3 Couples had a quiet stay for New Years' Eve. Beautiful, quiet setting on horse farm. Very convenient to several towns and stores but out in the country. Very spacious and comfortable house.
Two families with teens competing at Tryon. Location is great with a lot of space. Would have liked hand soap for bathrooms and electronic locks. Keys provided didn’t work, replacement keys worked but we had people coming and going at different times so hard to share one set. Will gladly book again for another Tryon show.
Beautiful property. Sorry we didn’t get to stay there more to enjoy the view in the daylight. We left in the dark and returned in the dark due to show scheduling.
The owner of this property is amazing. Such a beautiful soul. I can’t say enough about her. The property was clean. Gorgeous views. You felt like you were far away. Everything isn’t far at all. My husband said it before me. We want to come back !!!!seeing the horses and the gorgeous views along with the home. Made for an extraordinary trip.
cozy quiet little spot really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful farm that surrounds it. Will be bac
stayed here while we worked at the Tryon equestrian facility taking photos. We need a quiet, solid place to say where we can rest and recuperate after long days work. really enjoyed our stay and it was very cozy. would also enjoy staying here as a vacation rental and the surrounding property was very pretty
This was our second time staying here. It’s a nice, well appointed house, good for the dogs and close to the horse show. Will definitely stay again in the future.
A perfect place to stay for the Spartan Race weekend. 4 adults had their own room and privacy. The house was clean and well stocked. It was an extra pleasure seeing the horses everyday!

Beautiful location! Had trouble with having the property manager address issues we had
Beautiful and great location. The house was plenty big enough for everyone. We only used the 1st floor of the house.
The first night we were going to bed, we pulled the pillows off the master bed and found what looked to be rodents droppings. All the beds on the 1st floor had “droppings” on the comforters or in the sheets of the bed, as well as in the master closet in a folded up comforter, and also found them in the hall closet where the vacuum cleaner was stored. The property owner did respond saying it might have been bugs, but offered no assistance as far as having the mess cleaned up or addressing the issue of rodents or bugs. We were informed that an exterminator was scheduled for the day after we checked out.
We cleaned up the beds ourselves and while vacuuming the master bedroom we found empty soda cans under the bed, along with other trash. The fan in the master bedroom had not been cleaned in a very long time as there was built up dust on the blades.
I completely understand that that rodents/bugs happen. I just felt there was no urgency from the owner in making sure the property was in good condition and clean for us to sleep. If it had been my property, at the very least, I would have offered to have the sheet laundered and traps set out.
My family and friends stayed in this home for 4 days while we explored the area of Tryon,Columbia, Saluda, Landrum and Hendersonville. We hiked, water tubed, and shopped. The house made and excellent central location for all of this. The beds were all comfortable, the layout of the home allowed everyone to spread out and enjoy our home (read nap) time, the deck would have been great for afternoon conversation but afternoon rain prevented our using it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was because I didn’t feel the kitchen was very well equipped. There isn’t a blender, the coffee maker is a very nice Kerig but it only makes one cup at a time which was a bottle neck at breakfast when 5 people are wanting a cup and there was not an ample supply of mugs. Also there are 3 very nice bathrooms but well pressure restricts showers to one at a time. While the house does have some draw backs we all had a wonderful time and would gladly come again.
Could not have imagined a better place to stay while at Tryon for horse show. Property lovely and so convenient to show! Loved all of the animals and so enjoyed just being on such a beautiful property! Thank you!
Comfortable and roomy home near Columbus. Very easy to communicate and work with Mary. We had everything we needed. Nice fenced in yard for dogs. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Worked great for our multigenerational family.
Wonderful house for our situation. I needed several different sleeping situations to accommodate my group and this house filled our needs. Great space, very comfortable, and SO convenient to TIEC. Mary-the host was beyond easy for communication, check in, and check out.
VRBO Write up is true 😎Nice house with fences located on a beautiful ranch. VRBO house is up towards front of property. Private except for a smiling horse or 2 ! I Would absolutely stay here again. 👍🏼Our dog loved it as well…lots of roaming room.
This VRBO was Great! The biggest Pro is the fenced in yard for the dogs! It was perfect for a quick weekend up for horse competitions. Thank you to the owners for their quick replies back.
Very pleasant stay. House was well equipped with most everything we needed and the owner promptly responded to all of my questions. Plenty of room for my family and dogs. The dogs loved the yard. We loved the spacious inside. It was nice to get away from the city and the property was conveniently located to Food Lion grocery store and restaurants. Surroundings were quiet and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows outside in the fire pit we brought. Nice escape from the real world for a few days. Got to see horses roaming on the property and that was a plus.
We loved this house. We felt at home from the minute we drove in the drive way. Mary was a great host. The house had so much room and it was clean and comfortable. My kids loved hanging out with the dog and horses. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.
Our family rented this property for a weekend. We were so happy with everything. It was close enough to grocery stores and restaurants but had a secluded feel since it wasn’t on a main highway. The house had a lot of room to spread out. The bonus area upstairs provided a place for the kids to play while the downstairs was perfect for the adults. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and we all enjoyed watching the horses nearby. The kitchen was open and easy for several people to be working there at one time. After the weekend one of my daughters said she thought this was the best house we had ever rented for a family weekend trip. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Why they chose this property
I am an equestrian and know how important it is to be close to the grounds where I am competing at. We are minutes to TIEC and can use the back roads or Hwy. 74. The other direction is a few minutes to grocery store and restaurants. We all love our little 4 legged friends and they are welcome here!!
