Charming Private Beach Cottage just 1 1/2 blocks to the Beach with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows to enjoy those fabulous ocean breezes! This home is special because it feels so private. Some of the windows look out at lovely plants and flowers. The home sits above the street behind so there is more privacy and better breezes and you can see the colors of the sky at sunset. You are buffered from the front home by the private yard and 2 car garage. There are only two steps up to the front door. Queen bed in the bedroom and a Room and Board sofa queen bed in the Living Room offers additional comfortable sleeping. Room A/C available but can be stored if not needed. Parking in the driveway for one car only in front of the single garage. Full kitchen with microwave, gas oven & stove, full size refrigerator and ample cook ware, dishes, utensils for meal preparation. Cable TV, Wi-Fi and internet accessible! Walk to gourmet dining, and boutiques. Pedal bike and electric bike rentals close by for cycling on the strand! This home is a joy to live in! Please give notice to book.

Wonderful

Had a great three week stay. The cottage was very clean and bright, a short walk to the beach and Redondo Pier. There was ample parking on the street, and groceries, restaurants and other conveniences close by. Rita was a great host and always available if needed. There were laundry facilities on premises. I’m hoping to return again in the future.

Lovely place

We loved this cottage. The location is great. It was just a short walk to the beach and the pier with lots of food places. We certainly would stay here again.

Wonderful South Bay Cottage!

Redondo Cottage

The location is fabulous, near veterans park and the beach. We enjoyed a large family gathering for the holiday and we’re happy to have such a nice place to stay nearby.

Beach cottage

Great location. Amenities were as advertised. Bathroom needs some updating and stick vacuum would have been great. Parking in and out of driveway is very challenging.

Amazing Cottage with great location

My daughter and I spent 2 weeks in this charming cottage in July. It was just what we wanted…quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to the beach and the strand. The owner was great with her communication. The onsite laundry was wonderful to have. We’d definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations, Rita!

Comfortable cottage in a great location

Lots of light and privacy. On a nice street, close to the beach, shops, etc. The bed and sofa bed were both comfortable and the small kitchen was functional. The laundry room was also handy and well-equipped.

Amazing In Every Way!

We visit South Bay and specifically Redondo Beach often and this is a perfect place to stay. The home is spacious, fully equipped and so comfortable. Location is tremendous and Rita is an exceptional host. We will definitely be back - a lot!

Cozy and convenient

Cozy cottage in very convenient and safe area. A couple of blocks to the pier and beach-great restaurants within walking distance too. My husband and I stayed for two week, we were very comfortable and happy to be able to prepare a few meals in the well appointed kitchen. Highly recommended and hope to return.

We had a wonderful 2 months staying in this little cottage!

We loved the location and walked almost everywhere. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach and watch the sunsets. We we’re comfortable the cottage has everything we needed for our 2 month stay. Thank you Rita for everything

Home away from home

Our second time staying at Rita’s cottage was even better than our first. My husband and I felt like we were coming home. Rita’s cottage is very clean and cozy. Ideal for two people. Beautiful and safe neighborhood-two blocks from the ocean. Great restaurants within walking distance. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful cottage and amazing host!

This cottage is in a quiet spot in a beautiful neighborhood easy walking distance to the beach. Parking is easy and everything inside is new and pristine. Rita was very responsive and flexible during my stay. What a godsend!

Great Location, Great Place!

We came to visit relatives who live in Redondo Beach. This location was perfect for walking to the things we like to do. We were only 1 block from the Pier and all it's restaurants, stores and bars! We love to walk and the walk down to Riviera district with great food, beverage and store spots was 1.5 miles. Hermosa Beach only 2 miles and another 1.5 to Manhattan Beach. The bus also ran to all those location and the pick-up spots were only a half block from the door! The house was great with all the things needed. Best of all the price was worth it!

Comfy cottage

The property was neat and clean with an adorable garden surrounding the cottage. Each morning we could see hummingbirds on the flowering bushes from the living room and kitchen windows. Our flight was delayed by hours and instead of getting in at 10 am, we landed at 8pm. Knowing that it was too late for us to pick up supplies for the next morning, she left us coffee, creamer and croissants for breakfast. She was a great host and got back to us within minutes with any questions. Loved our beach walks and the mattress was super comfortable.

THE BEST, ONCE AGAIN!!!

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed in Rita’s amazing little cottage. It was fantastic once again and meeting Rita in person made it even more perfect. Rita is such a kind and personable lady and felt immediately like we were old friends! As I said in a past review, the cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything needed. Wonderful location

3 of us spent a week here and it was delightful. The cottage is a very short walk to the beach and the Redondo Pier. Beach towels and beach chairs were thoughtfully provided, as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. There are many great restaurants in the area, but it was nice to start the day off with an omelet and coffee. We will definately stay here again.

ADORABLE, COMFORTABLE AND IMMACULATE COTTAGE WITH THE BEST LOCATION!

We were impressed with this adorable cottage from the moment we walked up the driveway. Love the cottage, in and out and the landscaping has been done in great taste! Could walk everywhere-all the beaches, restaurants, Riviera Village. The cottage is perfect for two people. The bed and pillows were so comfy and slept wonderfully! Everything needed was in the kitchen and Rita even left goodies, coffee, and toiletries. Rita is the best communicator and returns phone calls promptly. Before we arrived, she even called to see what we liked to drink in the morning. Flowers were on the table along with all the instructions needed to make our stay the best. We will certainly reach out to Rita again in hopes that we can make her little cottage our home when visiting our son in Redondo Beach! Thanks Rita for everything! Sharon and Dave

Why they chose this property

I bought this property so my brother, sister, mom and myself could all live together ( 3 units total). But my mom has passed away and my brother and sister prefer Colorado, so I spend a lot of time there. I fell in love with the place because of the old world charm.
