Home

Enjoy a newer house (Built 2018) on Lake Winnebago southeast of Oshkosh/EAA grounds by approx. 6 miles with its own Y shaped island that creates a protected cove to park your sea plane. Two docks to tie up your boat or launch it right on the property. Public boat launch nearby.
Swim in a small private sandy bay, fish from the property or enjoy the entire waters of Lake Winnebago. Use our stand up paddle boards, sunfish sailboat or kayak to explore the bay. Entertain your family or co-workers on the screened porch or 2nd story deck as brats and smash burgers are grilled on the Blackstone. In the evening, roast marshmallows by a fire or relax in a hammock or on a porch swing. Heat up in the sauna followed by a cool swim and repeat! Fall asleep completely relaxed to the waves gently lapping at the shore and awake to sea gulls and a vibrant sunrise.
The winter brings ice fishing, snowmobiling, sturgeon spearing, ice skating and cross country skiing on the lake.
King, two queen, and one full-size beds along with two futons. Accommodations can be made for additional sleeping requirements. Pet friendly.

Captivating Lake View

This was our second stay in this beautiful lakeside house while attending EAA. This charming home sits on Lake Winnebago - it is newly renovated, spacious and clean. For those attending EAA it is close to the Seaplane Base - a bus ride away from Wittman Regional Airport. The owners have taken great care to provide a comfortable space for guests. Guests can sit by the lake and enjoy the view or take a short drive to the City of Oshkosh where we enjoyed the Paine Art Center and Gardens, many restaurants and chocolate and cheese shops. There is nothing we can list in a “con” category. The homeowners are easily accessible for questions and provided for all our needs. They left open their pantry for us to use during our stay as well as sports equipment for the Lake. We highly recommend this home for your next trip to Oshkosh.

Truly Amazing Home

Jim's house was a wonderful experience and we hugely enjoyed our stay here. The house itself was amazing - right on the water - super clean and recently updated. Loved it! Jim was an excellent host - he was super responsive to questions, gave great advice about local attractions, and was very understanding of our COVID delayed weird check-in. Could not have been better - excited to secure this house for next years AirVenture!

Great choice!

Whether you are looking for a quiet place to rest, or a fun place to play at the water's edge, I think you will enjoy your stay at this property. It is a new residence that is well maintained yet comfortable. There is some algae bloom on the lake at times, but the condition can change by the hour or the day; your patience will be rewarded. We enjoyed being in and on the lake. The owners are also very approachable and generous with their time/suggestions to help you enjoy your stay.
