Lake Front, beautiful home with an open floor plan, large windows, and 2 decks so you'll be always reminded you're on lake time here! Outside boasts 40 ft of lake front, a grill and 150 ft dock. Just minutes away from lots of shops, restaurants, and the Southern Tier Brewery! This 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath, lakefront house is the perfect spot to relax with family and enjoy Chautauqua Lake! One mile to grocery stores, Starbucks, the mall, several restaurants, and Historic Lakewood. About 30 minutes to the Chautauqua Wine Trail with lots of vineyards and wine tastings. Also 15 minutes from Bemus Point and 25 from the Chautauqua Institute. There is so much to do here but if you just want to kick back and relax it is the perfect spot for that too!

Beautiful sunsets!!

Our stay in Becky’s home was wonderful. The views of the lake and sunsets were breathtaking. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough room for 6 adults. Becky was quick to answer any questions that I had. Thank you for allowing us to stay there. We hope to go back again someday!

Our happy place

Our second time staying here and it felt like we’ve been coming for years! It is such a comfortable home, with an outstanding view ( especially from the second floor deck- my personal favorite!) and peaceful neighborhood. So looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect place to relax on the shores of Lake Chautauqua

This was the perfect place to spend a relaxing week with the family at Chautauqua Lake. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable with stores nearby for your convenience. The views from the spacious decks were gorgeous and the pier made it easy to have fun using the paddle boards provided. The hosts couldn’t have been more responsive and accommodating. You will not be disappointed with this choice.

Yearly college friends get together

Perfect, quiet lakefront getaway. Very clean, albeit dated with small beds, but perfect for our group of 7 adults. Very responsive host. The water was algae laden for swimming, but perfect for provided paddle boards and kayak we brought.

Great time at the lake!

My husband along with my sister and her husband came up to see my son play in the Chautauqua Institution symphony orchestra. We saw two concerts which were excellent plus had a beautiful scenic place to stay! There is also a lot of interesting things to do like visiting Lucille Ball's grave, her home, and museum. Also it's close to lake Erie. Lake living is a wonderful and relaxing way to reconnect with family and friends. We had a great time and are looking forward to next year!

Beautiful views of the lake from this house!

House views are amazing and peaceful. We thought it was a great location too. Convenient to everything and house had everything we needed. We took walks in morning over to Harbor Creek Hotel area, lighthouse and Lucille Ball park. Easy to travel to Bemis area and parks. Even with not so great weather on Friday we found a lot of things to do. Saturday we rented a pontoon from The Boatworks LLC in Bemis and Bernie was great to work with. Highly recommend him as well if you are planning on renting a boat.

Wonderful stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! We couldn't have asked for a better place! In addition to being right on the water, with a dock, the house was roomy, comfortable & spotless! We loved the large decks & cooked out on the grill. We had so much fun on the paddle boards (& lots of laughs, too)! It was nice having 4 bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor. Becky is an awesome hostess and very responsive. We had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay! We loved the beautiful views, especially the sunsets! Breathtaking! It was a fun getaway and I would highly recommend this place! Convenient location - close to Wegmans, Target & Tops. You won't be disappointed if you stay here! Thank you, Becky!!

Family fun time

The week was fun despite chilly, overcast weather. Overall, high marks for the house, however we've rented others on the lake and have had access to kayaks, floats and a washer and dryer. I blame myself for not checking about these things. Best wishes, Sara

Perfect for children

This house was perfect for two families celebrating the holiday weekend. The four children loved all the toys and games. The enjoyed playing hide-n-seek in the various rooms in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the house was very clean. Both decks were perfect to have morning coffee, close the night with peaceful sunset, or watch the night sky. The neighborhood was warm and friendly. There is so much to do around the lake. We had an terrific stay! Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful stay!

What a great house! Large, open1st floor was great for gatherings/ cooking. All essentials were provided. Wonderful master with a great balcony and view. We had 7 stay with us and it worked out well. Dock was good as we brought our own boat. House has a tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water for back-to-back showers! Walmart is near, as are several good restaurants. Rained nearly everyday at some point so Netflix was handy for a good movie. House was clean and the first floor had nice updates. We would definitely stay here again. Everyone said it was a great house.

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I and our two adult children were in much need of an escape, and chose this property because the pictures showed a home that provided exactly what we needed- rooms with bigger beds, lakefront location with an unobstructed view of Lake Chautauqua, and outdoor seating. This home was that and so much more! Clean, comfortable, roomy and with plenty of small touches throughout that made this so homey! Becky was kind, helpful, and responsive. We loved staying here and will most likely return next year!

