nous avons passé une semaine idéale avec un point de vue imprenable sur la mer ; l'appartement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût ; il y a tous les équipements nécessaires et le propriétaire est très accueillant ; très bons souvenirs de notre séjour ; je le recommande ;
A beautiful appartment in a lovely location.
We really enjoyed our stay. The appartment is clean, bright and well laid out with everything you could need. The balcony was our favourite place and we shall miss sitting out overlooking the sea.
Cedric, thank you for being such a great host.

St Aubin sur mer - paradise by the sea!
An amazing villa by the sea, spared by the war, and completely updated. We basically had the whole 3rd floor, which included large bedroom, dining room and kitchen, wc and shower room. Very large. Nice spacious balcony overlooking the plage, for having a romantic meal or two. Everything you need to enjoy st. aubin sur mer and pretend you are a local. Great view of the ocean. Would totally recommend staying here.
Parking is about a 4 minute walk up the street. Not an issue and free. Just make sure to check your VRBO messages so you have the code to get in! (somehow i missed that...but cedric was very responsive and everything worked out).
Can't wait to come back.

A beautiful beach in the middle of Normandy and part of the Atlantic Wall/D Day!
We had a wonderful time in this antique property. The updated decor and the balcony had me sold over the internet, but you have to see it to feel how amazing it it. We played on the beach, toured the D Day sites, and ate fantastic Normandy food. We had breakfast and a few dinners of cheese, pate and bread at "home". There is a super market near by. It is on the beach promenade, so no cars, but there is free parking up the street. Cedric was quite helpful. The living room is large. Since there were only three of us, we left the king size, fold out bed open and there was plenty of room.

Relaxing holiday in a charming apartment
A very pretty town, very few shops, and restaurants. You really need a car to visit the area which is steeped in history. The apartment has been tastefully decorated and has a old world charm about it. It has everything you need for a great holiday. Cedric the owner was helpful and all our needs were met. We just needed a place to relax and chill and that's exactly what we had. 💓

Very nice flat in a beautiful art deco villa with a fantastic view to the sea from the balcony
Nice and well equipped flat in a very beautiful art deco villa - located directly by the sea in one of the most central regions of Normandy - all the important tourist locations can be reached in a more or less short drive - we went to Mont St. Michel, Giverny, Rouen, Bayeux, Etretat, Le Havre, Omaha Beach from there without any problems - also a nice starting point for bicycle tours - the owner Cedric war very nice and helpful - highly recommended !!!

Lovely location
The owner, Cedric, accommodated our arrival time and was exceptionally helpful with baggage. The flat, located right on the sea, was lovely and convenient to restaurants and a market. Just what we required at that time during our vacation.

Watch Sunrise AND Sunset Over the Ocean!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this 2nd floor unit (which those of use from the U.S. would consider the 3rd floor as they don't count the ground floor as the first). We had most of our breakfasts and dinners on the balcony, enjoying our front row seat to the ocean view below. The balcony was our favorite feature and really made our stay special. Drinks at sunset were the perfect cap to the long summer days.
This stay was the cap of over a month in France for us, so we were done eating out. Thankfully, the kitchen comes equipped with a stove (no oven), fridge and all the pots/pans/utensils needed to cook our meals. There was also a microwave and espresso machine. The kitchen is tight, but in this unit, that is not where you'll spend your time.
Downstairs there are several options for eating out in the very nearby area. There is a small local market, a pharmacy and a tourism office about a one-minute walk from the unit and a supermarket about 1-2 km away.
The bedroom has three single beds in it. Cedric pushed a couple together for us. The beds are FIRM and we did not try the pull-out bed in the living area.
We were able to view the unit above and below ours and they are equally nice, but with different features/appointments (such as the upstairs unit has no balcony, but two bedrooms, while the unit downstairs had a larger covered balcony). I recommend people look at these listings as well.
Overall, this home (built in 1901) is very warm and inviting, having been renovated and well decorated, while keeping an old world feel to it. Cedric was very helpful and a great host. We will most certainly be back with more of our family (hopefully in the near future).
