About this property

Welcome to Good Vibrations! At our cozy guest house in North Kingstown, you have the luxury of having a quiet, neighborhood experience, just a short drive from Providence, Newport, Westerly and even Boston.

The guest house is a separate building from our main house. Enter into the first floor, which houses a large master bedroom with high ceilings, a king-size bed and convertible futon (full-size). A pack n' play is available for infants. There are black out blinds and curtains throughout the downstairs and upstairs. There is an en-suite bathroom with a standup shower. The temperature for the downstairs (both heat & AC) are controlled by a unit on the wall. Just off of the downstairs hallway, you will notice a private porch with 2 outdoor chairs for your enjoyment.

The second floor is just up a flight of stairs and has 2 sofas that can be made into twin-size beds. There are room darkening shades throughout the upstairs. We offer a TV with a Roku & DVD player as well as DVD's available for your entertainment. An electric fireplace adds to the cozy ambiance. The 2nd bathroom with a standup shower is located directly off the living area. A kitchenette with basic amenities is tucked away upstairs. It houses a toaster, oven with stove top, refrigerator, electric kettle, and microwave. There is also a coffee bar for your enjoyment. A washer/dryer unit is tucked away behind the kitchenette to make our guests stay even more like home. The temperature for the upstairs (both heat & AC) are controlled by a unit on the wall.

A pack n' play, high chair, children's toys and books are available for guest's use while at our guest house.

There is 1 parking spot offered in front of the guest house, marked by a “guest parking” sign. Additional guests will be required to park on the street in front of the main house.

We are a 5 minute drive to East Greenwich and Goddard Park. 10 minutes to Wickford and Wickford Junction Railway Station (commuter train to Boston). 25 minutes north to Providence , 25 minutes south to Newport and 20 minutes to Narragansett. 20 minutes to T.F. Green Airport. 50 minutes to Westerly & the southern RI beaches. Closest beach in Goddard Park is only a 5 minute drive! 1 hour 15min drive to Boston and 3 hours drive to New York City.

Michi and Brian’s guest house was the perfect home base for a visit with family in NK, Warwick, and Newport. With two teenagers and two parents it gave everyone enough space and bathrooms to unwind, plus a small kitchen and lovely dining area. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Thank you!

Beautiful place made us feel at home!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Michi and Brian’s place. The location was excellent, and everything about the stay was simply great. We came as a family getaway and we were able to get to many places and came back every evening for board games and a relaxing place to lay our heads. She was a wonderful host, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Girls weekend in RI

Stayed Here with my sister and adult daughter for a long weekend. The location is perfect. An even distance between Providence and Newport. Wickford Village is a short drive away as well. The house is conveniently located to pretty much everything. The guest house also looked exactly as it appeared in the pictures, modern and clean and very well organized. Michi was super helpful with a small problem with the Wi-Fi and took care of it for us almost immediately. I would definitely recommend a stay at Good Vibrations and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful guest house

We stayed here for 3 nights for our nephews bar mitzvah. Perfect location as it was in between all the venue sites for our family function filled weekend. Communication with the owner was awesome, she was very responsive and helpful. We did not plan for rainy weather so would have loved to have some umbrellas available ( as we were all dressed up with pouring rain)… Great amount of toys/dvds/books for the kids. My kids were a bit bummed they weren’t allowed to use the play structure outside our house… but luckily we were busy with family so we weren’t hanging around the house much anyway. Very comfortable, clean and aesthetically pleasing guest house. Would definitely recommend!

Loved our stay!

My fiancé and I brought our 10 month old to RI to visit some family. The house was easy to find, and centrally located to all the places we wanted to go. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our baby(pack and play, high chair, etc), very convenient! The space was the perfect size for us, and plenty of room to have some company for dinner. Michi was easy to reach when we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay!

My mom and aunt stayed at Good vibrations and said it was the cleanest rental they have ever booked. The design and flow of the property was great - my mom slept in the king sized bed on the first floor and my aunt (who loves to stay up late watching TV) had the entire second floor to herself, including a kitchen and bathroom. We will definitely book this property next time family comes to town.

Darling property

We (three adults) stayed at the property for a weekend in late October. The guesthouse is extremely clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared; possibly the best I've stayed at on any such property-management app/site! A convenient drive to Newport and near Wickford village, both great sightseeing locales. Details: One king bed, one futon in same room, and comfy sleeping couches upstairs. Kitchen, dining in open concept upstairs, two full baths with showers; private, quiet, lovely neighborhood.

Great Spot for our Girls Trip

Everything was just as we imagined it to be on this property. We take a fall girls trip each year, three friends from high school. The location was perfect, we spent two days exploring Newport, and two days in Providence. We also liked the Wickford area nearby. The house was perfect for our needs, including our nightly card games. The owners were quick to respond to our needs.

Comfortable and convenient

This property provided more than expected. It was a cozy atmosphere, nicely decorated, very clean and fully functional. It’s well thought out. Even our active toddler stayed entertained with lots of room to move around and engaging games. You really won’t need to bring much to make this feel like home while you’re away.

A special place

This was an excellent rental unit. We had an outstanding time with our daughters. It is divided in two very separate living areas. It was perfect for us.The unit is very tastefully done. It is very clean and well organized. The bathrooms are very nice. We loved it there. The outside area is gorgeous!

Perfect stay in a perfect location

A well-appointed, perfect getaway guesthouse to the main home located in a prime neighborhood in Rhode Island. Well located in a wooded development area of upscale single family homes. Loved the very "homey" feel of the guesthouse. I hope to return again soon to enjoy the fine amenities of the area.

We are a family of 4 (plus a dog & 2 cats) originally from Seattle, WA. We relocated to Rhode Island and have fallen in love with the Ocean State! We truly appreciate the friendly people, incredible summers, beautiful beaches, fantastic seafood, proximity to large metropolitan areas as well as serene hillsides, and the overall feeling of community. We hope you will stay with us!

We are here to make your stay as smooth and comfortable as possible! We love hosting guests and providing a home away from home for you. If you need anything at all, we are here to help. You will have your own private space with the peacefulness of a suburban neighborhood. We love our neighbors and the surrounding area. It is an idyllic New England setting year round. We enjoy living in a quiet area with easy access to major cities.

What makes this property unique

You have the quiet of a more rural area, with easy access to Providence, Newport, Westerly, Boston, and even New York! You can take the train from Kingston Station to New York City (3hrs) or the train from Wickford Junction to Boston (1hr 15min). Newport is an easy 25 minute drive, as is Providence. Boston is a straight shot at approximately 1hr 30min!

Rhode Island has some of the most beautiful beaches around! The closest beach at Goddard Park is a 5 minute drive down the street. Some of our favorite beaches are in Westerly, which is about 50 minutes south. The Narragansett beaches are about 20 minutes south.

Our guest house offers ample space for up to 5 people. There are room darkening shades in the upstairs and downstairs as well as blackout blinds downstairs. We have a washer/dryer upstairs behind the kitchen.

We have 2 children ourselves, so we have a pack n' play with sheets, a high chair and some games and toys for children.
