A wonderful Experience

Thank you for an amazing experience. The location is top notch and the home was so clean. The property manager was responsive and extremely helpful. Great instructions for check-in and out. Overall, we had an awesome experience and will be booking again.

Weekend getaway

Cute apartment in a great location. Great to walk around little shops and get coffee. Easy check in/out. Parking is not convenient but quaintness of location more than makes up for it. Apartment was clean, beds were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cute little seaside place

We loved the quaintness of Rockport, MA. Your house is perfect for a stay at the little seaside town. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming feel of your place and being so close to the water was perfect. We loved all the shops, ice cream, and the coffee shop. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Location

Perfect location on Bearskin Neck. Apartment was neat and clean and located in the heart of Rockport. It was an easy walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

Girls weekend

We three adults had a lovely time! Rockport was sleepy in the off season but we could walk to dinner and coffee. We each had a room with a door so we could have some privacy and space. Its such a sweet spot perfect for a mini get away with friends

Location in the heart of Bearskin Neck ...who wouldnt want an ice cre parlor as your neighbor. Great Restaurants and Fun Shoppes . A walk to the beach and everything else in this Rockport village.

Fun Location

We had a wonderful stay all week in Rockport! We enjoyed the easy walks to the beach and the kids liked walking on the rocks everyday. We made several trips to Gloucester to go whale watching and did most of our dining between the 2 towns. We had easy access to the restaurants and shops so we walked most of the time. The sunrises were the best! We had great communication with our host and we enjoyed the Cupcake/Ice cream shop below us. They were very kind and had amazing desserts. We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. The living from space was small and not that comfortable for a family of 4 to relax but honestly we didn’t spend a lot of time there anyway. We would happily return for another trip!

Nice location in Rockport

Quirky place , a little rough around the edges, but clean and well equipped. Parking is the main drawback but offset by the location in the middle of all the shops. Noisy in the am due to all the shops.

Very cute little place in wonderful area

This house is right in the heart of it and super nice and cozy. Everything is there and exactly as described and depicted in the add. We loved our stay and would come back anytime. It is equipped with everything ones need. A big plus is the reserved parking space right by the house, that was awesome. Communication with owner was fast and easy. Wonderful little place!!

Fabulous quirky central apartment

Loved the character and location of this apartment in charming seaside artsy/touristy Rockport. Once we got used to knock of ice cream scoop (afternoon hours in store below) we had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. Beth (remote owner) and John (ice cream store) were both really nice, responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful & Cozy

We had a wonderful stay June 2007. It's location to nearby to Bearneck shops, restaurants, museums was too convenient without much street noise! The Suite is very clean, lovely, cozy, with plenty of kitchen equipment, clean towels & sheets, and washer and dryer downstairs. We loved our stay and it's one of our favorite short, last minute getaways from the city! A grocery store, video rental store, and the highway is a short car-ride away. The ocean is a nice 5-min walk, and a beach in a nearby neighborhood is about a 10-min walk. The ownders provided beach furniture and children's sand toys. The owners were a pleasure and very friendly.

Liked Apartment but Loved Rockport

The owner was super responsive to all queries. The apartment was smack dab in the middle of a charming New England fishing village. Rockport is a tourist haven so be prepared for the crowds if the weather is pleasant. Thankfully the weather was perfect most of the week. The sunsets were beautiful there and there are many restaurants where you can watch sun dipping down. Back to the apartment - it is sufficient for all needs. We also walked and brought all of our stuff to Front Beach. The tide comes in super fast so put yourself close to wall. Overall, fantastic trip!

All was great but

You understand when you book a property like this above a business that there will be some issues however I was put off by the constant music from the ice cream store below. Anytime they were open I could hear the beat and barely hear the melody so I found myself trying to figure out what song was playing. It was annoying in the evening. The gentleman who works the nice cream shop was very friendly, but I didn’t addrsss this with him as I figured surely I wasn’t the only one and apparently he didn’t care. Sloping floors and the outlet in bathroom didn’t work and had a small wire sticking out from the reset. Otherwise, charming and fun spot.

Space was ok needs updates

The space it's self was just ok, but I probably wouldn't stay again. Being an upstairs apartment the bathroom is super small( I'm 6 foot and hot my head Everytime I stood up from the toilet. Multiple light switches were missing knobs making it difficult to turn the lights on and off. The queen bed was hard as a rock and the bedroom door didn't latch closed so it would swing in the breeze and hit making noise all night long, I just propped it open but if I had other people staying with me it would want to be to close the door tight. Getting in was easy, not having parking was a slight pain in the neck but manageable.

Girls Road Trip

Great little apartment in the heart of Rockport. Super clean. I loved all the shops and Roy Moores was minutes away. I thought I wouldn't mind having to park my car away from me. It was more of a 10 minute walk a little further away than I would have liked. That is the only downside for myself, but definitely wouldn't give less ratings because of parking.

Best Location

This was the perfect place to stay in Bearskin Neck. It was in the heart of this fishing village, and not to mention the ship below sells the best cupcakes and by far the creamiest ice cream ever! These hosts are the nicest people! It was a perfect space for our family of 4. The locals are so nice they can tell you all of the great hidden places to visit. Don’t hesitate to book this place if you plan to visit Rockport, Gloucester, or Salem. You will not regret it!
