Ideally situated one block to the beach & just down the road from the downtown shopping/restaurant district, Oak Shade is a meticulously maintained property within easy walking distance to historic downtown Ocean Springs, as well as beautiful Front Beach.

Newly renovated, Oak Shade is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with friends and family.

Inside Oak Shade's The Queen Suite, you will find a firm, yet comfortable queen-size bed with luxurious bedding inside a private bedroom with flatscreen Smart TV with YouTube TV and Roku, and a spacious living room full of natural light with a fabulous library of books for your enjoyment. The library shelves open to reveal a Murphy bed for additional sleeping accommodations.

The full bath includes a standing shower, and plush bathrobes are provided.

The Queen Suite's living room features comfortable seating situated around a large flat-screen Smart TV with YouTube TV and Roku, a breakfast/working nook, and a kitchenette.

Other features of the freshly renovated space decorated in soothing shades of white, gold, and grey, boasts all new furniture and includes a Nest heating/cooling system, key-less electronic keypad entry to the suite, one designated off-street parking space, mini-fridge, microwave, glassware, flatware, plates/bowls, cheese platter with knives, mugs, and a full-size drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee.

***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

***There should be no more than four people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties of any kind. We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

One free parking space is provided for the Queen Suite. Street parking is not allowed near Oakshade. For guests who plan on having more than one vehicle at a time during their stay, a public parking lot must be used or street parking where allowed.

A Cozy Beach Get-Away!

We had such a wonderful time! The Queen Suite is cozy, clean and comfortable. It had everything we need. Plus, just a few minutes walk to the beach or nearby restaurants. There's so much to do in this artsy and relaxed community. Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time. We'll definitely be back!

Getaway in Ocean Springs

My husband and I planned a last minute getaway weekend in Ocean Springs. This was the perfect place! Close enough to walk to all the restaurants and shops but far away enough to be private and secluded. We were right by the beach and could walk there too. Overall it was a great place to stay and we had a great time!

Lovely neighborhood and one mile walk from downtown. Take a 5 minute walk for sunset on the beach. Excellent cottage, comfort and atmosphere. Internet tended to have problems. I'll definitely stsy here agaun!

Cozy Place Close to Downtown

Great little house close to downtown for festivities with availability to rent golf carts. Only downside is parking-there is only one small space, so if you have 2 vehicles or visitors, they have to find somewhere else to park.

Such a convenient stay for us! Nice to have our own parking spot steps from our Queen Suite unit, neighborhood was nice to walk around plus Oakshade is located a block off Washington & all those shops & eat spots. Clean, well stocked & comfy for us. We hope to return to Oakshade!

Had a great time! The host communicated easy to follow instructions prior to check in and check out and made the process a breeze! The queen suite was cute, clean, and quiet! We were walking distance to the beach and downtown. The neighborhood was very safe with many beautiful homes and friendly neighbors. We highly recommended and hope to visit again!

Great space in ideal location

Check in was a breeze-I appreciated the notice that the suite was ready a bit early as I arrived in town a bit early and had an early dinner reservation—perfect timing. The suite is perfectly situated within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants and Front Beach. Everything else was a short drive (few minutes) to Biloxi, Gulfport, D’Iberville, Gautier. Everything in the suite was on point—comfortable bed, great lounging living room area, useful kitchenette, lovely private patio off the bedroom. Lots of extra touches that made the stay easy and enjoyable. My only suggestion would be for a sturdier dining table—it was quite wobbly and not really usable for meals. The local Ocean Springs residents were so friendly and welcoming at restaurant happy hour and sitting on the beach at sunset and after dark was amazing. I will most certainly make this a recurring weekend getaway, and look forward to booking Oak Shade again.

Cute and convenient

Very cute place, very close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Only thing was my wife said a woman would not be able to wash her hair there because of the water pressure but overall a great little place.

Just perfect!

Great location! Took a short morning walk to the beach and it was wonderful! Everything was clean and tidy, and the air conditioner was nice and cool! Enjoyed the kitchenette as well and the Murphy bed was super comfortable! Very close to downtown as well, and Chris was very responsive and helpful with tips! Would stay here again for sure!

Perfect location in Ocean Springs.

Perfectly located between the beach and downtown. Such a great little town. Excellent restaurants, shops and bars. The locals were amazingly welcoming! Highly recommend Patrick’s, the Red Apple, Gil’s and the Lady May.
