Stayed here multiple occasions but different rooms. Amenities at location are great. Room was overall fine. However, bathroom curtains had mold and the unit was humid. No extra blankets, so make sure to bring your own. Guest services would not accommodate us with an additional fan.

Good place for the price
This condo was nice for the price! Located on the East End of PCB closer to St Andrews state park. It was clean and the furnishings were nice. There were a couple outlets that need repaired as they are loose in the wall, the stand alone shower water pressure was a little low and the shower curtain wasn’t the best but overall very happy with the condo and the building! Would definitely stay again!

When we got there there was no one at the guard shack to get our parking pass at 830pm. We love the location. The entry code was too long and you had to enter it 3 or 4 times for it to work. There was mold in the master bathroom and all over the shower curtain. Dust caked on everything. I am usually not a complainer and I never messaged Vacasa to let them know bc I didn’t want it to ruin our trip. I pay a hefty cleaning fee so I expect a clean non dusty mold less stay. Otherwise it was great!

Good and not good
Views were beautiful! Loved the location as it wasnt as busy as other areas, the fireworks on the beach were phenomenal and the ac worked. There was also live music almost daily down at the pool which was super fun! Pool was perfect way to hang out and listen and chill with the restaurant/bar right there to enjoy. Especially on the red flag days. Although there are definitely some issues that need to be updated we really did enjoy the vacation and would go back.

Clean and comfortable condo
This condo was clean and comfortable and in a great location. The property was great, pools were nice and close to beach. View from balcony was great. The condo was nice but definitely nothing fancy. The furnishings were a bit worn looking and there were dust bunnies on ceiling and lampshades. The property management were easy to deal with and check in and out was easy. Overall very enjoyable vacation.

Constant problems. Rarely talked with a person on property. Wrote a long letter about the condition it was in and I had to wash and clean everything. Filthy.

Nothing like the picture
unit 1102- very outdated and needs much maintenance. slip covers on sofa, thermostat hanging off the wall, kitchen faucet old drips and water runs out the back, moldy, always a musty smell, not plugs in drain, afraid could lose ring or something, bed squeaks when you get on or off the bed, no back piece on remote, stove top all over stayed hot when only using one burner, dirty rug upon arrival in living area, the cushions on the couch, when you sat on it sunk and you were then sitting on the frame, I would NEVER rent this unit until it is updated, repairs made, new furniture, etc... and on and on, and the mold and musty smell is gone! A reasonable expectation is there when you pay thousands of dollars for a vacation, and this was unbelievable that they are allowed to switch and bait with this unit - NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS. I don't have slip covers at home and I certain do not expect on vacation. We have stayed at the Dunes of Panama for 25+ years and ALL the others units we have stayed in were just lovely. The Dunes is a GREAT PLACE!

