Free Covered Boat Slip, Fire Pit, and New Renovations in Spring 2024!! Come and be our guests in beautiful Cumberland County Kentucky for your next getaway. We have just finished a Fire Pit with a gravelled 20X20 Foot sitting area with 12 chairs for Fall of 2024!! I only stock with high quality seasoned firewood. Almost exclusively Oak and HIckory. We have New Furnishings & Renovations throughout for 2024. We installed Waterproof flooring throughout, new Paint throughout, and New toilets. New furnishings and decorations throughout the house as well. New Bedding/linens, utensils, etc. are stocked in this house along with upgraded Fibre Optic WIFI & Mesh Wireless Modem for a great signal around the house and basement. The cabin sits on 8.5 Acres with plenty of parking for trailers and a sloping fenced pasture in back surrounded by a treeline beyond. Relax and enjoy the evening sunset on the connected back deck/carport/front porch while grilling dinner on our 2023 Large Weber Propane Grill. We have 2 47 Inch LED TV's w/ You Tube TV (with expanded Sports Package) and Roku Access for any channels you wish to watch so you can enjoy the race or game after a day on the lake. Additional Living Room area in the basement is great for the kids that would like to hang out by themselves or play video games or watch their favorite channels. The property is less than a city block from the Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Gate, Golf Course, and the State Park Marina. 12Ft.X24Ft. COVERED Boat slip included Free with your stay! We are also Approx. 20 Min. from the 2 nearest boat ramps with access to the Cumberland River where the State Record Brown Trout was caught near the Burkesville Public Boat Ramp. The closest Lake Cumberland Marina is Approx. 30 MInutes away (Grider Hill) or 40 Minutes away For Beaver Creek Dam Public Ramp.

THE $125.00 CLEANING FEE IS ALWAYS WAIVED ON STAYS LONGER THAN 2 DAYS IN THE FALL THROUGH SPRING SEASON AND LONGER THAN 3 DAY STAYS IN THE LATER SUMMER THROUGH SEPTEMBER. From the end of May to the first of August our place is available for weekly reservations only from Saturday to Saturday for our guests planning their yearly family vacations. We had a wonderful stay at this property. 4 minutes from the state park at Dale Hollow. Easy access to the lake. There were 7 of us staying in the house and there was plenty of space. Kitchen was stocked nicely and the house was extremely clean. There was also plenty of parking. We had 4 trucks with trailers. We will definitely be returning!

Awesome place to stay. There is plenty of room for 6 guys and a great location right down the road from the golf course and the lake. Todd was super responsive with any questions I had. Can't wait to go back.

This was an awesome stay. Makes us to want to buy a property in the same area. The house was clean and stocked with essentials that we had forgotten. The property was gorgeous and had some the greatest views all day and we were lucky enough to see some snow come down while we there.

Great place to stay close to the lake!
The property was so clean and we loved all the outside space for sitting on the deck. We used the nice grill for dinner the first night! Being able to sit in the back and watch the horses in the field was very nice as well! The convenience of having a boat slip included was amazing! We will definitely book again!

Just perfect!
We enjoyed it so much. There is no better location for access to Dale Hollow State Park. The house is beautifully decorated, top quality furniture decorations and appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. Definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

Great Place!!!!
Loved this place!!!!! This place is very clean and spacious. Took two families down to enjoy the lake and had an amazing time. Boat slip is close and convenient. Plenty of parking for the boat trailers. The grill was a nice touch. We came back from the lake every evening and had a nice family cookout. Highly recommended.

Great Golf Trip
Cabin/cottage was perfect for our group of 6 golfers. Had everything we needed and great deck area for shooting the breeze and bragging about our great shots. Todd's website photos were very accurate and the place was comfortable. Its kind of out of the way but he made sure we knew how to get there. We definitely hope to return.

Peaceful and cozy.
A group of 12 of buddies have been coming here for almost 10 years for a golf weekend. The property is awesome. Less than a 2 mile drive to the pro shop. Plenty of room inside and a great amount of space outside. If coming down for a boys golf trip or a family getaway to the lake I would definitely recommend this place. The owner is very accommodating and easy to contact if anything is needed.

Peaceful and Convenient
What a great way to enjoy Dale Hollow State Park and Lake! The house is located on a quiet road and sitting and talking or eating on the porches is so enjoyable. We stayed on perhaps the Park's busiest weekend of the year and really enjoyed the use of the boat slip rather than fighting the crowds at the ramp and then finding a parking place. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and a pleasure to do business with - he really cared about our satisfaction. Highly recommended if you are looking for a very affordable, clean, convenient, and peaceful getaway with friends and family! Five stars!

Not as nice as pictures portray
Furnishings and flooring in poor repair. Smelled of mold. We were unable to stay there and found other accommodations. It would be a tight fit for 16 people. Not as nice as the pictures portray. The kitchen and bath was nice enough. The rest in poor repair. The owner did take care of his part of the refund but was a very stressful start to our trip. Luckily, we found different accommodations. I am still waiting on the rest of my refund from VRBO.

Annual Family Trip
We rented this home as it seemed it would accommodate our large group and it certainly did. We had a great time and everything went well. The listing was accurate, home larger than it looked on the outside and fit us all well. We had a couple of very minor issues and Todd/Owner addressed them immediately, the minor issues were of no fault to him or his service but he was prompt and handled it. I would recommend him and his property to anyone and will likely book again. Until next year!

Why they chose this property

We are just a city block distance from the Dale Hollow State Park entrance and we offer a free boat slip at the Marina located Approx. 2 miles through the Park. We offer peaceful lodging on 8.5 acres with plenty of room for parking and trailers. In the Spring of 2024 we renovated and replaced all of the furnishings from 2017. New waterproof flooring was installed throughout the house. Interior was painted throughout and 2 larger toilets were installed along with many other cosmetic changes. New furnishings and decorations as well as linens, kitchenware Etc. were purchased. Electric Reclining Sectional on main floor with large kitchen table for Eight. 2 tables are located just outside the kitchen for Eight in carport area next to the large Weber Propane grill purchased in 2023. Additional chairs are on back deck. The Couch in the basement is a Queen hideaway bed for extra sleeping options.

What makes this property unique

One of the closest if not the closest vacation property to the entrance of Dale Hollow State Park. The Park is less than a city block from our property. We sit on a side road next to the Park entrance. Plenty of parking space and open ground to easily maneuver your trailer(s) and park multiple vehicles. FREE 12Ft. x 24Ft. COVERED SLIP at the State Park Marina included with your stay! Fishermen there is an electric hook-up in the Carport and a stainless steel fish cleaning station on the property. Peaceful surroundings after a great day boating, fishing or golfing with a beautiful sunset that sets over the length of our 8.5 Acre Pasture while you are grilling or enjoying a peaceful evening. There are three different areas to entertain. Adults can enjoy the outdoors under the wrap around porch/carport area, or watch TV on the main floor while the kids can wind down and enjoy TV or just hanging out downstairs in the basement.
