Santa Barbara inspired Spanish Colonial Adobe estate home nearly 7000 sq ft.

Come stay at our privately gated southwestern retreat located in the heart of Paradise Valley which features resort style amenities to live the relaxed AZ lifestyle. The main house comprised of 5135 square feet. with a large Master Suite, formal entry, living & dining rooms, large and light family room with fireplace & wet bar which open up to the gourmet kitchen. The main house also features 2 additional bedrooms and a study which complete the main living spaces. Hardwood and stone flooring throughout - allergy free - no carpet! Inside the main house also has a KOI pond. It is maintained by a solar feeder, so no maintenance. Watching the fish can be a very soothing experience.

There are 2 wonderful Casitas on the property located pool side. The first is designed as a game/pool casita with kitchen, fireplace, lockers & bath. Full bath including individualized lockers. The second guest house features a bedroom, family room, wet bar and a full bath. The rear yard showcases pool/spa, fountains, fireplaces, and outdoor living room perfect for entertaining.

If you are into the fine Arts, you can browse the property with 4 sculptures of the late world famous artist Dave McGary. In front of the house is a life size sculpture “Point of No Return”. This is a famous Indian brave who staked himself down in the middle of the battle field at Little Big Horn. There are only 5 that exist. One we know is in the lobby of Home Depot Corporate office. Inside the house is a maquette of American Horse, a famous Lakota Indian chief. Also inside the residence is a life size bust of Chief Crow King another famous Indian Chief of the Sioux Tribe. He also fought in the Battle of the Big Horn. Outside by the pool is “Symphonies of the Heart” depicting the courting ritual of the Lakota Indian Tribe. A very touching piece. People have said “you don’t look at Dave McGary’s work, you live with them”. This was Dave McGary’s house before he passed on.

This property also has 12 TV’s throughout, with 2 of the TVs outside on the patio. Less than 1 mile from AJ’s Fine Food (an Arizona staple) and a short driving distance from a Safeway. A movie theatre is a short 4 minute drive from the house, located at the Fashion Square Mall.

Absolutely Perfect
This house was just beautiful and the perfect space for us to use as our “home away from home” for my daughter’s pre-wedding activities. The home is spacious and was great for her 10 bridesmaids to get wedding ready while the groomsmen used the pool house. The house is stunning with lots of natural light and the yard and pool all perfectly maintained which all made for amazing photos. A magical place for a magical weekend!

My family of four, including two kids aged 10 and 12, plus a guest, had an amazing time. We were there for two weeks in spring 2022 after a long time away due to COVID travel restrictions. The house itself is in great shape and obviously well maintained. We didn't need to make much use of the climate controls, but having multiple controls throughout the house was really handy on a few chilly evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with decent quality pots, pans and cooking utensils. There was a good supply of basic staples such as salt, pepper, sugar and flour, so we didn't have to buy big bags just to use a bit. That's always nice in a rental property. The outdoor grill works really well and gets good and hot. The pool! Oh, the pool and the spa are amazing and we could probably spend days on end just floating and soaking in the sun. Beds, bathrooms, are terrific and the separate guest house and games house are a great way to extend the evening while people are sleeping. I'll admit the bunk room looked funny to me online but those beds are full size twins and they are very comfortable. The service was also amazing. Chris checked in on us just enough to make sure things were going well, but without being at all intrusive. He helped to answer all our questions and took care of a little problem with the BBQ and an electric kettle very quickly. The location in Paradise Valley is great. Perfectly located for many spring training baseball stadiums, Fashion Square Mall and various other attractions around Scottsdale. Plenty of options for groceries, pharmacies and other essentials. It's a bit of a hike across town if you're going to a Coyotes hockey game, but with the team relocating next season, that's all the more reason to return. We had an amazing stay and hope to return soon.

Beautiful Paradise Valley Home
Awesome week in beautiful home! Beautiful neighborhood convenient to all Scottsdale has to offer. My first vrbo experience and I was hesitant having always stayed in hotels but traveling with 6 adults a home made much more sense. I was not disappointed it was better than I imagined and I am very picky. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive, we will definitely stay again next time in Scottsdale!

A wonderful home!
We were fully delighted with our stay at this lovely home, including a great experience with conscientious property manager Chris. We enjoyed cooking together in the spacious kitchen, family board games in the cozy dining area, billiards in the remarkable game room, and movies in the comfortable family room. Very comfortable beds throughout. Location is great - - we walked a lot in the nice neighborhood and took short drives to plenty of shopping and Old Town Scottsdale. Cons were minor: only one set of housekeys provided, and the heating struggled to keep up on the coldest December night. We would happily stay in this great home again!

This property is stunning! We had so much fun in the pool, it was so clean and well maintained. My ten year old loved spending time in the game room playing pool, playing with the slot machine, making popcorn in the full-sized popcorn machine and getting a full size candy bar for $0.05. My three year old loved the koi pond and watching the fish. I loved working from the office, looking out over the pool with the beautiful sunset in the background. The guest house was beautiful and was a great because we had multiple adults staying with us, so we had the opportunity to be with each other but not right on top of each other. The master suite was exceptional and the tub in the master bathroom was the stuff dreams are made of. But the best part of the property were all the details. The beds, couches, chairs, everything was so comfortable. The kitchen was stock full of all the pots, pans and utensils needed to make a meal. The beautiful statues and signs added such a fun/unique vibe. And it was so clean! You can tell the owners have spent a lot of time thinking about the guest experience. The area of the property was quiet, we never heard any neighbors or traffic. The property manager, Chris, was responsive and very helpful. We so enjoyed our stay at this property, it was hands down the best property we have ever stayed at. We can't wait to go back!

