Wedding Bliss

In town for nieces wedding. House location is convenient to food and fun. Had trouble getting into house, but phone call was returned almost immediately and we were in house and ready to start the fun weekend. There is no TV in sitting area which turned out to be a good thing as we visited more with family without having to talk over blaring tv volume. The kitchen table and chairs were great at meal times. Beds were comfortable and house was clean upon arrival. One problem was no washcloths. Maybe we just didn’t look hard enough? Two issues that gave me pause and I have not encountered w/ rentals, was the security deposit. If I had not opted for$59 non-refundable insurance, I would have had $1500 damage deposit held for nearly 2 months. I understand the party nature of NOLA, but that’s a long time to hold that amount of money. Other issue was the $75/person upcharge if there were more than 6 guests. The house is advertised for 8 people, but no where was the extra charge stated if more than 6 guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quick response to the keypad issue. Will consider this house again next visit to NOLA.

French Quarter Festival

Cool old house with great character in a fantastic neighborhood. Property manager was on top of things. Only complaint is that it is a duplex and the neighbor is hypersensitive about any level of noise. If you want a charming spot in the Garden District for a quiet getaway, this is perfect. If you’re looking to come and get loud and rowdy, this probably isn’t your spot. All that said, it was an enjoyable stay. We loved the walkability of the spot (easy stroll to get beignets and coffee in the morning or drinks and po boys in the evening).

Great Location and beautiful home

We were in NOLA for a huge conference. We need a place that could accommodate our large group of 9. This house was roomy, comfortable, clean and accommodating. Located close to the restaurants and shops on magazine st. The neighborhood was beautiful for a day or night walk or drive to look at the beautiful historic homes. Under 10 min to the convention center. 16 min to the French Qtr. We would recommend this house to large groups!

Dazzling home in cool little neighborhood

The residence is in a quiet and charming neighborhood about a 10 minute drive from the French Quarter. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is the perfect place for a group of adults who need a quiet place to relax after hanging out on Bourbon Street. There are plenty of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance of this house if you just want to chill away from the crowds. The house is spacious and attractively decorated. The dwelling can easily accommodate 8-9 people. The house is located in a very safe area. Most of the neighbors were pretty helpful and friendly. Parking is primarily on the street but we never had any issues with 3 cars in our party. The host is a very nice guy and was very understanding and accommodating in helping us deal with a challenging situation. We had a great time!

Garden District Stay

We had 7 in our group and everyone enjoyed their stay. The house is uniquely divided up for maximum bedroom space and for a group that worked well. We did not use the house for cooking (who would in NOLA?) so cant speak to that, but plenty of coffee cups and glasses. Owner had good suggestions for restaurants and, when asked, provided recommendations for music venues. House was clean and in a quiet neighborhood so felt like we had best of what NOLA has to offer - close enough for craziness but quiet whenever we returned home. The only slight drawback was the sitting area was not great for large groups but because the kitchen and sitting room were adjacent, we made it work. And, again, we did not gather for long periods as we were out and about. Thanks for lending us your gorgeous home! Staying in the Garden District was terrific. Plenty to explore on Magazine.

Beautiful home and excellent location in the Irish Channel!

We loved our stay! The property is just one block off of Magazine Street and a 3 minute walk to St. Charles Avenue which you can catch the street car and head towards Downtown, The French Quarter or towards Audubon Park. This property has been recently updated and was so comfortable and very clean with lots of character and plenty of amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped, however, with so many excellent restaurants within a short walk, we dined out. The kingsize bed was amazingly comfortable and the bathroom included plenty of soft towels, a claw bathtub and a very nice shower with amazing water pressure and even stocked with shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer. There are so many restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, Lush (for the pampering type) boutiques and bars located within walking distance. The neighborhood felt very safe for walking both day and night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definetly book here again in the future.

Outstanding property in the heart of the Irish Channel

We were the first group to rent this property - freshly updated and comfortable. Situated in a residential area with a definite New Orleans vibe. Just a short walk to several outstanding restaurants and Magazine street nightlife and also 3 minute walk to streetcars which gives easy access to French Quarter. If you're spending more than a day in New Orleans I would highly recommend !

Why they chose this property

This place is in a great part of New Orleans. It's quiet but also steps away from all the great spots on Magazine street. You're about 15 minutes from the French Quarter and Bourbon St and only a few blocks from St Charles St and its iconic streetcar.

What makes this property unique

A lot of old New Orleans charm with modern amenities. The house was fully-renovated in 2018. There are three entrances and the floorplan is broken into suites so that if members of your party want more privacy to come and go without using the front door, they can. Keypad door locks provide easy check-in.