Great time/place again

Our second time to this nice house. It is perfect for our family to visit. We had a problem with part of the dock breaking, creating a hazard but I emailed the owner, who called me quickly and we got the dock fixed temporarily with a simple bolt. The owner was very helpful and appreciative. The house is great with full amenities for a family meal, evening games, a movie or boating. Highly recommend.

Simply lovely

Characterful and well maintained house with superb lake and sunset views. Becky, the owner, was wonderfully communicative and the nearby hotel offers 4 season dining as does the Main Landing riverside restaurant less than a mile away. A lovely getaway, thank you!

Perfect for a group

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults/ 3 children. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of towels (and endless hot water!) but only one full bathroom. Lots of games, TV, seating. AC window units in every bedroom was very nice to have in July. Right on the water with a private dock so we were able to jet ski and kayak. Had to go just down the road to get the jet ski in the water. Location is very close to all your basic stores such as Wegmans, Tim Hortons, etc. The host was very responsive and kind. Overall, a very good experience!

Everything we needed!

This house was great. We did not have to worry about purchasing paper products, dish soap, etc. It was all there and waiting to be used. We grilled out with family one night and everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen was there as well. The short walk (about two minutes) to the Harbor Hotel was also very convenient. We were there every night for one reason or another. Communication with Becky was. a breeze. WE needed to shift our trip by a day and she was very accommodating. When I had further questions she always responded very quickly. Would highly recommend!

All good, but the weather.

We loved being right on the lake ( a place I practically grew up on). We love the lake and close proximity to shopping and food. Unfortunately the weather this trip was nasty rain and wind, which made it impossible for all of us to be out on the boat. It's not the first time....and I'm sure this won't be our last as well.

Soul-refreshing retreat

We loved the property and Becky who added a full length railing to upstairs to alleviate our concerns. It was the perfect retreat to hang out, reconnect and refresh. The lake mesmerized us with the waves and stunningly beautiful sunsets. Unfortunately the green water in August was a bit smelly at times. The house was spacious , well cared for. Comfy beds, places to walk and be sure not to miss the comedy museum! It is a great place to relax and enjoy!

Great Family Lake House

We had a fantastic 3 generation family get together, and the house was perfect for our group! Good sized gathering room, great for watching the sunset whether from indoors, or from the deck or the patio; dock was nice for fishing off, shallow water good for kids to swim! Everything was very comfortable and well appointed, and the owner, Becky, was extremely helpful with information/suggestions for things to see and do, and always quick to respond to any questions. All in all a fantastic family vacation. We would definitely recommend!

Peaceful getaway with beautiful sunsets

We had a wonderful, relaxing visit. The house was very neat and clean and Becky was very responsive. The sunsets are a must see! Great views from balcony upstairs and right out the door from living room. Listing states A/C but it is one window unit upstairs and one downstairs. Downstairs area stays comfortable with ceiling fans and window A/C but upstairs gets very warm with exception of master BR which has the other window unit. Fans and ceiling fans are provided but still pretty warm at night. Overall a great place, we enjoyed it!

Nice Family Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a short family getaway, not too far of a drive from where we live. We have 4 small children and an 11 year old. This rental was absolutely perfect for a family! The house is very child friendly. My kids loved reading books and playing with the toys. There were tons of board games to play with our older child as well! Becky was an amazing host! She was very accommodating with anything we needed, easy to reach, and helped us with tons of recommendations on fun things to do with our family! The water was fine to swim in for the first few days, but due to the recent algae blooms, it was not swimmable the last day of our trip. Even so, we enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, kayaking off the dock, and letting the kids swim the first few days. We had such a nice time and it was a great place to come and visit!

Excellent sunset views

This property is unique among our experience as vrbo renters, because of the property owner. She went out of her way to make special accommodations for us, without hesitation and without asking for anything additional from us. A wonderful change from what is typically a sterile, business-only interaction. Once you step into the property, you will realize that these folks use it as their getaway as well, and that you are their very welcome guest. It has that homey, family feel. We stayed 3 nights for a short family getaway and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite areas of the home are the living area with its bay window view of the lake and sunsets, and the back patio, for much the same reasons. The area is very quiet during the week, so it is peaceful and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are soft and warm. The kitchen has sufficient cooking utensils to accomplish whatever you want to create in there. There is a full bath downstairs, and a water closet bathroom upstairs. If you are bringing a boat, especially this summer, you should be aware that the water is very shallow in the whole lake, but especially in Celoron. This house has a very nice aluminum dock. The draft at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet right now. Sort of perfect for a pontoon boat. This was a great rental.

Lake house vacation 2020

Excellent hosts! Property was very clean snd comfortable for family of 8 with 2 small children. Lake is very shallow in front of house so perfect for swimming with children. Lots of games and puzzles too. We would definitely rent this home again.
