THE PROPERTY
4 bedrooms: 3 King Beds (2 are Master Suites) Bedroom 4: Built in twin bunks (sleeps 4) , 2nd floor family room has pull out couch 
Inside, natural light pours through the wall of windows, highlighting the crisp living space, gorgeous hardwood floors and shiplap walls.
The gourmet kitchen is every cook's dream, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and ample granite counter space. Open shelving, ice maker, farmers sink and gas stove, are just a few of the gourmet items.
The living room includes plush furniture and a flat-screen 75" TV. For outside dining or relaxing, there is plenty of outdoor seating and covered porches to choose from. For a backyard barbecue, fire up the gas grill, and enjoy the string lights!
In the evening, retreat to one of 2 master bedrooms (one has 60" TV!) or 2 guest bedrooms, each equipped with a flat-screen TV.  
Take a short stroll to the community swimming pool, complete with lounge chairs and outdoor dining tables with umbrellas. Just a short walk away is Blue Mountain Beach, where you can spend days with your toes in the sugar-white sand and enjoying all of the wonderful amenities.

A nice 30A getaway
Wonderful stay at Blue Mountain Beach. Property manager was incredibly responsive to questions about the property. Great location to the beach and very nice neighborhood. Access to neighborhood pool was wonderful. Outdoor shower was great but not fully private so unfortunately not able to get all sand off prior to entering residence. Agree with other reviewers that lack of blinds on the main floor was a bit uncomfortable in the evenings. The appointments for lounging were not the most comfortable (e.g. couches, chairs).

Our stay at Drift Away was absolutely amazing. Our family enjoyed the proximity of the property to beach, restaurants, and the whole Blue Mountain area. Clean, clean, clean! You cannot go wrong by choosing this property or area!

We had the best time at this property. The neighborhood is great and quiet. It is close to the beach and had plenty of space for our family. The kids/bunk room is perfect and the kitchen is extremely well equipped for cooking at home. The kids also loved the scavenger hunt they prepared. Rebecca was quick to respond with our internet question during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home, convenient to beach!
We loved our stay here. House had plenty of room, extremely cleans, lots of extras that were helpful like kitchen things, coffee maker, beach toys and chairs. The beds were comfortable and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms beautiful. Would definitely stay there again. We rented a golf cart and that made it easy to get all of our stuff to the beach. Redfish taco was an easy option for lunch when on the beach

Wonderful home in a great location. 5 min walk to the beach. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add shutters or some other window covering to the front of the home. It felt a little like a fishbowl at nighttime.

Paradise on 30A
We had two families staying at this property with a total of 10 people including preteens, teens and adults. Everyone absolutely loved the house and the location! The beach is a very walkable distance, and there are several restaurants and cafés very close by. We rented golf carts for three of our days and use them to cruise 30A and check out different shopping areas. We also took a day trip to Destin and highly recommend the sunset cruise on the tiki boats at Crab Island. The house was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The check in process with simple and we would definitely consider coming back!

Beautiful home and fantastic stay, but…
Pros: -Beautiful & spacious -Amazing master bedroom -Awesome ice maker -Alot of extra supplies for beach already provided. -good discounts provided by owners for nearby companies. -great outdoor shower -great communication -amazing shower in master -great appliances in kitchen -Sonos speaker in living room -really comfortable pillows and beds -able to store your stuff in garage during stay. Cons: -Single ac unit for 2 story - upstairs was a bit warm. -Door locking mechanisms are a bit confusing. -Too much trouble with the entry doors having to muscle them to close /lock. -advertise 5-10 minute walk to beach but it’s really about 15-20 minutes. (I may be a slow walker) - pictures show a cuisinart coffee maker but there’s a cheap black and decker instead. - back outdoor shower door doesn’t stay closed while in there. -unable to use onsite golf cart. -unable to bring own golf cart or trailer because owner stores their own golf cart onsite. -a lot of “to-do’s” before checking out with little time to check out. Sort of defeats the purpose of paying a $379 cleaning fee. -Tv didn’t work in room with bunks. Personal suggestions: -Update door lock with something more user friendly, such as a smart Schlage lock. -allow renters to rent golf cart on site or remove from site to allow renters to bring their own. -update the estimated walk to beach. -extended check out time. It was a great stay overall and a beautiful home in a great location. We enjoyed our visit and vacation.

Great house, neighborhood, and location in Blue Mountain Beach
A total of 8 of us stayed here for a girlfriend’s 50th birthday celebration. It’s a very nice neighborhood; lovely home with plenty of room, and a short walk to the beach. Recommend renting bikes at Big Daddy’s Bike Shop and riding the bike path to Seaside and Rosemary Beach!

Drift Away was the perfect family getaway location!
From check-in to check-out, our stay at Drift Away was perfect! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking meals. The host left a nice welcome basket and their restaurant recommendations were spot-on! We had tacos at Red Fish the first night and they were soooo good. And don't even get me started on the birthday cake milkshakes from the ice cream spot next door. The house was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach access and less than 2 minutes from the community pool. The host also has some beach chairs and a cooler, as well as a few other beach items in the garage for guest use, which came in very handy (unfortunately, the beach buggy/cart had a broken wheel, so we couldn't use that). The outdoor showers were also very handy for getting the kids cleaned up after every beach trip! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great family location! Thanks again for a great stay!

Incredible Stay at Drift Away!
It was our first time using VRBO and staying at a Beach House. It couldn't have went any more perfect. Rebecca was a great communicator and the house had everything we needed. Spacious bedrooms, luxury bathrooms and an open kitchen that kept begging us to us to cook. And the walk to the beach was seamless, even with 4 children ranging from 1-7.

It was as stated. We would have appreciated the ability to rent the golf cart and bikes at the property, due to overwhelming shortage of rentals available. We reached out to ask but did not receive a response. This was the only disappointment. Overall was satisfied with the stay and service.

Blue Mountain Beach Review
The home was clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I forgot my yeti and so happy to see that they had all types in the cabinet for us to use. Owners were very responsive to all my questions before we arrived. Check in was easy and very convenient. We enjoyed the adirondack chairs on the front porch. The home was a 1 min walk from the pool and a short walk to the beach. Every bike rental place nearby was out of bikes, so I wish we knew to rent them ahead of time. The area and neighborhood was very nice and we would happily stay there again.

AMAZINGGG!
This property was everything we were hoping for and then some for our group of 8!! Super clean, gorgeous decor, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, and close to everything we needed! We spent time at the neighborhood pool, where our kids loved to swim. Blue Mountain Creamery and the beach were also within a 5-8 minute walk, just as described! Make sure you take the Redfish Village shortcut to the beach! We brought a lot of our own stuff, but there were also plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys provided by the owner in case you don’t have your own. Rebecca was also super responsive if we needed anything, which was great! We will definitely be back, and hope to rent this house or another from Rebecca again! THANK YOU for an amazing stay!