Spectacular place to stay!
I recently stayed at this property with a group of friends and could not be more impressed! The home itself is gorgeous and the service / check-in process was the best I’ve had as a VRBO user. I have already recommended the property to friends and will definitely be back! Look no further than this property if you want a high end, relaxing escape with proximity to everything!

Perfect place...
Fantastic place to stay in the Scottsdale/PV area. One of the few times that the house is actually better than the pictures. We had 7 adults and 4 kids and we were not on top of each other at all...beds for everybody....and the kids loved the bunk room. Will book again....

Simply phenomenal!
This property, including it's location, highly exceeded our expectations. Our family of six spent a relaxing week at the home, enjoying the pool and visiting area attractions. The owners are wonderful to work with and all questions regarding our stay were answered in quick fashion. Much detail is given to a comfortable stay: the spacious home is very inviting, with beautiful furnishings inside and out. We immensely enjoyed the pool, patio area, and outdoor grill, including the pool house with billiards. The popcorn and candy machines were novelties our four kids won't soon forget either. Whether listening to great music with the pool/patio sound system or enjoying a little TV before bed, the technology features of the home allowed for further entertainment. Each area of the home was immaculately clean and great detail was taken to accommodate visitors. While staying here, we felt very safe and enjoyed morning walks with views of Camelback Mountain. We traveled a half hour to enjoy dinner and watch bull riding at Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek--so fun! Those up for an adventure will enjoy the quick, 35 minute drive to Salt River Recreation to tube on the Salt River. Sedona's beautiful red rocks are only 2 hours away, including Slide Rock Park with it's natural rock slides--chilly water, but kids loved it! Nearby Old Town Scottsdale provided us many dining options, including delicious Thai food and a stop at Sugar Bowl for ice cream. Whether we stayed home to enjoy the pool or set off on a day trip to enjoy the landscape, we treasure the fun had and memories created while staying at this home. We truly wanted for nothing while vacationing here, and I would not hesitate to book this property for future visits!

Paradise in Paradise Valley
I am a long time user of VRBO, accessing properties across the United States. This stay was by far the best we have ever had at any location. I traveled with my wife and four children, and the site could not have been more accommodating, as was the owner and the manager. The location was perfect, close to Old Town where we ate incredible Thai food and experienced the legendary Sugar Bowl ice cream, hiked Camel Back Mountain, and made a short 30 minute drive to Cave Creek to see the amateur bull riding. We were also a short 35 minutes to the Salt River for a Float trip, and just a couple of hours from Sedona. It was a perfect day trip to visit Sedona and Flagstaff. We were also only 4 hours to the Grand Canyon. The facility has everything a large group or family would need. The house is enormous, safe, and secure. The fence surrounding the property, the security system, and the automatic gate were also comforting. The house was enormous--large enough that our children on one end of the house were not audible from the Master Bedroom on the other end. There are 3 buildings on site--the house, the "pool room", and the guest house. Our children found the "pool room" of particular interest--perfect entertainment for the kids with a billiards table, big screen TV, popcorn machine, old time vending machines, and full kitchen. When not in the pool room, we enjoyed the clean and spacious pool. The property was extremely clean and well maintained, with various maintenance personnel visiting during our stay (pool cleaning, lawn mowing, blowing off entertainment areas, etc.) We really enjoyed the solitude of the pool area. Outdoor speakers, bar area, and grill were great for entertaining. Our kids had great fun using the "pass through" windows from the kitchen to the outdoor bar, pretending they were running a restaurant. Flotation devices were also available for use in the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of bathrooms (so many, in fact, that we discovered another one our last day there!), the beds were extremely comfortable, and the living areas were incredible. I also enjoyed reading the books onsite that detailed the previous owner, Dave McGary, world renowned bronze sculptor of native American life. You will find 3 of his pieces onsite, with the most impressive life sized piece being in the circle drive, as you pull in. I would highly recommend this property to friends, relatives, and even strangers!

The entire time you will feel like you are at a private 5 star resort! The details in the decorations and artwork are amazing. Our only issue was we didn't want to leave the house! Pool area was wonderful for grilling and hanging out. We cannot wait to go back!!!

Absolutely an Amazing stay with family!
The rental house was absolutely Stunning! The house was very well maintained and clean. The layout was spectacular for our family vacation. Very kid friendly- one guest room provided 4 built in bunks with a full bed as well. We enjoyed staying in the guest house away from kids to have our privacy and some adult time on vacation. Awesome garage, fantastic pool, amazing pool house with really cool popcorn machine and vending machines. Overall, this is the absolute perfect vacation home for a family vacation, or for an adults only vacation to entertain and relax in luxury!

Five-Star Resort Style Home!
The pictures do not do justice to this fabulous home! We stayed with our family this Spring and it was the perfect location for us to get around. It was a short drive away from some of the best restaurants, shopping, hiking and nightlife Arizona has to offer. The house is gorgeously decorated, comfortable seating areas/beds and immaculately clean. We wanted to move in! The layout was perfect for entertaining and the house had everything we needed and more. The patio area is absolute paradise and we spent as much time as we could outside. From the pool house and pool to the outdoor seating and grill, we felt like we were at a five-star resort. What a dream, we cannot wait to visit again soon! Thank you again!

Fantastic home!

Stunning, Amazing Accommodations, Great Location
This property exceeded our expectations in every way. It is perfect for a few couples or a family vacation. The home is very well appointed with all the comforts of a five star resort. It is centrally located and close to many attractions in the area. Although, you will never want to leave.
