This beautiful, west-facing waterback home, with public beach access, is the perfect vacation spot for you and your family. The home's location is a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk but is situated away from the busyness of the downtown strip. Lounge peacefully on your deck and watch the sunset, or ride bikes along the boardwalk. Enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, or boating right outside your front door.

Family gathering

We had a most amazing time staying at this beautiful property!! It exceeded expectations in every way! The house is very well equipped; everything from all you would dream of in the kitchen to chairs for around the fire pit. Tammy was very helpful answering all of my many questions ahead of time.

Loved the location. Walking distance to town.

The extended accommodations behind the house should be deleted from the listing as it was not habitable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Loved it. We fixed the screen door in the basement as it was banging a lot and did not fit the door frame. The towel bars were not on their brackets, so no where to hang towels. The ceiling fan was loaded with dust. In the master bedroom, there was not a proper curtain. BBQ was really dirty. With this said, our family had a really great time.

Excellent location, accommodations & host! Just Wow!

It was perfect location for our 15 days on Sylvan Lake. We saw amazing sunsets from the deck, from kayaks/paddle boards on the lake and from the house. We had fires in the fire pit, fires in the fireplace and tabletop fires on the deck. Access to the lake was amazing… just walk out the door and you were there. We spent hours in the water and on the beach. The location was perfect. We could walk or drive to town, walk on the lake shore or just take a stroll through the community. Everyone was friendly. The house was perfect for our family of grandparents, parents and 3 teenagers. Everyone had more than enough space. There was ample room to be together, while offering plenty of room to get away for me-time. So many amenities were supplied at the house. The upstairs kitchen lacked for nothing. We used it a lot. (There are 2 kitchens in the house. We only needed to use the refrigerator in the second kitchen. Teenagers need lots of food and drinks.) We grilled many times on the back deck off the kitchen. Mealtime was a breeze with the spacious kitchen. The host was magnificent! Tammy was so easy and fun to communicate with. She answered immediately when contacted and offered immediate solutions to any request or question. I can’t imagine any other host that could be more attentive. All of our needs were met and/or exceeded. It was a unique, relaxing and memorable vacation! I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Vacation on the Lake

We had a fabulous vacation in Sylvan Lake. The host was fantastic and very responsive and accommodating. What a perfect location and the home was wonderfully set up for a large family or for a large group. The two Kitchens were well stocked and we enjoyed the ability to feel like we were at home away from home. Very pleased with the detail and all the extras in This Home.

Amazing location

Weather was phenomenal, beach across the street had amazing sunsets and easy to watch the kids. Lawn chairs, fire pit, wood all provided, so didn’t need to pack much bulky stuff. High chairs and lots of kitchen ‘stuff’. Lots of fans to move air around. Big family seating in kitchen. Nice space separation, great deck. Thanks for a great stay!

Canada day stay

We had our kids and grandkids all there for a Canada day long weekend. Walked with the whole family to the downtown activities and spend a lot off time on the beach ⛱️

Family Vacation Home

You can’t beat the location of this home for a family or large group holiday. Right across from the beach with the best, unobstructed view of the lake and beautiful sunsets daily. House has wonderful spaces to enjoy time together and to spread out and enjoy activities separately. Well stocked kitchen upstairs and full suite with kitchen downstairs. Host is easy to contact and ensures you and your guests have all your needs met. Our third year there and love it every time.

This property is just a wonderful place to relax with family and enjoy the lake view with its breathtaking sunsets. It has enough room to accommodate everyone, a spacious deck for relaxing and is mere steps away from the lake.

Beautiful sunset

A very very short walk across a quiet road to the lake. Could not have been closer. Tammy is a very helpful, friendly owner, checked in by text to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed. The house is stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. Lots of kitchen utensils. We were very happy with everything and had lots of fun. We would stay there again.

Family Get together

Our family get together was amazing! The location was excellent as well as the house. Loved that we could just walk a few steps and we were at the beach! We had the best holiday! The host was great and answered all of questions. We would love to go back!

