Historic Colonial home with back open porch with patio furniture and grill overlooking a lovely backyard. The interior has front hallway with open stairway to second floor, plus back staircase.
The first floor has modern sunny kitchen with granite counter tops, great appliances and breakfast area.Other features include a dining room with large table for six or more plus nonworking brick fireplace and mantel. The home also has a cozy living room , den with flat screen television and cable plus full bathroom with tub and shower. First floor also has a bedroom with two twin beds.
The second floor has four bedooms with two queen beds, king bed and trundle bed all with bedside tables and dressers.A center hallway leads to a lovely library with flatscreen television.The second floor also has a bathroom with shower.
Off street parking with bicycle storage in garage bay one house away from home.
Five minute walk along cobble stone street to many fine resturants, pubs, shops and ferries to the mainland. A perfect spot for a vacation with or without a vehicle.

The house is in a fantastic location with a ton of charm. Dan was incredibly responsive and an excellent host! Would certainly recommend to anyone traveling to Nantucket.

Fabulous Nantucket House in perfect location

This was such a great stay- the house is huge, lovely, and clean, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a big, leafy backyard. Dan was a helpful host, and we zipped back and forth to town in minutes. just perfect, would absolutely stay again!

Great Home in the Heart of Nantucket

Communication with Daniel was efficient and easy. Very clean, centrally located house. Spacious home and lots of linens, which was nice. The connected rooms made it a little awkward to navigate house late at night, but not a dealbreaker by any stretch. Really ideal for families. The best part of this home was the proximity to the center of town and ferry landing. Great stay in Nantucket!

The property is a beautiful historic house right in town. The location is fantastic and was fully stocked with everything we would need. Daniel was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely return!

Great Location

This was the perfect home for multiple couples/friends. Lots of room and well stocked kitchen, etc. Great central location near town. Only comment (which was not a big deal for me as I didn't have a car) is that there is no parking.

Family trip for wedding

The house is very spacious and in a great location! We had 8 people with plenty of room for everyone. Lots of room to cook & dine. Beautiful backyard and a gas grill on the deck. Only downside is the bathrooms could use some updates! Overall very happy with our stay.

Great house - great in town location

House was great. We were on Nantucket for a wedding and location was very convenient for walking to all wedding events which were all downtown. Air conditioners in bedrooms very much appreciated as it was hot. Deck off kitchen was very much enjoyed.

Close to everything!

Clean clean house. Large and historic. Very well equipped. Kitchen had everything. Nice deck, nice yard. Rooms were huge. 4 upstairs bedrooms and one downstairs which was ideal for my 85 year old mom. She didn’t want to climb the stairs. Front living room with nice couch and chairs. Lots of reading material everywhere. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and small rear den. Just the 4 of us on a girls trip. Easy walk to downtown and all of the fine restaurants. Also near the local grocery. Taxied and Ubered all over the island. Took the local bus one day as well. Shopped and walked all over. Very nice trip. Easy and open communication with the host.

Figawi 2023

We loved this beautiful home!!!! We are a group that has been friends for the past 43 years and we have prioritized this special weekend for an annual reunion. Among our group, is an avid sailor and Figawi participant. We previously rented a different in-town property. It was sold during COVID and the new owners increased the nightly rate x3!??! We were fortunate to be able to find this home! It was clean, spacious and charming. Our house group consists of 7 and we entertain our boating friends. Our rental becomes the gathering spot for meals and our traditional Sunday funday bloody Mary's. We affectionately named the dining room "the event space". It was perfect to accommodate the large group for dinner. We loved the deck and park-like backyard! It was so relaxing and peaceful and our weather was stellar! The bonus? While conversing on the deck we heard music in the distance. It seemed to grow louder and closer. We ran to the front stairs and to our delight, the Memorial Day parade marched directly in front of the house! We were able to pause and honor those who never came home and we were able to thank the Veterans who marched in their memory! It was wonderful! Our one concern was the distance and proximity to town. We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were. We utilized a taxi/Uber upon arrival and departure (with our luggage) and for a food shopping trip. We walked all other times throughout the weekend. It's an easy, direct route to everything you need! Perfection

A Grand Stay on Gardner

Our adult children, my husband and I journeyed to Nantucket to celebrate our -#2 son’s 40th birthday. The island did not disappoint! Our house was a short walk yo town, great location. The town snd docks are charming, with delicious restaurants and unique boutiques!! We were very good for local economy. It seemed like home , as we “ran into” numerous neighbors snd friends!! It truly is a small world. We totally enjoyed our short visit and look forward to returning. Thanks to our landlord for sharing his lovely home with us.

Wonderful Experience

The house and location were perfect. We were 2 couples who have been vacationing in Nantucket for over 30 years. If we had any questions, the caretaker was available immediately. The house was charming and also the property. It was a very easy walk into town. Would love to stay there again.

In town historic gem

This 1800's house was such a fun place to stay and get a real sense of the history of the island. We traveled with our grown children to celebrate our anniversary and visit family on the island. The house provided plenty of space to spread out, a big yard and is very convenient for walking to town. We would definitley stay here again.

Nantucket Getaway

Beautiful historic home in an excellent location. A 5-10 min walk away from all the shops and restaurants downtown and a short bike ride to the Madaket and Surfside bike trails. House was clean, well appointed, and the kitchen and two bathrooms were well stocked with plenty of bath towels, soaps, cleaning, laundry, and paper supplies. Five bedrooms, a living room, and two additional family rooms offered plenty of space to spread out. It was like having a bed and breakfast to ourselves! Would definitely stay here again!
