Close to town, but away from the noise sits Country Charm C, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and two twin beds in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi.

The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy country cabin.

The indoor jetted tub is currently not working at Country Charm C.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

We had a wonderful time, however, there were definitely pros and cons. Pros: Location was excellent. Cabin was a two minute drive into town. Beds were comfortable and it was spacious enough for a family of four. There was a grill with propane and plenty of pots and pans. Cabin was cute with a homey feel. Cons: The TV in the main bedroom has no remote, cable, antenna or ability to stream, rendering it useless. The fireplace is electric, not wood burning, and it had an unsightly cord to plug in. We had to unplug it each time to turn off. The hot tub is broken and appears it’s been broken for quite some time. The cleanliness of the property was not great. There were cobwebs in the wall decor above bed and in shower stall. The table was really, really dirty with a sticky substance caked on it. There was no tub for kids and no anti-slip shower mat or bath mats. There was not enough silverware for family of 4 (3 spoons) and no pantry or cabinet space for food storage. There was no closet to store clothes or bags, just an open rack with one hanger in the main bedroom. We enjoyed our stay but a few minor tweaks would make it much more enjoyable.

I like the large porch, having a swing and rocking chairs, gives a nice country feeling. Nice open plan inside with a loft. Very clean, didn't see not even one bug. Love the little kitchen. The bathroom toilet seat needs updating though. Overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay.

Bare bones basic

The cabin is clean. But it is a bare bones basic cabin, with no extras whatsoever. Only one pillow per “person” per bed-(2) for a king size bed and (1) per twin bed. And 2 towels were given for a family of 4 for a 3 night stay. No extra linens or blankets anywhere. No washer/dryer. The tub does not work. The location is very centrally located to downtown Helen, only a 2 minute drive. Overall-3/5 stars. Would have been 5/5 is it wasn’t so bare.

The cabin is roomy and comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The in-town location makes it very convenient, and even walkable to town if you enjoy a stroll. Would definitely recommend

Only downside would be one bathroom, but for a couple this is ideal. Half a mile from downtown Helen, but off the beaten path enough to enjoy the quiet mountain country side. Would definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to get away... the Rental staff were the best I’ve ever dealt with, Jessica was Great..

Ok stay

The cabin was fine, nothing luxurious, but met our needs. It was a rather long walk into Helen & the way back is up a very steep hill, so we had to drive everywhere & paid to park, but it was fine. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with & we used the gas grill a few times too. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs, drinking coffee in the mornings.

The cabin is located centrally in the town of Helen, within walking distance of most of the city, and a short drive away from Unicoi State Park. The cabin itself was outstanding. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

3 Night Stay At Country Charm C Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was cute, warm and cozy. BUT, we were not able to connect with the Wi-Fi our first night!! There were no instructions ANYWHERE in the cabin. The next morning, you did send a service person to help us get connected, which he did!! The floors were not cleaned well. When we arrived, we found sand and dirt on the living room and bedroom floors downstairs. On our last day at the cabin, as we were packing up our things, I even found a pair of soiled lady's underpants, in plain view, on the floor behind the dresser!!! (There is a big open space behind the dresser where the two inner walls meet at a 90-degree angle! It probably fell out of someone's suitcase! BUT NOT MINE!!! Although we had originally planned on having four people in the cabin for our three-night stay, it ended up being just the two of us. That may have been a good thing, because the ONE thin 2-inch square bar of soap that was in the bathroom when we arrived, would not have been nearly enough soap for four people to shower or bathe and wash hands for three nights!! That one bar of soap was barely enough for the two of us!! Like I wrote at the beginning, the cabin is cute, warm, and cozy!! With a better clean-up job done after each group leaves, AND, when more than two people stay for 3 or more nights, more than one thin two-inch square bar of soap is needed, AND, last, but not least, directions for connecting to the wi-fi should be displayed on the wall in the living room where it can be easily found! Helen is a fun place to visit, eat, shop, and explore!! We did enjoy our stay in Helen!!!

Great Cabin for Exploring Helen

Cabin was in a great location within walking distance to Helen. We happened to book during the Helen Christmas Parade and enjoyed all the shops and restaurants before watching the parade, then we’re able to walk back without having to deal with the traffic and parking in town.

Reviewer Comments: There were many informational sheets as to the access to WiFi, sanitizing practices that sounded good, but the actual cleanliness and access were not consistent with what was stated in the disclosures. Excessive dirt, hair and trash under the bed and furniture. There was a “sanitized” tissue over the seat of the toilet, but dark mildew rings under the seat. There was mold around the faucets and dust and buildup on the countertops and cobwebs. The marketing pictured a jetted tub that was non-functional.
