About this property
Contemporary & rustic lodge at base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**
***Property may be rented once in any 31 day period.***
This 3,400-sf, three-bedroom Western contemporary home at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the exclusive Shooting Star development has an eclectic and interesting art collection and an efficient layout that allows for both intimacy and entertaining.
Walking in the front door of this home, an impressionistic painting of an agrarian landscape done in soft colors greets you and sets the tone of the cabin’s décor—casually charming, with a Western twist. But the cabin’s décor becomes irrelevant as you continue from the foyer into the adjacent great room, where a two-story wall of floor-to-ceiling windows frames the peaks of the southern Tetons. While these windows allow for maximum views of the outside landscape, because they are tinted on the outside, they also allow for interior privacy.
After soaking in the views, you’ll notice the fabulous glass-globed chandelier hanging from a reclaimed timber beam in the center of the room.
Contained within the great room are Fish Creek Lodge 63’s kitchen and dining and living areas. The living area has an abundance of seating around a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace and French doors that open to an outdoor terrace with a hot tub. The dining area includes a live-edge walnut table with seating for 10. In the kitchen, the appliances are Wolf and Sub-Zero. There is a casual bar area with a wine refrigerator and seating for four.
Between this great room and the cabin’s attached two-car garage is the junior master suite, which has a queen sized bed, coffered ceilings, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
Climbing the stairs to this cabin’s second floor, a grandfather clock on the landing greets you. To the south is the master suite. A guest suite with two twin beds that can be converted into a king size bed is to the north. Between these two suites is a cozy media room with books ranging from The Iliad to The Outsiders. There’s a giant flat-screen television in this room, but it’s two colorful, mixed media art works by Parisian artist Corinne Dalle-Ore above the sectional sofa that you’ll likely notice first.
The second-floor guest suite includes a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a double vanity, a separate WC, and a generous walk-in travertine shower. Interior designer Jacque Jenkins-Stireman devised a way for the headboards of this suite’s two twin beds to be slid together to make a king size bed. Tell us what set-up you want in this suite and we’ll have it ready for you.
At the opposite end of the cabin from this guest suite is the master suite, which has a writing desk and, in front of a stone, gas-burning fireplace, a sitting area where you might be tempted to stay all day if you couldn’t see the mountains rising outside the room’s windows. The master bathroom has a deep soaking tub, large walk-in shower, and generous double vanity.
Grand Teton National Park is two miles down the road from Fish Creek Lodge 63. Both the Town of Jackson and the charming community of Wilson are a 20-minute drive, and also on a paved bike path. The restaurants, shops, and spas of Teton Village are a 15-minute walk or short shuttle ride away.
