This classic 1960s Shaver Lake Village chalet has maintained its original rustic charm. It's set at the edge of the forest with a huge deck and pine views as far as the eye can see, all while being just a five-minute stroll from the quaint cafes and shops of Shaver Lake Village.

The three-story layout offers a high level of privacy for family and friends enjoying this cozy cabin.

The entry is where you'll find the living room with real wood fireplace insert, dining room, full bathroom with tub, UHD Smart TV with free WiFi (no satellite/cable), and a modern well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a huge deck with tables, chairs, and high-quality gas BBQ - the perfect place for everyone to gather (patio furniture and grill are not available during winter months).

The upper level has a private bedroom with a queen bed and small private balcony on one side and loft/bedroom with double bed and stunning forest views on the other side. This level provides a peaceful location to enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening drink while staring out at the age-old forest.

The lower level has a large bedroom with king size bed, twin bunk beds and a bathroom with shower. Equipped with a UHD smart TV, this spacious bedroom offers the perfect place for the kids to hang out and enjoy a movie or play games while the adults enjoy the fireplace and huge deck on the main level.

The cabin will comfortably sleep eight; with a king, queen, full and twin bunk beds, your family and friends are sure to find an arrangement that suits your needs. We can also provide a roll-away bed on the upper level for that extra kiddo.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great first experience

Cabin was in a great location, had everything you need inside. Very roomy but if you can’t do stairs this is not a good fit. All the rooms are upstairs or down stairs in the basement. The only thing that was bad was the floors were not that clean, a lot of stuff left behind from the previous people, dirty cleaning rags were left in the counters from the house keeping. But other then that it was a great first experience

Great Cabin in West Village

Loved our stay. Perfect cabin with a well laid out floor plan on the 3 levels. Great for families were you can separate out the teens on the lower level. Ample deck space with good views

Great outdoor deck

This is a nice house close to the center of Shaver Lake. The deck and outside area were a highlight -- esp. for us being there on a hot weekend in early August. The rooms upstairs are definitely warm if it's a hot week (it was difficult to sleep up there for 3 of the 4 nights). The kitchen is well outfitted, but overall the place could probably use some updating. We did have some regular mice visits as well.

Great Weekend

Rented the cabin for the weekend to celebrate my sons 12 birthday at the lake. The cabin is located walking distance from many restaurants and stores. Just a few minute drive to the lake. It was spacious for my group of 8 and was equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time. Hopefully we can rent again.

So cute!!

It’s such a quite area surrounded by lots of trees! The road there a little narrow so if you have wide vehicles be careful as it’s up hill towards the house. As for the house itself, it was so cute and perfect size for my family of 5. There’s three layers to the house and each one is comfy and warm. Loved the downstairs one especially! My only concern was the room upstairs there isn’t a guard or railing for the side of the stairs which for me is a safety concern only because one of us did almost fall. But other than that, it’s a great place to relax and just enjoy shaver lake. I would highly recommend!

Great Place!

Great cozy place. Walking distance to town. About a 5 min drive to the Lake. House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and loved the outside patio. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Our time at shaver .

We immediately felt the staircase going upstairs was not kid friendly with not outside railing. The very nice outdoor grill was not cleaned and we only had enough propane to grill the first night. All else was great. Thank you.

Perfect Place to Stay

I rented the chalet for a group of cyclist friends, we were doing a race that started at the lake. The cabin is in excellent shape! Everything has been thought of, from the furniture layout to the many appliances available. It is a very comfortable place to stay with lots of places to hangout indoors or out. The balcony overlooking the woods is huge! One of the big things I was looking for was a place close to the village so we could walk to restaurants and shops, this place is just that. I cannot recommend this chalet enough.

Family Friendly

This cabin provided comfort and convenience for our family vacation. The deck provided lovely views, space for family meals and evening card games. The amenities were just right for our two families. It is close to the water and close to hiking trails. We're already making plans to come back.

Plenty of space on three levels, with bedrooms on the first and top floors. Appreciated kid friendly dishware. since there is no dishwasher, we could have benefited from extra dish soap. Wasn't planning on doing laundry, but when one of us accidentally fell in the lake we were grateful there was detergent pods left on top of the washer. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio, plenty of seating. Views were barely touched by the 2020 fire. Appreciated the extra blankets. Could have used extra kitchen towels though. Lake access less than 3 miles away, this was a good location for our family.

It was cool

Mostly ok but somethings were not clean and fresh such as bed spreads and pillow tops. Deck wasn’t clean and it looked unorganized. Coffee and yea was stale. Couch smelled bad and most linen was not fresh... broken glass under master bed down stairs. Like that you supplied many towels and dishes, washer and dryer was very convenient it was quiet and peaceful.

Relaxing Retreat Near Town

The house is amazing! I really like how the 2 bedrooms are on the 1st and 3rd floor to keep the noise down and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was up to date and easy to use. The wrap around deck was amazing and provided a perfect spot for eating, playing games and yoga. Restaurants are a short block away and since the street is a dead end there was less traffic noise. You will love it!
