We came down here for our kids spring break as we have two kids that will be graduating high school! There was 10 of us all together the house was big enough to have all of us. It would have been nice to know that it was considered a duplex with a locking door in between the steps! It does have 2 hot tubs which was nice with little kids! The bikes were broken so do not plan on riding/using them. We went to open the windows and the dirt, dead bugs and cob webs were just gross. There was lots of mouse poop under the couch and beside the stove. Other than that it was a great location.
The address was a little confusing to find but once located easily accessible. The code worked perfect; the cabin was clean. The kitchens were well stocked, all the appliances worked, and there were plenty of dishes for more than 10. The only problem was the dining table only seated 6 people at a time. The barn doors don't create any privacy in the lower level because they slide open. Good place for handicapped accessibility because downstairs has a ramp, and the bathroom is accessible also. The cabin has games and books, fire pits, hot tubs. Plenty for kids to do.
Grandma/Grandpa with 4 adult couples and 5 grandchildren Christmas reunion. Two of the four families are Active Duty Military. Older 2 level home unfitted well for our purposes . WiFi/TV in bedrooms and open floor plan family area. Full kitchen and baths both upstairs and downstairs. Washer/Drier on both levels. Up and Downstairs can be isolated from each other by lockable stairwell.
Fenced in area for pets would be nice, supply at least 1 bundle of firewood, better sheets as ours did not stay on the corners very well.Great trip! Excellent Location!
The location was perfect for us. It was out of the rush of town but close enough to go anywhere. The yard was perfect for my grandson to run around and play. The home was great the separate levels were perfect to have a family together but have space. We had one small problem but the owner was quick to respond. If I could add anything to the cabin it would be
Glasses to drink from that is not a coffee cup and a can opener that works. We will be back!
There were pros and cons to this VRBO
When we arrived on Saturday one of the hot tubs would not heat up. The hosts came by on Sunday and fixed it. It did not finish warming up to be able to use it until Monday so we missed out on a hot tub for 2 days which we paid for
5 out of the 7 days we stayed a bear got into the trash at the road so we had to spend our mornings cleaning up trash. It would be a good investment to have bear proof trash cans. That way people can enjoy their vacation instead of picking up trash
The stairs are a death trap! It is completely open on one side so one misstep and you can fall off the side. The door swings towards you so it is very difficult to open the door to go upstairs. Most of the time we had to walk around the proctor go upstairs
I gave the property 4 stars overall. It was clean and the rooms were spacious. It was nice having 2 kitchens & 2 living rooms. As long as you are careful on the stairs and don’t mind spending the morning picking up trash you will enjoy the stay
We ran into a plumbing problem, but it was fixed in a couple of trips. The grills are like ones in a public park and we were disappointed in that. LOVE all the king beds. They were comfortable and nice for everyone to have their own space.
Property was well cared for, clean, and comfortable. Only complaints would be that the stairs are VERY slippery (one of our party fell down them when wearing socks) and the grass was poorl cut.ha d
We were in town for the week for a competition at the Sevierville Convention Center. We made a nice vacation out of it. This property allowed up to have two families under one roof. It gave us plenty of space to enjoy together but also afforded us separate living spaces as there were two kitchens and separate entrances. The location couldn’t have been better. It provides privacy while being right nearby everything. Lastly, the property owners responded pretty much right away. I reached out because we were arriving a bit earlier than expected and wanted to make them aware. They were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely consider this property in the future if I return to the area.

Nice big bedrooms, bonus kitchens upstairs and down, easy location to get to any attractions, plenty of yard space and parking. Private. 2! Hot tubs on each level. Overall great stay with our kids and grandkids 👍
Location was perfect for easy access to cabin and points of interest. Was perfect for my whole extended family to come from east coast west coast and gulf coast for our reunion. Thank you lisa and john.
Everything was great except the downstairs bathroom had a terrible odor like mold. I did not notice it anywhere in the house. It might have been the front load washer
The property was great for family all under one roof. It gave us bonding time to spend with one another. Precious time that we will never forget.

Not worth the price
I’ve stayed in this area 5 times now and this one was the worst property I’ve ever rented. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. I’ve paid far less for a much more well equipped cabin in the mountains. This one is on a main road and the amenities were none. Below is the list of all the issues I had to send to them that we encountered throughout our stay. In their defense, I did not contact them until the night before we left as we were so busy all week and they did offer to come fix the issues and give me a $50 refund. I will just say that if you are going to spend $4600 for a week stay, look elsewhere cuz this place is the pits.
Downstairs-
remote had dead batteries
Toaster does not work
Faucet doesn’t stay off in sink
Very few eating utensils and plates
Master bedroom- door going into bathroom has no stop on it and kept falling off the track- was difficult to put back on
Bathroom- tub doesn’t drain when showering fills up with water
Dryer vent disconnected and the whole bathroom fills up with humidity
Upstairs-
Couch recliners broken and difficult to open and close
Top Oven won’t turn off when button pushed, had to pull the breaker to get it to shut off and never used it again
Games were destroyed and missing pieces
Blender doesn’t work
Outside-
Grill disgusting
Fire pit disgusting
Bikes with all flat tires
All the swings and chairs dirty so nowhere to sit outside
Lounge chair out on front porch fabric ripped and all the cushions moldy
The Smoky mountains are just beautiful. This home was perfect for our family getaway. Two levels with full kitchens was perfect and so handy! Beautiful home inside and great outdoors surrounding it! We really enjoyed ourselves!
The home is very nice. Love the way it sits on top of the hill. Seen some deers run through the yard. Enjoyed our time there!

My husband & I love the smokey mountains and visit as often as possible. I grew up near Chattanooga TN and it's great to return to our roots and spend time with family. With our vacation home it makes it easier to enjoy a visit more often we hope to share the home we enjoy with you!
Why they chose this property
We were renting cabins and had some trouble with tight driveways and long drives back to them, so we looked for our own place. We enjoy seeing the leaves turn in the fall and all the concerts offered close by. We enjoy relaxing and watching the sunsets. Our favorite amenity is the hot tub. We love to go to several of the shows close by as well as the restaurants nearby. We're also just a mile from The Island and the cool things it offers including The Wheel (Giant Ferris Wheel), but feels like you are in your own wooded area. Lots of room for the dog and kids to play. We have enjoyed BBQ's outside with our family on the picnic table. Even in storm we don't want to leave and love watching the trees from the large picture window in the living room.
What makes this property unique
We love being in the natural wonder around the home. Having a hot tub on site is wonderful. We are close to restaurants, Shows & Museums. Our favorite restaurants are Apple Barn, Local Goat, Junction 35, & Blue Moose. Our favorite shows are the Stampede, Pirates, and Country Tonite
