Absolutely Beachin' Summer Stunner! Gorgeous Townhome-Beach Access, View Deck

Come stay at this high end condo located just steps from the community's private beach access. This well kept home is in a small (only 50 units) community complex on the bluff above the beach featuring a pool and spa. It's a two minute walk from the front door to the exclusive beach stair access. Mid-way down the beach stairs is a furnished view deck for you to relax and enjoy the sunset and surf. The beach is uncrowded and has an excellent surf break.
This 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo sleeps 5. The kitchen has been recently renovated (late 2021) including beautiful new flooring throughout the lower level. Open floor plan is spacious and luxurious. You’ll love the fireplace on a cool evening. The master bedroom features a very comfortable king bed and fantastic bathroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds (twin on top, full on bottom) plus a twin trundle. The kids will love to chill in the "secret" loft which includes plush beanbags and a tv. The community complex is gated and secure with lush landscaping. The rental includes 2 assigned parking spaces. This home has all the amenities and comforts of home: a large TV in living room & tv in master bedroom, high speed wireless internet and a charming beach cottage feel. This condo is very close to the pool and surfboards and boogie boards are available for you to enjoy.
It is walking distance to the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds/Racetrack, the Cedros design district and many excellent restaurants. It is centrally located with less than a 30 minute drive to Legoland, Sea World, the amazing San Diego Zoo, Downtown Gaslamp district and the ballpark. Grocery stores, a movie theater and shopping are all within 5 miles.
The best amenity is private beach access within the gates of the community. On site pool for you to soak in the San Diego sunshine.

Spring Break beach stay

Overall the stay was perfect. Although the pool and hot tub were not heating up while we were there, we enjoyed the space and location to the beach and other areas of interest. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Family Destination

The condo is situated in a complex only steps away from a lovely beach. There is also a pool and hot tub our girls enjoyed. The condo was well equipped for families, comfortable and spacious. Stubbs also provides access to beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and umbrellas. We have returned home with sweet memories and a unanimous excitement to visit again!

Family spring break getaway

We loved the location. It was about 20-30 minutes to everything for us and easy to get on the interstate. The Qwik Korner nearby has excellent sandwiches! It was nice that the garage and condos were gated. We loved being so close to the ocean and having a pool for kids.

Amazing all around!

Booked this condo during a remodel for me and my two kids, and have extended our stay… wonderfully stocked kitchen, great location, updated condo with all you need. Property managment has been wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great for the Family

The property was as listed and expected. It was set up nice and worked great for us and our 2 young ones. 2 minutes to the private beach stairs and super easy garage access. We would do it again.

Beautiful, spacious, so close to the beach

We stayed 8 nights at this property and it was wonderful! The rental staff is helpful and checked in with us. We didn’t need anything as everything was set up very well. There is plenty to cook with, and I especially appreciated the paper plates and bowls to use for our young kids. There are plenty of towels both for the bath and the pool. There’s equipment like boogie boards and beach chairs. The tv is large and the living room is comfortable. The whole stay felt like a wonderful vacation and the 2 min walk to the private beach entry really couldn’t be beat. I already recommended this property to several friends and our kids are already begging to come back. 10/10 recommended!

Comfortable condo stay

A very comfortable condo, plenty of space, clean, all the equipment needed for a longer term stay. Location is good with a short walk to the beach via the stair cases at either end of the property. The grounds are very nice with well cared for gardens, heated pool and jacuzzi, tennis courts. There are quite a few stairs to navigate in the grounds so if you have a pram or mobility issues it's probably not the best.

Wonderful, Clean Beautiful Property

Great beachy decorated theme place to stay steps from the beach. Super clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Everything remodeled besides the kitchen which could use some updating! Could use a little more couch space but otherwise perfect!

Cute place but Families beware

Lovely place. Great view of the ocean and location. But the full time residents there are harsh on short term renters. We got a call about our towels that were left out for a few hours in the afternoon (not overnight or more than 2-3 hours). Other residents would have wet suits and clothes out overnight and I would see them on my walk in the early morning and evening. The last straw was when a resident came out at 3:30 pm on a Saturday to tell me that it’s too loud for me and my kids to play Marco Polo. The person even said that it’s in the HOA rules that it shouldn’t be played. Another resident came out later, she lived there and had young kids that my kids played with on a different day, and she explained the issue was basically us as short term renters. That there’s a few residents there that always give a hard time. Also that the rule about Marco Polo and other games in the Pool was taken out years ago. Sorry to have to write such dark mark as I loved the idea of living close to the beach with my family. But I just don’t want others to have that same disappointment we had.

Cons: Barbeque Grill was in terrible condition. the worst is in do's and don't, there was a warning that tenant will be fined cleaning fees if the grill is left uncleaned. if that's the case, why was the grill dirty and filthy to begin with. master bedroom shower had issues. the water flow from the shower head was extremely low in comparison to the other bathroom shower. dishwasher is very old and doesn't wash the utensils properly neither it dries them properly. no cable tv. there was a tv but could not get access to any of the regular channels.

Great condo for a family of 4-5 by the beach!

We loved our stay here, the place is well decorated and maintained, renovated and has everything you need including beach towels, beach chairs and even surf boards to use. The condo is in a complex that is on the beach so it’s a few minutes walk. Also within walking distance to Cedros boulevard, which has shops, restaurants and cafes. We would definitely return!!

Absolutely Wonderful

I cannot say enough good about our stay. The property was so clean and equipped with everything we needed. Even cuter than the pictures. The complex is beautiful and friendly. The property managers made it easy to check in and out and is conveniently located right across the street. We loved being a short walk through the complex and down the stairs to the beach without having to cross any streets. The beach was fabulous- great waves for playing, surfing, or boogie boarding. The neighborhood is great with restaurants within walking distance and fun things to do within driving distance. We couldn’t have loved our stay more and would definitely recommend staying here!

Reviewer Comments: This unit was good for a short term rental, not s long term which is what we were. Decor was cute. Unit was very clean. Kitchen was very well equipped with new utensils, dishes, pots and pans. Very nice bed and bathroom linens. BUT living room furniture was not good quality and was very uncomfortable. Electric heating units were inadequate and inefficient for winter months. It was very cold.I will say I would recommend this unit with reservations.
