This property was perfect for our 1 night stay prior to a cruise. Although not close to the port we wanted to enjoy the beach and for this the location was wonderful Property is exactly as advertised.
We stayed overnight before our cruise. This is a little older building but the view is amazing. Served its purpose. Bed is comfy. Only problem was not a single pot or pan to cook with. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.
This place is very dated it looks nothing like the pictures. It was ok one night stay before a cruise definitely wouldn’t stay any longer. The beach area and Baird walk behind the resort was the best part of it

Dingy, interior - good views.
The linen was not freah, very old. Paint not freas, kitchen & bedroom drawers off hinges, dirty air vents, stained furniture.
Thankfully, this was just a short stop before our flight. Location, check in and parking were as advertised but the room itself was minimally equipped and not as pictured. Couch was super uncomfortable. They were double beds (not Queen) in both bedrooms, no hand soap, no dish soap, no face cloths.A 3-star at best.

This place is a dump.
The whole building is dirty and run-down. Tons of deferred maintenance. The rooms have virtually no amenities. You get a bed and a towel and that is it. They have a restaurant/lounge, but we did not dare eat or drink there.

Three Stars
Our room was way outdated. The floors/carpet were dirty, the beds very hard and just over all an old feeling. Beach area is very nice BUT there are not many restaurants or shops to walk to at all. I was charged a 60 parking fee and 120 extra person fee even though I had NO parking or extra person. I was able to get this refunded. I would not go back to this location.
This was a quick over night stay before our cruise. The accommodations were perfect! The location was perfect for me. I liked being right at the beach and the owner of the outside restaurant was very friendly and the food was great! I’d stay there again! Some other friends that stayed somewhere else came to visit and said they would stay here next time.
We found the unit reasonably clean, but somewhat short on written instruction about garbage and reyclables. Towels, washcloths, and kitchen supplies were not adequate upon check-in. The check-in and check-out process was simple. We loved the location and the pool was well maintained.

Not as advertised
Online images do not accurately depict the property. Property is outdated.
Okay, these ratings are subjective crap at best. So let me just say that this place is not a utopia, but it is a freakin' fabulous place to stay and be close enough to south beach to ride the free trolley. It is clean, the view of the ocean is spectacular and the place was clean. Okay, the walls may have some spots of ill-repair. There were a few spots on the carpet. But if you are going to niggle over such small things, then go to the 4seasons!!
This place was affordable, had a great view, a pool and we could walk to the beach! Nuff said. Stop looking for perfection and consider that the price you pay affords you a view which only God could make. My friends and I had a fabulous time, enjoyed the view, and met great people. Based on that, I am satisfied.

There was not enough towels for the amount of people in the room. The master bedroom did not have a TV. It mentions there is a washer, but it does not mention you must pay for this and it is a $10 minimum. The TV in the living area was very small. There was no bedding for the pull out couch. There were many stains on the carpet in the rooms which looks really nasty. There was only one bowl in the cabinet, so there was not enough to even have cereal. There were very few utensils and only a few glasses. This place was for 6 people but you could not even set the table for 6 people.
Pros and cons
Pros- location was great, steps from the beach and walking distance to South beach if you like to walk. Staff was friendly, checking in and out after hours was also easy. Basic kitchen items were provided.
Cons- the unit needs repairs. The carpet has a huge burn from an iron and at least some of the faucets are falling apart. The photos are not the furniture in the unit. The AC unit was so loud you can’t run it at night or it will keep you up turning on and off all night long. And only one window would stay open.
For the price, if there weren’t stains on the carpet and the ac and faucets were fixed it would be great!
Seacoast is a decent place to stay. It is an older property and a little run down, but we don't spend a lot of time in the room so we do not care about the finishings. It is a decent place for the price. Make sure to thoroughly read the room versus the building amenities. They can be confusing/misleading. There were not a lot of towels in the room, but you can request more. The only bad thing is the elevators. This is a fairly large property and there is at most two working elevators and they are extremely slow. And one of the two was frequently not working. Our average elevator wait time was 15 minutes. We frequently took the stairs from the 11th floor because we had to wait so long for an elevator. This is not a new problem. I stayed here two years ago and it was the same issue. I just assumed it was an issue that would be fixed so I was not worried about it this time. A security guard told us the elevators are always slow and frequently broken.
The location was great and the balcony view was beautiful but the way the property was managed made it really difficult to relax and enjoy the property. The security guards closed the pool at 5:30pm daily when the sign said open until sunset, the security guard yelled at our kids for swimming in the pool without an adult in the water, they kept calling our room saying we needed to close the balcony door when we only opened it to come in and out (and the door was extremely hard to open/shut). There were so many rules it was hard to try and keep them all straight-for example, no luggage was allowed in the main elevators so you had to use the service elevator with the staff. I was okay with the property being older but there were dead bugs in the cabinets, our key cards stopped working on the 2nd day and we had to give used bath towels back before we could get clean towels. These are just some examples of things we dealt with the week we were there. In addition at check in there was extra charges for parking and a huge security deposit-none of which were disclosed to us before booking the place. I was very disappointed with VRBO and this rental for the price we paid.
