Located just outside the vibrant center of Athens, Georgia , this place will affect you.. like a blood moon… Corriedale Farm is rare and beautiful. The warmth and peace surround you. The animals, people, food, house and quietude come together to create a realm of contentment and tranquility that is from times past. A sense of Old World stone and wood coupled with extraordinary wine, cooking, fires and spatial openness. We raise sheep, dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a Great Pyrenees.
The house is large with a great room and two sided fireplace. We live in the house on the upper level and there will likely be other guests in the house, especially on weekends. You have full use of the house and farm and patio and the farm grounds. This location is about 15 miles from Athens and is great if you are visiting the area for a game weekend. We have Wifi but no television in that this a quiet and peaceful place where you can rest and relax and heal.

Unique and delightful
Our hosts, John and Rebecca, were very kind and helpful and directed us to some great restaurants and activities. Nearby Athens is a really fun town to visit and it was nice to have the best of both worlds by staying on their lovely farm. Be sure to visit the sheep and goats and the sweet dogs. Their beautiful house has many cozy spots to relax and the beds are super comfy. We’d love to stay with them again!

A unique and unforgettable stay
Corriedale Farm feels like a remote getaway, even though it's just a few minutes from downtown Jefferson. It's absolutely beautiful, serene, and John & Rebecca are more like old friends hosting you for a visit. This is a very special place that is perfect for those who want to get some true decompression but still want to be close enough to great food and fun in Athens.

Spring Break and visiting family in Winder, GA.
The Lindsay farm house what is a cute little getaway our kids had a great time going out and seeing the animals on the farm. The kids loved that they also got a chance to see two of the baby sheep’s after it was born that was really exciting for them. John and Rebecca were great host, everything was just as expected and more. Very accommodating for two small families too stay comfortably in (4 adults & 3 teen boys). Definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice relaxing getaway. Also I would definitely stay here again next time I visit family in Winder, GA.

Incredible place for family gathering
What a great place to stay and relax! John and Rebecca are incredible hosts. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome and free to enjoy all their farm has to offer. They have perfected the art of being available but not intrusive. The farm is a wonderful place with many interesting things: the animals, hot tub, fire pit, piano, fiddle, guitar, large kitchen, etc. We spent the weekend with our young adult children and it was the perfect place to visit and enjoy our family time. Since we are scattered all around it is always nice to be together and Corriedale Farm provided a great venue for our gathering. First thing my (adult) children did was play the piano and fiddle. We brought our own food and used the large kitchen to prepare several meals. Rebecca was gracious with the use of anything we needed in terms of cooking utensils, pots, pans while all our family worked together to cook our meals. The sleeping accommodations and baths were great as well. We definitely hope to return and enjoy the farm and hosts in the future.

A unique and suitable experience especially when traveling with our two puppies and the ability to enjoy an afternoon swim in the pool. The owners were very helpful and friendly

Rebecca and John Rock!
One of the most pleasant experiences I have had. We stayed in the main house with the owners on the upper level and us on the lower level. We opted to take advantage of the breakfast option our first morning, and it was gourmet and made with fresh ingredients from the farm from pear and blackberry preserves to the sausage to the yogurt parfait made from goats milk. Rebecca and John are very inspiring people and wonderful hosts! When you stay here, you still have plenty of privacy and all of the farm animals are very friendly. Rebecca is very helpful and generous to share her knowledge of farm life and even give goat milking lessons in the mornings! There is a private cottage if you do not want to stay in the main house that stays booked out a few months. The saltwater pool was nice and a great perk for our stay too! Down the road an old historic site that is a plantation and town original from the 1790's. Rebecca is willing to give you a tour of it! I hope to stay here again in the future!

Just what I was hoping for
A relaxing and enjoyable time. The owner gave us a tour of the plantation that was fascinating. This gave us a chance to get out of Athens each evening during a very intense conference. Will be in my future plans.

Relaxing Stay
We enjoyed our stay & loved the farm. We have no regrets or complaints with our stay & we enjoyed sitting in the shaded patio to chat & read. Even with shared space we felt like we had a lot of privacy and the rooms downstairs are thoughtfully spaced out. We will recommend others to stay here if they’re in the area & we’ll stay again for any future family events.

Nice Stay
It was a nice stay. John and Rebecca were very accommodating. We loved the animals and the kids enjoyed the pool. Fairly private area for guests in the basement but the main floor was lived in by the host so it felt a little awkward spending time there. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Perfect, relaxing end to our fall vacation
We spent two wonderful nights at this bnb and what a joy! John and Rebecca love what they do and it comes through every aspect of the farm. It is a relaxing place, but full of fun and stimulating conversation, with their knowledge of animals, nature and world travel. The food was delicious and snacks are available anytime. We had already been on vacation for almost 2 weeks and this was a perfect ending before heading home. I highly recommend the farm and hope we can return.

Great break from city life
Only advice is to plan an extra day just lounging around the farm. This property is amazing, great hosts that will make you feel like family. The farm animals are a great distraction from modern life. I just wish we had more time to spend on the farm.