Worst condo ever
We have stayed at The Dune’s of Panama several times over the years & have never had any complaints, well until this time. As soon as we got our luggage in the condo our grand babies (3 & 5 years old) were just so excited to go the beach. So we immediately changed into our swimsuits, grabbed our towels, & went down to the beach. About 2 hours later we go back to the condo with intentions of taking a shower & going out to eat. I enter the code on the keypad & all I got was green signals, but the door will not open. So of course my husband just thinks I’m not doing it right, so he tries and same thing, green lights but the door will not open. I call customer service and the lady who answers tells me she’s not the property manager of our building, but she will send her an email and have her call me ASASP. I asked her when should I expect a call and she tells me she is not sure but she has marked the email as urgent. The property manager calls me back within 10 minutes. She tells me a couple of things to try and they don’t work. So she said she needed to call the lock guy, who is not on the property and he will call me, but she would gives a credit for our inconvenience. Now remember we are sitting outside on July 27th @ 4:30ish in the heat with a 3 & 5 year old. The lock guy calls and ask us to send him a picture of the lock because he was going to stop by Home Depot on his way to the condo to pick up a new lock, incase he couldn’t get this one fixed. The lock guy comes and it seems the battery was bad in the lock pad. So about 1.5 hours later we get into the condo. Oh yeah I haven’t seen a credit as of yet. Now let’s move on to the condo it’s self. (I have pictures to prove all my complaints) 1. There was black mold on the shower curtain in the master bathroom. 2. The baseboards in the master bathroom probably have not been cleaned in 10 years. 3. All the air vents had so much dust that they were almost complete blocked. 4. The condo needs to be painted, all the walls were nasty, lots or areas had drywall sparkle that wasn’t even been sanded down or painted. 5. In the 2nd bedroom (which is where the 3 & 5 year old was going to a sleep, but we didn’t feel safe for them to sleep in there) the plug-in outlet was broke in half exposing wires. 6. The headband in the 2nd bedroom was not attached to the bed or the wall. it was just propped up against the wall. 7. The hall bathroom wall at the shower had black mold at the bottom near the baseboards. 8. I just finished cutting up a watermelon and went to look for a bowl or some container to put it in, well I either had a bowl or a square top. There was no tops to any of the containers & the tops had to matching containers. So I had to use a cooking pot & lid to put the watermelon in. 9. This has got to be the one that blew by mind more then anything else, there where no forks!! Seriously the silverware trey had spoons & knifes & there was an empty spot that I’m guessing was for the forks. But wait I guess technically they had 2 kiddie forks that I found with the kiddie dishes. 10. The base track & the baseboards underneath the sliding glass door was literally covered in black dirt or mold. 11. The remote in the 2nd bedroom had no batteries and no back to it.

Great view
The view was great. The condo definitely needs repair. We had mildew in the bathroom. One of the electrical sockets was coming out of the wall. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved.

Just a few problems
Beautiful location. Condo needed some TLC. Water heater had a leak, but was fixed the first day. Dining table light does not work, clock on stand did not work. We bought batteries for the clock and the lights on the deck. No trash can in guest bathroom. Dryer lint piping needs looked at, there is lint all over the wall beside the dryer. Bathroom sinks do not have stoppers and I worried about dropping something down them.

Worst condo experience
List of problems reported and taken care of: -sand all over the living room rug (housekeeping came first thing the next morning with a vacuum) List of problems reported but NOT addressed: -no linens for the pull-out sofa bed -mold on the walls in both bathrooms -Thick dust on the ceiling, air vents, and closet door slats. -Hair, sand, and dirt on all the other rugs, along the walls, and behind doors. Any attempt to clean the floor was half-assed. -Stove was filthy with crumbs from previous users. Edges of drawers also had crumbs where it looked like the countertops had been wiped and the drawers caught the crumbs. -side table in queen bedroom has a sticky residue -dirty silverware -paint peeling in the shared bathroom There are no cleaning supplies in the condo other than a dirty broom and a dirty mop. Other issues while there I didn’t bother reporting because of the lack of response: -dryer packed full of lint so the filter doesn’t even go in all the way -burnt out lightbulb at the dining table -broken outdoor chair, broken dining stool -dirty linens on the king bed -walls very dirty, especially around the trash can in the kitchen -no bathroom trash can Overall aesthetic of the condo is terrible. The finish work of everything looks like it was done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Layer that with the obvious dirt and the place just felt grimy. A deep clean wouldn’t even fix this place, it needs remodeled. (Photos of issues were provided to Vacasa.) All previous experience with Vacasa has been shadowed by the stay. A company’s true customer service shows when there is an issue and I was greatly disappointed in the efforts to extinguish any of our concerns.

Super nice condo..bathroom being the exception
The condo was super nice and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The exception being the bathrooms. They are in desperate need of an update!! Overall we had a great time with no issues.

Not bad but needs a little work
This listing wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better VBRO experiences. When I booked this property in Jan, there were complaints that the stove burner was broken. This same burner was still broke at the end of April. We also had a situation where the cleaning crew wasn’t thorough and an unsafe item was left behind by a previous renter. Luckily it was my teen that found this item not a young child and we did get the item removed.
