Loved our stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at this villa. Check in was easy and straightforward and the villa is huge - 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The grounds are big too with 2 x tennis courts, a pool, a ping pong table and a small park. It is a little dated, but very clean and had everything that we needed. Only a 15 Minute walk to the centre. We will definitely look to stay here again. Thank you.

Estadia positiva com pontos a melhorar.
A estadia correu bem, o único ponto negativo foi a existência de superfícies cortantes quer no interior quer no exterior da piscina, originando nos primeiros dois dias cortes em duas crianças e um adulto. Tivemos maior cuidado e adquirimos proteções para os pés para as crianças. De resto, apenas umas quebras de luz mas nada de grave... Moradia com grande potencial e algumas melhorias a serem efectuadas, mas a estadia foi positiva na sua globalidade.

Grande maison avec travaux à prévoir
La maison est très grande et agréable. Idéale pour deux familles. Même si les hôtes étaient à chaque fois disponibles pour réparer un électroménager défaillant ou apporter quelque chose de manquant, la maison demande des travaux de rénovation (électricité et piscine). Ce sont des défaillances qui perdurent depuis des années si on regarde les commentaires. C’est vraiment dommage (et cela peut être dangereux pour l’électricité).

Un séjour agréable
Très belle villa bien située. La piscine est assez grande et en soit, tout fonctionne assez bien. Mes amis et moi étions d’accords pour dire qu’avec quelques petits réglages cela pour vraiment être parfait. Par exemple nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude dans les douches. Étant donné qu’il faisait chaud l’eau tiède suffisait mais bon. Impossible de lancer une machine pendant qu’un téléphone charge ou que le moindre autre appareil est en marche. La tv n’était pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions; une ancienne télé carrée, pas très grave puisque nous ne comptions pas l’utiliser énormément mais ducoup nous ne l’avons pas utilisée dutout. Autre petit détail, il n’y avait aucun produit dans la cuisine tel que sel, poivre, huile etc…. Nous sommes donc allés en acheter (l’Intermarché le plus proche est d’ailleurs un supermarché de touristes avec des prix presque exorbitants) que nous n’avons bien sûr pas pu finir. Pour finir le frigo réfrigérais assez mal. L’eau que nous mettions au frais n’étais jamais fraîche et finissait au congélateur. En résumé nous avons passé un excellent séjour ces petits détails nous ont à peine dérangés mais nous pensons que ce sont des choses qui peuvent être améliorées pour un peu plus de confort. Les propriétaires quand à eux étant vraiment très gentils. Très conciliants et accueillant. Merci à eux pour ce bon moment.

very nice villa with lots of space
We can only recommend this house. The contact with the owners was smooth and uncomplicated, they were always available by email for questions. The house is spacious and well suited for a large family or two families or a group of friends. Large living room, large terrace with barbecue area, lots of garden and tennis court for work out. Nice pool, equipment is available. The house was immaculately clean and has 4 spacious bathrooms. In the kitchen all necessary utensils are available. The area is wonderful and full of villas with beautiful gardens, nice walkways to the town and the town beach. Shops are in the immediate vicinity. We had a great time here! thanks a lot!

Casa da década de 70 sem qualquer renovação e por isso há coisas que não funcionam muito bem, tal como a piscina que apesar de ser de boa dimensão e limpa, tem azulejos cortantes. Tem um potencial enorme, mas não nas condições em que se encontra.

Très chouette propriété, nous étions 10 et sommes restées 10 jours. Tout était comme dans la description, le seul bémol est qu'il n'y a absolument rien dans la cuisine (comme du sel, huile,...) et le WIFI est très mauvais. A part cela, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

We hired both villas for a family of 18 and had an amazing time The villas are in an older style however they offer all you need for a great family holiday in a good location with easy access to town I would recommend these villas to anyone who wants to relax in amazing surroundings

Large villa with stunning pool
We spent 2 weeks in the villa and with 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms(2 en-suite) there was plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 children.Although the villa is simply furnished there is everything you need and it was lovely and clean with plenty of clean towels/sheets etc.The outside space is great with a tennis court & badminton court that has a squash wall, this also doubled as a football pitch for our grand children there is also a table tennis table and basketball hoop and plenty of equipment for all of the activities plus there are also swings/slide/seesaw for younger children.Joao kept us well informed of everything and his parents kept the place ticking over and fixing any small problems like when the washer broke down his mum came in took all our washing washed it and ironed it as well!! then supplied us with a tray of fresh figs plus a basket of fresh mulberries to say sorry that the washer was broken(it was fixed early in the second week).The pool is stunning and lovely and clean in fact it was cleaned each week we were there, the grandchildren loved it and only got out to go to bed.Carvoeiro is a pretty little place with plenty of good places to eat it takes about 15mins to walk down to the town but we advise a taxi back as its all uphill the taxi was about 5-7 euros.The boardwalk above the town is worth a visit to see the stunning rock formations/caves etc and to watch the locals diving off the cliffs.We had a fantastic time and would recommend the villa to anyone .Thanks Joao for a lovey time please thank your mum and dad for all their hard work.Maureen & Stu.

Great family home, ideal for large groups
Perfect villa for a large group or family. All the rooms are very generous in size with plenty of bathrooms. The tennis and badminton court are a real bonus even if not in pristine condition, what better way to active during your stay. The pool is excellent. The villa is a little "tired" but does represent fantastic value for money. The location also suited us well, a 15 minute walk into the town is perfect for walking to and more importantly back from your evening meal. Don't forget to walk the other way to the wonderful Restaurant de Milho which is only 5 minutes away. The villa is a few minutes drive from the intermarche supermarket which is great for stocking up for your holiday food and drink! We will definitely be returning!
