- Fitted kitchen open to the main room: table, induction hob, extractor hoods, microwave, oven / grill, fridge / freezer, coffee maker + nespresso, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, dishes and kitchen utensils , table and iron.
- 2 independent bedrooms: 1st with 140 X 190 bed, bedside tables, wardrobe / wardrobe, chair.(a baby bed can be provided)
2nd with 2 beds of 90 X 190 desk, shelves, library.
The rooms are equipped with 2 double glazed windows + shutter to ensure calm
despite the proximity of the station.

Pleasant little apartment close to the old city

This is a nice little apartment just a very short walk from the old city. It is not very modern but it is comfortable and has everything you need. The hosts are absolutely delightful and they make sure you have a great stay.

Everything you need for a perfect stay in Avignon

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Andre and Francoise were beautiful hosts, collecting us from the train station and providing recommendations about the places to visit in Avignon. The apartment itself had everything one could need whilst on holidays, was really clean and very close to all the major attractions. Avignon is a charming town and the apartment beautifully complimented this charm. Highly recommend.

Super séjour avec des propriétaires au top!

Super appartement avec toutes les facilités et très bien équipé! Très proche de la gare donc vraiment pratique mais sans désagrément de bruit grâce aux doubles vitrages! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Mais ce qui fait la grosse différence c'est l'accueil des propriétaires, Francoise et André qui fut top, vraiment super gentils et plein de bons conseils. Nous conseillons fortement! Lise

Un séjour agréable en Provence!

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour de 2 semaines à l'Alieron. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et manifestement soucieux de notre confort. Les informations fournies sur leur coin de pays nous ont permis de voir des endroits fort intéressants. L'appartement est agréable et nous avons été fonctionnels très rapidement. Beautiful apartment in Avignon

A lovely 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities you need for enjoying your stay. We loved the kitchen and especially enjoyed the deck with the view of the red tiled rooftops of Avignon. We took several day trips by train and really loved that our apartment was so close to the train station. That was a definite plus!

Tolle Wohnung mit unvergleichlichen Gastgebern..

Zunächst einmal zu den harten Fakten: Die Wohnung ist exakt so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Großzügige Raumaufteilung, hell, tiptopsauber und prima ausgestattet. Obwohl auf einer Seite zu den Bahnhofsgleisen ausgerichtet, absolut ruhig weil zwei doppeltverglaste Fenster hintereinander gesetzt wurden. Der zentrale Wohn-/ Ess-/ Kochbereich ist klimatisiert, von da aus gelang die kühle Luft mittels Ventilatoren in die Schlafzimmer. Ansonsten bot die Wohnung mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Kaffee und etlichen Gewürzen und vielem mehr) alles was wir brauchten. Auf der Hofseite war der große Balkon für uns das Highlight. Hier schaut man über den Dächern der Stadt ins Grüne, auf Wunsch spendet eine Markise Schatten. Zum Bahnhof sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß und von da aus erreicht man über das Stadttor gleich die historische Altstadt. Also sowohl für Ausflüge als auch Stadtbesichtigungen optimal gelegen. Unvergleichlich haben den Aufenthalt unsere Gastgeber, Françoise und André, gemacht. Sie haben uns schon an der Türe erwartet, uns mit Snacks und Getränken willkommen geheißen und haben uns die Stadt eingehend und mit Geduld nähergebracht (z.B. die netten Lokale in der Rue des Teinturiers). Durch den warmherzigen Empfang haben wir uns gleich heimisch gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Super Hosts!

Andre and Francoise were the best hosts! They met me off the train and showed me every detail about the apartment. It is so well fitted out, nothing is missing. It’s like being in your home away from home. The location is great with easy walking to everything in old Avignon. It’s near the train and bus station but the windows are so well insulated that you do NOT hear the trains. Andre and Francoise are very friendly and they enjoy getting to know more about the people who stay in their apartment. It was a chance for me to practice my French and for Francoise to practice her English! I would highly recommend visitors to Avignon to stay in this apartment and would definitely stay there again if I return to Avignon.

Interessante Tage in Avignon und Umgebung

Ein sehr schöner und interessanter Aufenthalt in Avignon (Papstpalast) und Umgebung (z.B. Orange, Sault und vor allem die Schluchten [Gorges de la Nesque] mit der atemberaubenden Autofahrt entlang der Schlucht. Die Vermieter waren reizende Leute, netter Empfang!

