Villa Portet is the ideal holiday villa in Moraira, situated in a quiet and exclusive area of El Portet within short walking distance of Portet beach (500m). The property offers nice views to the sea and into the pine tree hills. This beautifully decorated high spec villa is hidden behind stylish antic doors and high walls with a spacious private garden and swimming pool. Walls and villa location prevent any outside views into the property assuring your privacy. The south oriented hilly plot ensures sunshine from breakfast till cocktail drinks at sunset. A choice of terraces around the house offer both sun and shade with great places to enjoy a quiet read, sunbathing or have fun with family and friends. Pool, sun terraces and main living areas of the house are all located at the same level, so no stairs in between!

This Ibiza style house, built by a prize winning Spanish architect, will overwhelm you with its Spanish charm. Authentic construction materials, furniture and decoration were carefully selected, making this house feel like your own home. It is therefore unique compared to many other rental villas.

The beautiful cove of El Portet is known as one of the most pictoresque beaches of the Costa Blanca, small enough to have kept its charm with a few very nice water edge restaurants and with a local small supermarket (incl bakery). The sandy beach with shallow waters is ideal for families. The house is only a short walk away from the marina and the village of Moraira with shops, restaurants, and bigger supermarkets. The most beautiful coast line of the Costa Blanca can be found here, from El Portet till Calpe. This area luckily has escaped from high-rise blocks and counts several idyllic bays to enjoy sun bathing and snorkeling.

One of the best villas

Communication with the owner was excellent including personal recommendations for the area. Walk down to local beach and restaurants was 10 minutes, very steep hill to bear in mind dependent on make up of your party. A super well equipped villa with excellent outside space. One of the best properties we have stayed in.

Dejlig villa nær fantastisk strand

Vi kan varmt anbefale denne villa. Den fungerede fint for 8 voksne. Huset var veludstyret og der manglede ikke noget . Terrassen er delvis overdækket og udstyret med behagelige møbler. Huset er ikke anonymt men er indrettet med sjæl. Fantastisk strand i gåafstand.

Fabulous holiday at a lovely villa

We do self catering villas each and every year and this one is very good. Simple! Well appointed and with all the things you value including comfy sunbeds, well equipped kitchen, great wifi, comfortable mattresses and a lovely terrace and pool. Cupboards have basic stocks on arrival so no need to buy the little things like seasoning etc on your first shop. You simply replace what you use (or add to the stock). The area is beautiful and the villa nicely located on the hillside with balcony views and amazing skies (especially at night). Local beaches are close (and fab) and local supermarkets have all you need. Geert and Heidi are very helpful and proud of their home. They deserve to be. Thank you. You can't really go wrong booking this place.

Wonderful holiday villa in quiet area

Very nice villa with charming interior, furniture and decoration. We really enjoyed the new double bed in the master bedroom (Apr-2019)! The Portet area (including Moraira) has plenty of nice places to enjoy drinks and food in a wonderful setting. We returned to work well-rested and totally relaxed. Recommended!

This villa is an absolute recommendation. Having been at many similar properties in Spain and the South of France, I found this house in El Portet to be very very good. The furniture (both in and outdoors) is of good taste and quality (not plastic) and there are more than sufficient plates, glases, cutlery etc. for eight without the need to do the dishes before/after each meal. The amenities are good and pleasant to work with (feels like home). We really enjoyed the pool and pool side, although the sea and pool temperature were still low in April/May. The outside area is pleasantly organised with six sun beds (in the sun) and a tasteful lounge in the shade. We enjoyed our stay in El Portet, with nice walks up the hill visiting the ancient tower and plenty of bars and restaurants at the beach area of El Portet and the neighbouring Moraira. I think you'll like it too!

wonderful house in a wonderful location

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. Everything was available and the location is perfect. The house has four nice bedrooms and two bathrooms. The outside space is good for 8 people. You can walk to the beach, takes about 10 minutes. The house feels like home.

Fabulous villa

Really lovely villa, super charming with a wonderful homely feel. Absolutely loved our stay here - house is fabulous and very well equipped. We stayed in July - so v hot - 5-10 min walk down to beautiful El Portet - would only be 5 minutes if not staying July - August. Would highly recommend - fabulous and not over-looked.

Beautiful and Charming Villa

We have stayed in a few villas in El Portet but this is by far the best we have stayed in. The villa is full of charm and character in a brilliant location within walking distance to the beach and Moraira. The villa is also very well equipped with every thing you could possibly need. We would definitely recommend staying here and we can't wait to return.

Very Good

We had a fantastic 9 days in this well equipped/maintained villa at the end of May. We were welcomed at the villa and shown around at the agreed time. Drinks were ready for us and our children in the fridge on arrival (thanks Geert). The location and vista of the property is wonderful. Our children (9yrs, 8yrs and 4yrs) loved the pool and enjoyed the walk down hill to the beach which takes about 5mins. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Many thanks.

Super villa met alle comfort

Net een superakantie achter de rug. Echte verrassing bij aankomst! Alles perfect in orde, degelijke uitrusting en mooi ingericht. Was heerlijk verblijven in deze typische Spaanse villa. Een huis met karakter en een warme ziel; voelden ons hier onmiddellijk thuis. Mooie terrassen en uitzichten en altijd zon. In de omgeving ook veel te beleven: wandelingen, goede restaurantjes, mooie strandjes (Portet was ideaal voor de kinderen, granadella, advocat) en dorpjes (oud altea en Javea). We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Magnificent villa with all facilities

We spent a fantastic holiday in this very well maintained villa. The villa comes with all facilities one needs when on holiday. Nice views also and a splendid location. We would certainly recommend it to friends or relatives. Also some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, like Bon Amb at Javea, and Le Dauphin in El Portet. Would certainly repeat a holiday at this villa. The Vercauteren-De Rekeneire family.

Fabulous villa !

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. The decorations are very tasteful and of a very high standard. Everything we needed was present. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Very good beds and charming bathrooms, and a fabulous living room ! We also really enjoyed the wide terrace with direct access to the swimming pool, which our children just loved. A lot of places to enjoy the sun or the shade. We really loved to sit on the terrace all evening long with friends, preparing dinner on the BBQ, and enjoying the great view. We walked several times to the beach of El Portet, to us one of the most charming bays in the area ! We can definitely recommend this villa, we found it one of the best in the area !!

My husband and I bought this house from a Spanish family in May 2011, immediately after we had seen it during our first ever visit in Moraira. We fell in love with the house at first sight because of its charm, authenticity and great location. Even after a few years now, we still have the same cosy feeling each time we step into the front door and enjoy the quietness and views during our holidays here.
