Bring your boat because you'll be in the scenic Potato Creek area of Lake Marion, legendary for its fishing and wildlife. Bald eagles and ospreys soaring overhead is an everyday sight as you enjoy fantastic fishing and water sports on Lake Marion. Relax by the lakeside as you grill your catch of the day and watch the sunset as it fades into starlight while gathered around our fire pit. The Santee National Wildlife Refuge is just 1/2 mile by boat and is also easily accessible via car, by bike or hiking trails. Five golf courses and shopping helps keep your vacation options open. We had a wonderful time. The space was perfect for 9 of us and two dogs. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier. They caught three large catfish, and several pan fish. We had a fish fry at the end of the week. We made many memories for everyone!

Nice house enjoyed the lake. Grill needed to be rebuilt or replaced the burners are rusted out. The kitchen needs more spoons and forks and some good fry pans but overall a good week

This house is so spacious! There’s plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is great, the neighborhood is quiet, and the host is very easy to get in touch with! Really enjoyed my stay, I will be back.

Great stay!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious and was plenty of room for our group of 4 couples and kids. We rented David's boat and he gave us lots of great local tips. Overall, a great stay and we would be happy to stay at this location again!

GREAT VACATION RENTAL!!!

Our family rented this house this past wk & enjoyed it very much!! The lake (beach) area was awesome and NO SHELLS on lake floor to hurt your feet while in the water! That was a huge plus for us!!! Loved the location & having our own boat ramp was also a plus! We hope to rent this house again next yr!

Management Retreat, perfect place

I rented this property to have a strategic planning session with my Command Staff. This property was a perfect combination of work space with plenty of opportunity for relaxation in our down time. The lake access is wonderful and the next time we will definetly take a boat. I highly recommend this location for business or family.

We have enjoyed this area for the last 40 years. You can fish right off the dock or launch your boat from our private ramp and fish one of the many secluded undeveloped coves nearby.

What makes this property unique

The sheltered coves and creeks can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. It's a short run by boat into the main lake with full access to the entire Santee Cooper lake system.
