Welcome to "Everybody's Hometown" with your own peaceful cottage nestled in the heart of Prescott; just walking distance to the historical courthouse, Prescott's famous Whisky Row, & all the best restaurants, entertainment & shopping our charming little city has to offer.
This cozy 2 bedroom cottage includes:
~ a covered front porch with plenty of comfy seating & a patio table for entertaining or sitting back & enjoying Prescott's amazing weather
~ a roomie living room with dining nook, flat screen TV with Dish & DVR, full-sofa sleeper & reclining love seats perfect for a relaxing read or chill movie night
~ a full kitchen with gas stove/oven, cafe table & everything else you'd need for creating memorable holiday meals
~ the master bedroom will sooth you to sleep with its king bed
~ the second bedroom can suit additional family/friends needs with 2 single beds
~ the spacious bathroom has tub & shower options & convenient washer & dryer
~ enjoy the fully fenced & private yard which includes a landscaped garden, charcoal grill, additional patio table/chairs & a porch swing

We are located only 1.5 hours from Phoenix or Flagstaff, 1.25 hours from Sedona, 1 hour from Jerome & 2.5 hours from The Grand Canyon.
Prescott has 4 lakes with fishing, walking trails & canoeing/kayaking; the majestic landmarks of Thumb Butte & The Dells just scratch the surface for hiking our enormous networks of trails of all difficulty levels from absolutely easy to extreme & the same can be said for our world famous mountain biking trails.
The summers in Prescott offer endless blue skies with temps averaging in the mid 70’s to 90’s; art festivals downtown on most weekends, farmers market, antiquing, plenty of outdoor seating at the many local bars/restaurants, & many other options we have listed within our calendar of community events/activities (included with your stay).
Spring & Autumn maintain our famous blue skies with temps averaging 50’s to 70’s; flowers blooming or tree colors changing, there is no time in Prescott where you won’t fall in love with what we have to offer.
Our winters have earned us the name “Arizona’s Christmas City”, with our mild 40’s to 60’s averages (yes, still with blue skies) punctuated with occasional snow fall (which never sticks around longer than a few days) & cooler nights. Our downtown activities remain through the season with the highlights of our Court House Lighting where our downtown comes to life beneath festive Christmas lights, & Acker Night where musicians & carolers greet you at most store fronts, & hot cider, coco or toddies warms you in-between.

Keira is Canadian born in the Toronto area and received her Masters in World Development. She stayed in the Great North until she decided to teach english in Japan...
One day in a small village in northern Thailand, one lucky American fella met a sharp and beautiful Canadian gal, and eventually they decided to travel the world together; volunteering, trekking, hitch hiking, farming, camping, working, diving, gardening, bee keeping, animal rescuing, teaching, fencing, hiking, cattle mustering, guiding, climbing, sight seeing, cooking, drinking, dancing, dog mushing, sailing, laughing, rambling, a lot of walking and discovering themselves along the way. Five years and 25 countries later, they decided to move back the North America, get married and start a family. Greg got into Firefighting and EMS and Keira got into Real Estate and then they had a kiddo and the real adventure began!
We bought this property as a way to hold on to something really special in Prescott. We share it with the public because that's the joy we found all over the world and we hope to return the favor. This isn't just a place to stay the night. This is our home, opened to you!

This home, built in 1938, is a piece of Prescott history. I remember trick-or-treating and riding my bike up Pleasant St when I was a child and to now own and be able to share this charm with you is a gift and a privilege. Once you have walked the neighborhood here to the courthouse, I absolutely guarantee you'll know right away how special this town, and this area specifically, is.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy the central location of being conveniently close by everything in town, while the cottage is situated as such so that you're still able to enjoy complete privacy. You see, the cottage is back-set and facing the garden rather than the street or alley. We also have off street private parking, which is uniquely rare around here.
