Fishermen's Paradise is just that and more! Perfect place for the peace and quite. Large home that sits on the Carrabelle River. Includes a Boat Dock and lift, Boat Ramp and screened in fish cleaning table. Lovely 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 Bath, Separate living room area with fireplace and air hockey table for the kids. Hugh Screened front porch for relaxing after a long day fishing or Beaching. Excellent fresh water fishing from the dock or if you want to travel to the Gulf from here is just a 30 minute ride. Leave you boat on the lift for more fishing tomorrow. Beautiful Kitchen well equipped to prepare you fresh catch. Large Master Bedroom with King Bed, sunken tub with jets and large separate shower. This home is located about 3 miles down Mill Road which just got paved, Tates Hell Forrest is just across the River. Private and secluded for the getaway you have been needing!

Comfy cottage

Comfortable and peaceful stay. Nice home with plenty of room for our family of 6. Peaceful area and pretty view of the river from the lovely back porch. Close enough to town by car but takes a bit of travel time going down river by boat. The locals in Carrabelle and surrounding areas are very nice, we enjoyed talking to so many people..

Review of Different Location

The morning of our check in we received a call that we wouldn't be able to stay at Fishermans Paradise due to exterminators coming in but there was another property available (Fishermans Rest). Fishermans Rest was a gated property in a convenient location. Upon arrival, a neighbor was parked in our spot so we had to squeeze in but the neighbor was super nice and apologized the next morning. The location had a common pool which was nice for the kids. I was traveling with my two children (10 and 7) and I picked up their Aunt and her four children (4, 4, 10, 12). With that many kids it can get pretty loud so I was on edge the entire time because I didn't want to disturb the neighbors (this was why we chose to stay at Fishermans Paradise originally so the kids could run around)but they really enjoyed the pool area . At one point during our stay, I was out getting groceries, leaving my sister in law at the house. I got a phone call from Patty at Sandy Beach Properties that a neighbor contacted them and reported a woman walking into the house smoking. I immediately called my sister in law and she claimed that the cigarette wasn't lit when she walked into the house, however she was still in the wrong for smoking that close to the door to begin with. After that, the neighbor seemed bothered by us which was really disappointing to me since I didn't do anything wrong but just a warning - follow the rules and make sure your guests are clear on all of the rules also! Sandy Beach Properties in general were very pleasant to deal with. Their communication is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful. The home we stayed in was stocked well with the things we needed and was very clean. I would absolutely recommend staying at one of their properties if you are in the area.

Weekend Hunting Trip

We decided to go for a weekend hunting trip and decided on this rental. It suited our needs perfectly. We fished a little on the dock and my husband and family did some hunting, while I stayed and enjoyed some quiet and relaxation. We will be looking at coming back again soon.

Excellent property and location!

The one regret we had is that our trip was too short! We have rented numerous properties in Carrabelle over the years and this home ranks #1 now. The location was beautiful and extremely peaceful. The house was comfortable, inviting and had everything we wanted. The boat lift and private ramp made it very convenient for us. The cleanliness is just as important and it was definitely super clean. 5 stars all around and well deserved! We will be back!

Beautiful and quiet!

Our stay was amazing. We sliced the property so much I called and asked if it was for sale. The porch is a dream porch and the kitchen is big and inviting. The backyard is big and spacious so kids can play. The view is beautiful! Overall it was a win win and we will be coming back.

Beautiful location, spacious house, 3rd bedroom is not private

The location was gorgeous and you could sit all day on the screened in back porch and take in the view. Great to have a boat dock with a boat lift. Quiet, serene and lots of space for family to gather. Downside to this location is that the 3rd bedroom (the one w/bunk beds) is only accessible through the 2nd bedroom. And the 2nd full bathroom is only accessible through this adjoining "3rd bedroom." This would be fine if you are traveling with young children, but not the set up that parents and 2 teenage girls find comfortable/does not give privacy.
