Family cottage in the heart of the village of Homburg, in the Pays de Herve, in a building dating back to the late 18th century, restored in 2012.

The cottage is located on the first floor of the building, it offers all the comforts for your stay:

Tolle Unterkunft!

Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Bei Rückfragen, auch im Vorfeld, war die Gastgeberin immer zu erreichen. Auf Anfragen über das Portal kam immer sehr zügig eine Antwort. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Wonderful house with plenty of room for the family

Beautiful place, great hosts. Enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house as a family. The house with the large Terasse was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our kid loved the toys and the playground and Trampolin in the garden. Unfortunately the street next to the house was very loud and loud cars, tractors and motorcycles woke us up in the mornings. Besides that everything was perfect!

Eine tolle Wohnung, an der es an nichts fehlt.Tolle Terasse, wo man seinen morgendlichen Kaffee als auch abends ein Gläschen Wein genießen kann. Tolle Aufteilung der Wohnung. Bäcker direkt gegenüber mit sehr leckeren Brötchen. Brauerei mit leckerem Essen nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Isabelle ist eine ganz tolle Vermieterin. Alles super geklappt

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge

Die Wohnung liegt günstig für Ausflüge. Maastricht, Eupen, Aachen, Monschau, Lüttich. Alles gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sodass man gute eine Woche dort bleiben kann. Die große Terrasse ist sehr praktisch. Bäcker gleich gegenüber. Sinnvoll wären ein paar mehr Fliegengitter anzubringen. Im Sommer muss man zum schlafen die Fenster öffnen. Minuspunkt ist die Straße vorm Haus. Teilweise leider etwas laut.

Toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen

Wir genossen eine wunderbare Woche mit abwechslungsreichen Wanderungen, nach denen man sich im gemütlich eingerichteten Ferienhaus erholen konnte. Für die Kinder war der Garten mit den Spielgeräten sehr schön. Auch die Küche ist gut sortiert. Ein besonderes Highlight war die sonnige Dachterrasse. Vielen Dank für die erlebnisreiche Urlaubswoche!

Sejour très agréable pour faire les marchés de Noël de Cologne, Aix la chapelle et Monschau. Le logement est spacieux (ambiance cocooning)et très propre. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et disponibles. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Carole, Yann et Romane

Tout est très bien. Propriétaire accueillante, gite très bien entretenu et très bien agencé. Jardin et terrasse agréables. Des petites poules au fond du jardin pour la joie des enfants. Endroit idéal pour passer par trois pays pendant les mêmes vacances (Belgique Allemagne Pays-Bas) visite de Maastricht, Aix-la-chapelle, Waterloo, Montjoie, les mines de Blégny...

Herrliches Appartement

Wir haben 4 wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Ein guten Ausgangspunkt für Radfahrer um die Umgebung zu Erkennen. Das Appartement ist für 2 Paare sehr geeignet da es über 2 Badezimmer verfügt. Danke Isabelle für die schöne Zeit in dein sehr sauberes Appartement. Wir haben uns sehr zuhause gefüllt.

Sehr schöne und nett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Echt empfehlenswert!

Für fünf Personen sehr gut. Bei Sechs muss erinnert auf einen Klappbett schlafen, das ist nicht so komfortabel.

Beautifully presented property

The property in the little village of Hombourg is lovely. It has good sized rooms and a nice kitchen/diner/living area with nice views of the surrounding countryside. The property is opposite the village pub that serves local beers and good food. There is also a restaurant (closed when we visited) and supermarket. The property is a good location with Spa and the motor racing circuit around 30 minutes drive. Communication with the host, Isabelle, was brilliant and I'd recommend this property if you're looking for somewhere quiet to stay whilst visiting the surrounding areas.

SUPER SEJOUR

Grand appartement très confortable situé au coeur d'une région magnifique. Base idéale pour visiter Liège (décevant), le pays de Herve, les Ardennes Belges, Maastricht, Aachen sans oublier le superbe village de Monschau. Nous étions cinq adultes et avons tous apprécié cette location que je recommande. Merci à Isabelle pour son accueil.

Très bon séjour en famille

Très bel appartement, situé en plein bourg, proche de Liège et de Maastricht. Boulangerie en face du logement. Nous n''avons pas pu profiter du jardin et de la très jolie terrasse à cause des conditions climatiques (temps froid et venteux). Nous avons même utilisé le poêle à granulés qui nous a bien réchauffés ces premiers jours du mois de mai ! Le logement est très bien équipé et est d'une propreté irréprochable. Idéal pour une famille de 5 personnes. Seul petit bémol ! la lumière du jour le matin dans les chambres.... car nous ne sommes pas habitués, nous qui avons des volets ! Logement à recommander...

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location

Once we had found it (we didn't have an actual address and it is on a bend so we drove past first time) this holiday house has a great location in a village surrounded by beautiful views which we were able to enjoy from the roof terrace along with the sound of the nearby cows. The bakers is right opposite, the pub with its great beers is a very short walk and an added bonus was a small well-equipped supermarket in the village too (although pricey for some things). The house was easy to live in for 5 days: good showers, comfortable beds although the kitchen possibly lacked a few things that we have found in other holiday houses. The tourist information for the local area was very comprehensive. We had thought we would visit Maastricht and Aachen while staying here but were content to explore more locally and particularly enjoyed woodland walks including the one to the ice cream farm.
