Relax and get a way from everyone with this spacious off grid 2+ bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with access to the atv trails. South Branch Lake is less than 5 miles from the camp for swimming, boating and fishing. If you enjoy hiking or mountain biking, you will find miles of old logging roads that head to Mattamiscontis Mountain and beyond. If you are looking to see tourists, then this is not the place for you. The nearest gas station and convenience store is 20 minutes away in the town of Howland. Located in Seboeis Maine with a population of about 30 people, you will not be bothered here. The is an adventure. The camp is powered by solar with a propane generator and has a modern propane cook stove with convection oven and propane frig. You will need to travel about 3 miles on a gravel road to get to the cabin. You will need a vehicle that has some clearance to avoid some areas of the road with rocks. A Subaru or similar vehicle will have no problem. The road to the camp is gated. You will be provided a key to the gate and will be required to keep the gate locked. Pete and Phil,Thank you! This property was perfect for us. No matter what you fancy, this camp has every amenity you need to be comfortable at home and sustain yourself for the duration. 80acres ot Maine woods all to yourself. We came for the woods and the trails and had an amazing time. OHRV BASE CAMP HEAVEN! Trails on property lead to ITS82 and 83 arteries, and many other novice, techanical, mud trails close by, and many new trails to explore. Theres days of riding for everyone. Area towns are user friendly, with acess on most main roads. Gas and food offered throughout the area, accessible from trails. Non Ethanol gas yay down the road in Howland! This place is set up for anyone that wants to come to the woods. Wildlife???
Attention Hunters....There is alot of game here around the property. I saw deer more than once. Plenty of bear and deer scat around.
Whether your from city or a woodsman this is a must stop destination for an unforgettable outdoor expreience. Pete and Phil will take care of you..They certainly exceeded my expectations as our host. They grew up in the area, take pride in sharing there local knowledge, cant really ask for more.

About the host
Hosted by Peter
Born and raised in Maine. My brother and I own a family business which our dad started back in 1974.
Why they chose this property
I grew up at my families cabin on South Branch Lake in Seboeis Plantation Maine. My brother and I had the chance to purchase this off grid cabin in 2018. It is so peaceful here, at night, you will be amazed as you sit around the camp fire how quiet it is. On clear nights, the stars in the sky are amazing.
What makes this property unique
This cabin is powered by a full solar system. It is located behind a gate and at the end of Hare Lane, so the chances of seeing anyone is as remote as the camp is. My brother and I both have hectic lives so when we need to get a way from it all, this is the place.
