Balanza Vineyard Guest House
Enjoy the privacy of our vineyard guest house together with the luxury of a boutique B&B. We specialize in small private group rentals at our vineyard guest house. Our rate includes a daily three course breakfast plus cleaning and as needed linen service. We are licensed by our local health department and have protocols in place for enhanced cleaning and management of our property. Our guest house is located on our nine acre estate pinot noir vineyard in the heart of the Dundee Hills of Oregon - a perfect place for small groups up to 6 people to get away. If your group is larger, we can might be able to accommodate up to 2 additional people in a second property on site in our lower vineyard
Our large guest house has many common spaces, decks and gardens for our guests to enjoy while in wine country. Our great room with attached guest lounge is the perfect spot for our guests to enjoy their time together in a large well appointed private setting. Guests have a large deck off the guest lounge for outdoor grilling and entertaining and a dedicated kitchenette located in the main guest space. Guests may also reserve evening use of our "chefs" kitchen or our adjacent event BBQ barn for a wonderful evening of cooking and dining together. We are also boutique producers of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé and we love sharing our wines with out guests.
Our guests rooms give each couple the opportunity for a private get away. Each of our three beautiful guest rooms features a private bath and french doors that open onto a deck overlooking the vineyard with a semi-private sitting area. Each ensuite bath has a large walk-in custom shower and our Eola Amity room also includes free-standing tub.
With our included bed and breakfast service you won't have to worry about the details. Enjoy a 3 course hand crafted hot breakfast served daily, menus can be worked out in advance to meet your dietary needs. We have small batch estate wine available, cheese platters and lot's of extra options to make your stay special. Plus we worry about all the details such as bed/bath linens, trash, plus cleaning and disinfecting.
We stay on site in our private quarters to ensure that your group is well taken care of during your stay at the vineyard. We use our main kitchen to prepare and serve breakfast 6am-noon. Then we use the main kitchen and our event BBQ barn from noon-5pm for wine pick-up and wine club member sip and shop appointments. Note wine club members or day visitors do not have access to the main guest house spaces. For private group rentals, we are happy to arrange a private wine tasting anytime during your stay.
We are located on the same hill as of some of the most prestigious vineyards and wineries in the Dundee Hills. We can't wait to share our both our home and our passion for wine with you during your stay in Oregon.

On our second visit to Oregon we bought "the farm" - a small farm in the Dundee Hills accented by Jory soil, a south-east facing slope, and stunning views of the valley. We never before imagined leaving our home in Texas, yet now we could see ourselves "retiring" someday to join the growing community of wine growers focused on pinot noir. We both fell in love quickly, and after planting our first vineyard in 2014 we realized that our hearts and future were fully rooted in Oregon.
Taking a leap of faith, we purchased a neighboring vineyard site and embarked on building our family home with private guest suites for friends both old and new. We love sharing the peaceful nature of Oregon wine country, the inspiring vistas of the Dundee Hills and the day-to-day operation of a small vineyard. We hope you make our home yours when visiting the Oregon wine country.

Why they chose this property
We were rambling down Archery Summit Road after an afternoon of tasting at some of our the most beautiful vineyards in the Dundee Hills - when we stumbled upon a small old farm. It was only days before a dream of owning our own small vineyard in Oregon became a reality. Both the land and wine community captured our hearts and now here we are.
What makes this property unique
Our property has 280 degree views of beautiful Dundee Hills vineyards. We enjoy an unobstructed view of the Cascade range from Mt Hood to Mt Jefferson on the east side (perfect for sunrise) and a rolling view of vineyards to the west which set off the sunsets perfectly. We have constructed our guest house, guest rooms and deck to enable our guest to enjoy these spectacular views.
We are also licensed as a winery and happy to share and make available our small batch, locally grown and crafted wines. Please contact for information about adding a private tasting or to arrange a welcome bottle for your stay. We do on occasion host private wine club member pick-up appointments in our BBQ barn or on our kitchen deck. Wine club guests do not have access to the main guest spaces in our guest house.
