Our place is just enough out in the country to be totally private, peaceful and secluded yet close enough to town, restaurants, shopping and community to be ...well in our opinion...just perfect.

Outdoor living is at its best here at the Black Canyon Retreat. Bordered by the Sonoran Desert alongside beautiful south facing mountains and huge iconic Saguaro cactus, you literally feel the peace and quiet here. Rest in the hammock listening to the sounds of birds singing and let your stress melt away. Then enjoy the ultimate relaxation with a refreshing swim in the salt water pebble teck pool...optional heating available April thru October. We supply pool toys, loungers and towels. We've also got a private bathroom for you outdoors poolside. Kick up the party by connecting with our outdoor Bluetooth speaker and play your favorite vacation music. Then fire up the poolside BBQ on the spacious outdoor gas grill. We've got all the BBQ utensils and equipment you'll need. Then serve your beverages from the poolside tiki bar and soak up the Arizona sunshine in the comfortable lounge chairs.

In the spacious yard you can practice your putting skills on our three-hole putting green.

By evening time you'll be thrilled with the gorgeous desert sunsets of spectacular colors. On a cool night light a fire in the fire pit and gaze up at all the stars in the desert sky at night..since we are outside of the city the night sky is amazing. This is the finest vacation rental in the area.

Relax and unwind indoors in our comfortable living room with brand new sectional sofa and smart TV. Beautifully decorated in southwestern style yet modern and completely outfitted with all brand new furniture, appliances, washer and dryer, AC/heater, ceiling fans in every room, smart TV, and wifi included. Prepare your meals in the spacious newly remodeled kitchen with gorgeous countertops and all new appliances.

When it's time for bed you'll get a great night's sleep on luxurious memory foam beds with all new linens and pillows.

In the morning help yourself to the tea and K-cup coffee provided for you. We love to start our mornings enjoying the amazing views of the mountains and saguaro cactus from the front porch while we sip our morning coffee, listening to the sweet songs of all the native birds.

Adventure awaits you off the property as well! Simply walk out the front gate to the left and discover endless miles of hiking and off-roading trails. There are so many amazing hikes in the area. For even more adventure, drive a few minutes down the road to Arizona Outdoor Fun. They've got the most affordable off-road tour in Arizona, ATV/UTV rentals, and a private on-site shooting range with options ranging from full-auto machine guns to .50 caliber sniper rifles. This is the most adventurous tour Arizona has to offer!

Getting hungry? We've got fantastic restaurants nearby...the famous pies at Rock Springs Cafe is just 2 miles away, as well as Four Bees Cafe, Beni's Pizza, and Chilleen's On 17 (as seen on TV) all right here minutes from the house. Farther down the road you will find shopping and dining at the Anthem Outlet malls just 14 minutes South on Hwy 17. Or jump 30 minutes over to Lake Pleasant, 60 minutes to Sedona, 35 minutes to Spring Training Baseball, 40 minutes to Super Bowl, 50 minutes to Sprint Cup Nascar, and 2 ½ hours to the Grand Canyon.

After all that adventure, book a massage with the certified massage therapist in her office right next door. It doesn't get more convenient than that!

The two Bedrooms have
1 queen bed each with new super comfy Memory Foam mattresses and plenty of pillows with fine linens, ceiling fans, closets with hangers dresser drawers and windows with beautiful dessert views.
In the living room there is a twin hide-a-bed with a memory foam mattress to sleep one more. Extra pillows with fine linens and blankets also provided.

There are two bathrooms. One full bathroom indoor with combination tub/shower with new massage shower head, 2 full sets of new plush towels and travel size toiletries provided. Also robes provided are available for your comfort.
The second bathroom is a private outdoor half bathroom, with toilet, sink, mirror and hooks for changing and using while on the patio outside at the pool.

Mountain Views all around as this home is nestled in amongst local foothills. It is a private 1 acre, bordering state land.

If you're looking for adventure you will find it here at Black Canyon City. If you just want to get away from it all, this is your spot for peaceful quiet and private relaxation.