Family Gathering

We rented this property to stay at during a family wedding that was being held locally. It was the perfect size for our group. The multiple bedroom spaces, the outdoor space and location was perfect for the whole family. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Sylvan Lake beachfront stay

Awesome home to gather with family and friends and enjoy time together by the lake. Lots of space, comfortable, home away from home. Patio overlooking lake makes for beautiful views, day and night. Love the sunsets. Our family will be back. Owner is quick to respond and helpful, and makes sure you enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed our 3rd stay for a week this time. It is a fabulous location and spacious home. It would be nice to have air conditioning but thankfully a few evenings cooled down because of late evening rain.

Awesome Birthday Celebration

This was our second stay here, and everything was perfect. Able to accommodate our whole family. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Just a perfect week right in front of the beach for easy access. So close to beach, easy to walk back and forth to house for any needs. Highly recommend for some down time, and just relaxing.

Absolutely amazing property with superb location with beach across the street and so well equipped

We have nothing but good to say about our stay at this property in Sylvan Lake. It was everything as shown in the photos. Checking in was flawless and we were thrilled with all the amenities. We would love to return to this piece of paradise.

Fantastic family getaway

We stayed over Christmas and New Years. The owner had the cottage decorated (professionally?). It was beautiful. We had ample wood for roaring fires daily as the temps were well below 30 C most days. If it had been nicer we would have taken advantage of the outside activities such as skating and ice fishing. I cooked Christmas dinner and had everything I needed in the kitchen. I would LOVE to go back and do a summer vacation stay as the beach is right out front. Tammy was incredible to deal with and answered any and all questions quickly. Loved this stay.

Family fun

What an amazing view! Sylvan Lake is so beautiful and this property is in a perfect place to enjoy the beach, water and sunsets. The water is so clear and shallow so we didn’t have to worry about our children. We also love that the bottom is sandy. We had 3 generations of family there and everyone found something fun to do. It helped that the weather was incredible. The hosts have thought of everything! We had lots of room to visit and play games. There is a huge dining table where we enjoyed family meals together and at the end of the day we fell into our very comfy beds and all slept beautifully. We especially love that our pets could come and enjoy this with us! We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to coming back!

Great gem in Sylvan Lake

This property was fantastic in terms of location and space. Great dining room and living area and the basement and bedrooms were roomy and spacious. It was right across from a small beach with unobstructed views of the lake, so sitting out on the front porch at night with the fire going was amazing. The only thing that would have made it better was that the showers were a little strange, sometimes hardly any water would come out and it was hard to get the temperature right. The bathrooms were also very dated and old, and definitely in need of a renovation. It was hot while we were there, and there was no AC, but there was a good breeze from the lake and lots of fans. The outdoor furniture looking out onto the lake is VERY hard to sit on, and even extra cushions from inside couldn't save how uncomfortable it was. Such a shame because its the best part of the property, they need a great comfy sectional out there. A note on the master bedroom--we had our toddler daughter staying with us in the room and there was a very high window that had a little blind but still made the room very bright when we put her down to sleep. Usually we bring our own black out curtains when we travel to block out as much light as possible, but we couldn't even reach this window to make the room totally dark. Communication with the host was fantastic, they were always on hand and answered any questions, plus let us check in early. Lots of towels and blankets. There was sand everywhere on the floor and I did wonder if they had been washed, but sand might be inevitable when it is so close to the beach. I also loved that they allowed dogs, as so few places in Sylvan seem to, so this was a great bonus. I would recommend to anyone looking for a bigger house in Sylvan Lake to stay here, as it had tons of space, great location and a well appointed kitchen.

Amazing house, view and beach

The house is lovely, beautifully decorated….very well stocked! Lots of room especially with the basement suite. The location is perfect with the beach right across a quiet road! We would definitely stay at Tammy’s house again!

Halcyon Days

We sought a well-appointed, spacious and convenient vacation spot, close to a large body of water, suitable for children, and this place easily accommodated our needs. Aaccess to the beach across the street was perfect, and the shallow, sandy waters enabled the youngsters to play happily all day with minimal supervision. Sunsets were spectacular fresh m the deck. The barbecue was relatively new with plenty of fuel. The wood fireplace and outdoor fire pit were a splendid touch, stocked with excellent dry firewood. The independent basement suite worked very well for the couple with a young toddler, and the additional fridge was a great for a large group. Overall we had a wonderful time and will be back.