Our week in Avignon

We arrived at the central bus station, and made the short walk to the property. Francoise and Andre had previously contacted us to ask our approximate arrival time, so when we texted them from the front door they were walking up the sidewalk within five minutes. We were given a good walk-through of the spotless apartment, cold drinks were waiting in the fridge, and they gave us lots of good advice on local attractions and amenities, along with an invitation to contact them if we had any questions or issues along the way. The apartment was ideally situated for our stay, a few minutes walk to the heart of old Avignon, and we were even able to walk to Villeneuve les Avignon. We took a day trip by bus to Aix en Provence, and rented a car for the day to visit some Luberon hill villages that we hadn't seen on our walk just prior to arrival in Avignon. We had originally planned to rent a car for three days prior to driving it to Marseille airport for the flight home, but parking is a bit tight in the area, and we opted to take the train to MRS instead. The apartment was perfect for our visit, very well equipped, and Francoise and Andre were perfect hosts. The building was quiet, and the balcony was nice for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine.

Staying in Avignon

Apartment is veryclean, spacious. It has everything needed for a long stay(2-3 weeks). Sadly we were only there for 3 nights. Host's were great. Picked us up at train. Explained the apartment and the walled city to us. Lots of tourists information to read through. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Exceeded expectations

We had a great stay! They did a great job explaining the apartment and how everything worked. We were a short walk to the walled city and close to a park which was fantastic as a family. The access to laundry made packing easy. We will stay here again!!

Très très bon séjour

Nous avons passé 3 jours extra. Appartement très très bien, Bien situé notamment à côté de la gare et à 800m du centre-ville, parking et même garage disponible. Tout est fait pour passer un excellent séjour (propreté, linges, matériel, jeux, documentation, balcon...) Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil, leurs petites intentions, leurs conseils pour visiter Avignon et les alentours. TOP

Great stay

The apartment is as shown. Madame gave an orientation to the area with a map with suggestions for groceries and cafes. Quiet neighborhood, though behind the train station; there are 2 actual windows keeping the sound out. Less than a 10 minute walk to cafes and grocery stores. Elevator worked well. Easy to do day trips, 17 minute train to Arles. Comfortable beds, big kitchen. Lovely balcony with views of the rooftops. I hope to return soon.

Zentral gelegenen Stadtwohnung, stufenfreier Zugang, mit sonnigem Balkon

In unmittelbarer Altstadt- und Bahnhofsnähe, dadurch gut ohne Auto erreichbar. Supermarkt fußläufig entfernt, aufgrund der modernen Fenster gut schall und wärmeisoliert (wir warwewn Mitte November dort) Die Wohnungist effektiv heizbar, die Küche lässt keine Wünsch offen (Induktionsherd, ausreichend Besteck und Töpfe) Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank schon vorgefüllt (Getränke, Milch, Kaffee)

Séjour très agréable à Avignon

Les propriétaires nous ont retrouvés à notre arrivée. Ils ont pris le temps de nous montrer l'appartement et nous donner des conseils pour notre visite d'Avignon. L'appartement est extrêmement bien équipé. Ils nous ont permis de stocker nos vélos dans leur cave. Tout était au top!

Wonderful owners!

The owners were the best we’ve had. They met us at the property and answered every question we had. European appliances being different than US appliances need a bit of instruction! The owners even had us over for drinks and French snacks. This was so kind of them as they also gave us tips on places to dine and things to see. Good location near the train station. Other owners have not been so generous so we appreciated our owners a whole lot! Thank you Françoise and Andre! Françoise speaks English enough to communicate and answer questions. There is not private parking but there is public free parking across the street. If you’re going to Provence, Avignon is the place to stay.

Highly recommend this perfect apartment!

Location is very good, right outside the walled city and close to the train and bus station, shops and sights, all an easy walk to. The apartment is very comfortable and clean and has an elevator is on site. The hosts, Andre and François are very welcoming and generous. We enjoyed their company very much. Don’t overlook this wonderful apartment!

Super convenient Avignon destination

We loved our stay in this VRBO. The accommodations were incredibly clean and the best equipped of any guest accommodations we have ever used. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, quiet, safe and secure. When we arrived we found cold Pellegrino, a Coca Cola, and filled ice trays! They even left several Madeleines! Ten minute walk to shopping and the Palais du Pape and the Pont. Our hosts were so kind as to take us to the dock to start our river boat cruise. A lovely VRBO hosted by two lovely people. Highly recommended.

Excellent séjour

Très bel accueil par Françoise et André. Appartement bien agréable, bien agencé et très fonctionnel. Au calme, à 5 minutes du centre ville. Très bons conseils de Françoise et André pour les lieux de visites et restaurants. Nous ne manquerons pas d’y retourner lors de notre prochain séjour sur Avignon. Nous recommandons fortement.
